Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a cleaning cover for a cleaning device designed in particular in the form of a mop with which a particularly smooth surface can be cleaned. The cleaning cover has at least two layers of fabric and at least one fastening means. To clean the surface of the cleaning cover with the at least one fastening means is attached to the cleaning device. The attachment of the cleaning cover could be reversible. During cleaning, a first layer of fabric faces the surface to be cleaned and - in particular almost completely - can be brought into contact with the surface. The cleaning cover may be in the form of a mop cover or a fabric cover or as a textile fabric. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a cleaning device and a method for cleaning the surface.

The present invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a cleaning reference, a cleaning device and a method of the type mentioned and further, with which on the one hand a cleaning high quality can be achieved and with which on the other hand, the cleaning process is less strenuous for an operator to make.
Thereafter, such a cleaning cover is characterized in that a second layer of fabric is arranged so fixed to the first layer of material that the first layer layer and the second layer of material - based on the surface to be cleaned - overlap in an overlapping area and that the second layer of fabric has an overhanging area in which - also with respect to the surface to be cleaned - the second layer of fabric does not overlap with the first layer of fabric. When cleaning the Überstehbereich the second layer of fabric is to be cleaned Surface can be brought into contact. The second layer of fabric is thus generally not be brought into contact with the surface to be cleaned in the overlapping region, since it is arranged on the side of the first layer of material facing away from the surface to be cleaned. In the sense of the present invention, a stationary arrangement of one layer of material to another layer of material means, in particular, that during cleaning with the cleaning cover the one layer of material is defined or arranged substantially invariably with respect to the other layer of material. This could be achieved by a corresponding attachment of the two fabric layers together.
In other words, the cleaning cover has two layers or layers of a substance. Since the two fabric layers are only partially overlapping relative to one another, the first layer of fabric and the protruding region of the second fabric layer thus come into contact with the surface to be cleaned during the cleaning process. In the vicinity of the transition between an edge region of the first layer of fabric and the protruding region of the second layer of fabric, however, there is a region in which the second layer of fabric is not directly in contact with the surface to be cleaned, depending on the fabric thickness of the first layer of fabric. Thus, according to the invention, it has first been recognized that the frictional force between the fabric layers of the cleaning cover and the surface to be cleaned can be reduced by this arrangement of the fabric layers. This area also allows the inclusion of larger dirt particles, which improves the cleaning effect of the cleaning cover according to the invention in an advantageous manner.
In particular, if the surface of the first fabric layer is smaller than the surface of the second fabric layer, the first fabric layer could substantially completely overlap with the second fabric layer. As a result, the cleaning cover can absorb a lot of moisture through a high consistency.
Preferably, a region is provided in which the first fabric layer does not overlap with the second fabric layer. In this way, on the one hand, material or material can be saved, which advantageously reduces the production costs of the cleaning cover. On the other hand, this makes it possible to form a type of "cavity" which can promote the cleaning effect of the cleaning cover according to the invention, which will be explained below.
According to a preferred embodiment, the first layer of fabric is attached to the second fabric layer in the overlapping region. This can be realized, for example, by one or more appropriately provided seams in a cost effective and effective manner. For example, an overlap area could have a width of about 1 cm.
According to a very particularly preferred embodiment, in each case a second layer of fabric is arranged in a stationary manner on two opposite sides of the first layer of fabric, that the second fabric layers each have a Überstehbereich in which the second fabric layers do not overlap with the first fabric layer, and that during cleaning the two Überstehbereiche the second layers of fabric can be brought into contact with the surface to be cleaned. Thus, according to this embodiment, two protruding areas are available, so that an increased dirt absorption is possible as a result. The second fabric layers and their Überstehbereiche are preferably arranged along or transverse to the main movement directions of the cleaning reference, that is, in the forward and backward direction.
Alternatively, a second layer of fabric could be formed and arranged stationary relative to the first layer of fabric, that the second fabric layer on each of two opposite sides of the first fabric layer each have a Überstehbereich in which the second fabric layer does not overlap with the first fabric layer, and that during cleaning the two Überstehbereiche the second layer of fabric can be brought into contact with the surface to be cleaned. According to this embodiment, therefore, the surface of the second fabric layer is larger than the surface of the first fabric layer. As a result, this embodiment can provide a comparable result to the previously described embodiment with respect to the fabric layers which can be brought into contact with the surface to be cleaned. However, according to this embodiment, since the second fabric layer is only formed by a single fabric layer, the formation of a cavity with the two fabric layers alone is not possible. However, it is also possible according to this embodiment, a high moisture absorption due to the high consistency.
