Abstract

A process for producing and applying complex pictures and objects (eg photographs, video pictures etc) onto food products such as meat. pastry, fish, cheese etc as well as on products produced by the soap industry, comprises using a carbon dioxide laser writing unit. The latter is used according to the scan-raster principle.

Bei jeder Veränderung einer Grafik, die vom Scanner erfaßt und im Videospeicher abgelegt wird, wird demzufolge das gesamte Bild neu aufgebaut und am Bildschirm angezeigt. Ein davon abweichendes Verfahren ist das Punkt-Raster-Verfahren. Hier werden nur die neu hinzukommenden Punkte bzw. Bitwerte neu gesetzt. Letzteres erlaubt dem Anwender ein schnelles Arbeiten (geringe Wartezeiten), ist aber technisch aufwendiger und damit kostenintensiver.This means that the work area is electronically divided into a grid.
