Abstract
Description
Method and device for drying and purifying air and other gases by adsorbent The invention relates to a method and a Device for drying and cleaning air and other gases from hydrocarbons, Carbon dioxide and aromatics using silica gel, Molsieberl and other known ones Adsorbents as well as the regeneration of the adsorbents by feeding of warmth.
It is known that air drying is used to achieve a dew point up to approx. - 50 ° C by means of silica gel in two adsorbers alternately is carried out. One adsorber is loaded while the other is loaded Supply of heat is desorbed. The desorption of the gel is hereby under Feeding of approx. 150 ° Celsius heated dosing gas carried out. Particularly In the case of air separation plants, it is necessary to carry out intensive drying, to create the conditions for continuous operation. With gas drying systems is also known that a gradual Trocziung by dividing up into individual Adsorption layers takes place. This can also be done by means of intermediate cooling of the air, However, this means a considerable amount of equipment required.
It is still the arrangement of one after the other Gelarten became known.
B. Kohlensäure, Kohlenwasserstoffe und Äromaten zu adsorbieren.further adsorption agents: l for drying gases and for achieving of a dew point up to approx. - 50 0Celsius are molecular sieves, which in addition to the adsorption of water vapor are able to, for. B. carbonic acid, hydrocarbons and aromatics to adsorb.
These adsorbers are also operated alternately to ensure a continuous Air drying and cleaning e.g. B. to ensure air separation plants.
Molecular sieves require significantly higher activation temperatures for regeneration as gels.
In order to reduce the heat radiation during regeneration, the The adsorber is surrounded by an insulating layer or has a double-walled design. Isolations prevent the adsorber from being used again quickly as a result of the extended cooling time opposite. In addition, the manufacturing cost increases.
The invention is based on the object, a method and a To design a device for the adsorptive cleaning of air and gases, which a Ensure optimal air drying and economical gas cleaning and regeneration and the energy consumption of the regeneration due to the arrangement of the adsorbents significantly lower.
According to the invention this is achieved in that the method for Purification and drying of air and gases using known adsorbents how silica rule, oil sieves and other adsorbents are carried out, and that the adsorbent is regenerated by supplying heat by the gas to be dried and cleaned first to an adsorptive drying agent and then -dem adir sorptive cleaning agent is supplied, wherein the drying agent at the same time as the insulation material of the adsorber to reduce heat losses serves during the desorption process, and that the gas or air passes through first the outer ring-shaped adsorbents such as silica gel ird and then the inside arranged cleaning agent layers, e.g. made of molecular sieves exist, is fed, and that the annularly arranged adsorbent be used as an insulating jacket, and that the annular cross-section forming walls are provided with baffles to reduce the ability to navigate the land, and that the heated desorption gas first the detergent and then fed to the drying agent, and that in this case the cleaning layers are insulated against heat radiation by the outer drying layer.
In the drawing is a detailed example of the inventive Adsorbers shown for performing the process according to the invention.
Es zeigt: Fig. 1 einen-Adsorber im Aufriß.It shows: Fig. 1 an adsorber in elevation.
The adsorber consists essentially of the Ädsorbermantel 1, an the connection piece 2 and 3 for the supply and discharge of the to be dried and cleaned Medium are attached.
The nozzle 4 is attached for filling the adsorbent. Inside, the adsorber is divided into rooms 6 and 7 by the partition 5.
Between the Ädsorbermantel 1 and the partition, 5 are adsorptive Desiccant with the lowest desorption temperatures. arranged, and in The core of the adsorber is one or more adsorbents that have the highest desorption temperatures own to find.
The marginal accessibility of the air or the gases is determined by the arrangement of baffles 8 on the inner wall of the adsorber jacket 1 and on the inner and outer walls the partition 5 avoided.
The mode of action of the adsorber according to the invention for implementation of the method according to the invention is as follows: The air or the gas, the dried-Uzvr. from which substances are to be removed adsorptively, are jointly on the connecting piece 2 one or more adsorptive drying agents, which are more conveniently ring-shaped are formed, supplied.
After overcoming the drying zone, the gas enters the cleaning layer or in the cleaning layers and after cleaning the gas it emerges at connection piece 3.
Die Regenerierung verläuft entgegengesetzt, d. h., daß die Wärme, die zur Desorption des im Raum 7 befindlichen Reini-.The regeneration takes place in the opposite direction, i.e. i.e. that the warmth, for the desorption of the cleaning agent located in space 7.
gungsmittels erforderlich ist, am Stutzen 3 aufgegeben wird.medium is required, is abandoned at the nozzle 3.
The adsorptive desiccants are used as insulating material used against ~ 7arm radiation.
This ensures that the losses due to heat radiation be reduced. The continuation of the desorption gas through the drying layers at the same time guarantees the regeneration of the adsorptive desiccants.
