Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet ein Verfahren zum Verbinden von sich durchdringenden Profileisen, welches darin besteht, daß das eine Eisen in eine passende, ganz oder teilweise von biegsamen Lappen begrenzte Durchbrechung des anderen eingeführt und durch Zurückbiegen der vor dem Einführen seitwärts gebogenen Lappen festgeklemmt wird. Das Geländer besteht aus Ständern 1, die vorzugsweise aus gewalztem Material (Profileisen) hergestellt sind und beispielsweise !-Querschnitt aufweisen. Diese Ständer sind mit Durch brechungen 2 versehen, die dem Querschnitt des Geländerholmes, der beispielsweise gleichfalls I-Querschnitt aufweist, angepaßt sind. Behufs Befestigung der Holme an den Standem werden bei den letzteren alle oder nur einige der die Durchbrechungen begrenzenden lappenartigen Teile, beispielsweise die Lappen 4 und 5, vor dem Einführen der Holme zur Seite gebogen (Fig. 4) und nach Einführung der Holme ganz oder teilweise wieder in ihre ursprüngliche Lage zurückgebogen (Fig. 3), wobei die Klemmung zwischen den Lappen und den Holmen eine feste Verbindung von Holm und Ständer bewirkt. Bemerkt sei, daß das vorliegende Verbindungsverfahren nicht an Profileisen gebunden ist, vielmehr nur daran, daß die die Durchbrechung begrenzenden Lappen 4, 5 des Teiles 1 biegsam sind.The accompanying drawing shows an embodiment of the invention, specifically in use on a road railing for connecting the uprights to the spars.
