PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.

Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist eine Schabervorrichtung zur Herstellung von streifenförmiger Längsmusterung in Krepppapier auf der Papiermaschine.
Eine derartige Schabervorrichtung besteht darin, daß eine Stuhlung b, wie Fig. 2 und 2a zeigen, mit zwei oder mehr parallel zueinander laufenden Nuten versehen ist, in denen messerartige Metallamellen α von verschiedener Breite derart eingeschraubt bezw. befestigt sind, daß zwischen den einzelnen Messern Zwischenräume verbleiben. Werden die benannten Messer nebeneinander senkrecht der Nut eines Eisen- oder Holzblockes eingefügt, so kann die Befestigung derselben auch vermöge einer Metallplatte erfolgen, die durch einige Schrauben den unteren Teil der Messer gegen eine Wandung der Nut preßt und alsdann in dieser Lage verbleibt (Fig. 3 und 3 a). Wird dann die Papiermaschine nach vorherigem Anbringen der Schabervorrichtung (Fig. 1) in Tätigkeit gesetzt, dann rufen die Zwischenräume bei den einzelnen Messern die obenbezeichnete Längsmusterung hervor. Da diese Längsmusterung nun wiederholt in verschiedenen Breiten und Abständen auftreten muß, so ist bei den bisher bekannten Schabervorrichtungen nach der Anzahl der verschiedenen Muster eine ebenso große Anzahl Schaber erforderlich, während es die vorliegende Erfindung' gestattet, infolge der verschiedenen Breiten der Messer und der beliebigen Verstellbarkeit derselben mit einer einzigen derartigen Vorrichtung eine unbegrenzte Anzahl von verschiedenen Längsmusterungen herzustellen.
