Abstract

The straw guide (68) is secured to a module (98) which is movably mounted on the harvester frame (12) and which can be removed from the frame. The actuator (118) for changing the position of the straw guide (68) is mounted on the frame and becomes automatically disconnected from the frame when the module is removed and automatically connected to the frame when the module is replaced. An adjustable straw guide is located in the outlet (64) for a separator device (24) and can be moved between a first position in which the straw is supplied to a cutter (74) and a second position in which the straw is discharged onto the soil behind the harvester (10) without being cut.