According to a very particularly preferred embodiment, the cleaning cover according to the invention is constructed from more than two layers of fabric. For this purpose, at least one further layer of fabric could be stationarily arranged relative to a previous layer of fabric such that the previous fabric layer and the further fabric layer overlap in an overlapping region and the further fabric layer has an overlapping region in which the further fabric layer does not overlap with the previous fabric layer, and that during the cleaning, the overhanging area of the further fabric layer can be brought into contact with the surface to be cleaned. Thus, a third layer of fabric is thus stationarily arranged relative to the second layer of fabric such that the second fabric layer and the third fabric layer overlap in an overlapping region and the third fabric layer has an overlap region in which the third fabric layer does not overlap with the second fabric layer in the Cleaning the Überstehbereich the third layer of fabric can be brought into contact with the surface to be cleaned. At a third layer of fabric a fourth layer of fabric could be arranged stationary. In turn, a fifth layer of fabric could be arranged on a fourth fabric layer and so on. In that regard, may be formed by this measure, the cleaning reference comparable to a pitched roof or pent roof of a house, which, however, faces with its outer part of the surface to be cleaned. Such a design of the cleaning cover therefore has at least two layers of fabric.
Now, according to the embodiment described above, according to which a second layer of fabric is fixedly arranged on two opposite sides of the first fabric layer, a corresponding arrangement of a further fabric layer may be provided on a previous fabric layer. Accordingly, according to this embodiment, a further layer of fabric is arranged in a stationary manner on two opposite sides of the previous fabric layer such that the further fabric layers each have an overhang region in which the further fabric layers do not overlap with the previous fabric layer, and that during cleaning the two overhanging regions of the further fabric layers can be brought into contact with the surface to be cleaned. In that regard, can be formed by this measure, the cleaning reference comparable to a pitched roof or pitched roof of a house, which, however, faces with its tip of the surface to be cleaned. Such a design of the cleaning cover therefore has at least two layers of fabric.
Feuchtigkeitsaufnahme aufweisen.Comparable to the above-described arrangement of a second layer of fabric on each of two opposite sides of the first layer of fabric, a corresponding arrangement of a further layer of fabric on the respective previous layer layer could be provided. A further layer of fabric is thus arranged stationary relative to the previous layer of fabric, that the further fabric layer on two opposite sides of the previous fabric layer each having a Überstehbereich in which the further fabric layer does not overlap with the previous layer layer, and that during cleaning the two Überstehbereiche the further material layer can be brought into contact with the surface to be cleaned. In such an arrangement of fabric layers cavities are formed. The cleaning cover can have a high absorbency or moisture absorption.
If it is now provided that the cleaning cover should have a cavity, according to a preferred embodiment, a previous layer of fabric and another layer of fabric are arranged stationary relative to each other such that an area is provided in which the previous layer of fabric does not overlap with the further fabric layer, thereby Hollow body area or a cavity for the cleaning cover can be formed. This hollow body region of the cleaning cover is thus formed by the fact that a previous layer of fabric with a further fabric layer has no overlapping region and yet another layer of fabric or a support structure of the cleaning cover is provided, which extends over the region in which the previous layer of fabric does not interfere with the other Fabric layer overlaps. Since the fabric layers are generally flexible, it is quite possible for an upper layer of material bounding the hollow body region, based on the surface to be cleaned, to come into contact with an underlying layer of fabric or material bounding the hollow body region at the bottom. Nevertheless, the cleaning cover then has a hollow body region, which, however, is not pronounced directly between two opposite layers of fabric, but under certain circumstances between the cleaning cover and the cleaning device. Due to an arrangement of the fabric layers in such a way that at least one hollow body region is formed, the cleaning cover can not permanently remain in contact with the surface to be cleaned during the cleaning of the surface where a hollow body region is formed. Namely, at such points, a cavity can be formed between the surface to be cleaned and the material layer facing it. As a result, the frictional force between the surface to be cleaned and the surface layers facing the surface can be reduced. In that regard, at least in some areas, due to the formation of at least one hollow body region in the cleaning cover, essentially at least one linear contact between the cleaning cover and the surface to be cleaned can be produced. If no or only a few hollow body regions are provided in the cleaning cover, a substantially sheet-like contact between the cleaning cover and the surface to be cleaned can result.
In principle, a cleaning cover according to the invention can be optimized especially for the cleaning of a type of surfaces to be cleaned, for example a floor with tiles, parquet, laminate or PVC. For this purpose, individual or all fabric layers of the cleaning cover can have a specific material or a specific substance. In addition or as an alternative, the individual fabric layers of the cleaning cover can be arranged relative to one another in such a way that overlapping areas or overhanging areas of predeterminable surface area or size result.
