Abstract
A medical apparatus control procedure uses a video (9) image recognition system (17) to recognize the positioning of a pointer instrument (7) with light marker (11) in several positions (23) defining an area to image and transmits the positions to the control unit which converts it to control commands. Independent claims are included for apparatus using the procedure.