In a very particularly preferred embodiment, at least one side of a fabric layer is freely movable or arranged loosely relative to another layer of fabric. this could is preferably provided on a longitudinal side of the fabric layer. Due to the arrangement of the cleaning cover and the weight force, the protruding area of the second or another layer of fabric is in contact with the surface to be cleaned and can thus absorb or bind dirt. In general, however, no additional force is exerted on the second layer of fabric in the overhang region, for example from above by the weight of a wiping element of the cleaning device, so that the overlapping region of the second or further layer of material in contact with the surface to be cleaned is insignificant contributes to the frictional force. In that regard, the total frictional force between the cleaning cover according to the invention and the surface to be cleaned is reduced in a cleaning effect relatively high quality in an advantageous manner.
Preferably, a fabric layer on its free-moving side incisions or recesses such that in this way individual pieces of fabric or strips are formed. The individual fabric pieces or strips may have a predetermined width, which could be in a range between 1 cm and 5 cm and which preferably has a width of about 2 cm. Due to the fabric parts or the strip both a very good fine dirt cleaning is guaranteed with a dry application of the cleaning cover and a very good cleaning with wet cleaning reference. By the fabric pieces or strips formed by the incisions or recesses, the frictional force between the fabric parts and the surface to be cleaned can be reduced. The individual fabric parts of a plurality of fabric layers can each be offset from one another (comparable to a flake arrangement) or arranged substantially overlapping. The pieces of fabric or strips which are freely movable or loose relative to another layer of fabric on at least one side of a fabric layer come into contact or rest against the surface to be cleaned on the basis of the weight force. As a result, the cleaning effect and in particular the dirt absorption of the cleaning cover are further increased.
Now, a layer of fabric could be produced from an initially cohesive larger layer of fabric by cutting or punching. After the cutting or punching process, there could still be a coherent fabric layer into which the incisions or recesses could be introduced. Thus, if a larger rectangular fabric piece is provided with a plurality of parallel aligned cuts from one side, these cuts are sized so that they do not reach the opposite side so that a continuous area or strip remains on which the fabric pieces or strips hang ,
Now, the fastener could have at least one attachment layer of fabric (tab). At least one Velcro fastener or a part of a pair of press studs could be arranged on the attachment layer made of cloth. The attachment layer of fabric could be formed in the form of at least one tab. For attaching the cleaning cover to a wiper body of the cleaning device, the attachment layer of fabric could be folded around the wiper body and fixed with the at least one hook and loop or the pair of push-button. So you can, for example, simply put an existing conventional mop on the spread cleaning cover, suggests the tabs arranged on both sides of each other, slightly squeezes the sewn Velcro surfaces together and the cleaning cover is fixed to the conventional mop. It can not be moved, if properly installed, and thus can be easily used for thorough floor cleaning.
It could be provided a support layer or a frame-shaped construction, to which the at least one fastening means and / or at least one layer of fabric is fixed. The carrier layer could have a higher stiffness than a fabric layer.
According to a very particularly preferred embodiment, the fabric layers which can be brought into contact with the surface to be cleaned or their overhang regions have the shape of a rectangle. The rectangle could have side lengths of about 50 cm x 12 cm. Such a trained cleaning cover can be attached to a conventional mop and in particular on the usually rectangular shaped - conventional - fabric cover of the conventional mop. Accordingly, the fabric layers of the cleaning reference according to the invention between the surface to be cleaned and the fabric cover of the conventional mop are arranged. Due to the elastic or deformable properties of the fabric cover of the conventional mop, a contact pressure of the fabric layers of the cleaning cover can result between the fabric layers of the cleaning cover according to the invention and the surface to be cleaned in a particularly advantageous manner, which allows a cleaning result high quality. In principle, the fabric layers which can be brought into contact with the surface to be cleaned or their overhang regions could also have the form of a circle, an ellipse or a triangle.
Preferably, at least one layer of fabric is dimensioned such that it extends substantially completely over a longitudinal side of a wiping body of the cleaning device or completely over a longitudinal side of the above-described rectangular cleaning cover. In this context, it should be noted that even a fabric layer provided with incisions or recesses can extend in the same way completely over a longitudinal side of the cleaning device.
Now basically a fabric layer could have at least two layers of a coherent fabric. This could be particularly useful when a layer of the fabric has too small a thickness to be used as a single layer.
With respect to a cleaning device, the object mentioned in the introduction is achieved by the features of
- a) carrying out a pre-cleaning of the surface to be cleaned with the cleaning device designed in particular in the form of a mop, initially without a cleaning reference,
- b) applying a cleaning cover formed according to one of
claims 1 to 21 on the cleaning device, - c) fixing the cleaning cover to the cleaning device by means of the at least one fastening means,
- d) performing a final cleaning of the surface to be cleaned with the cleaning device to which the cleaning cover is attached.
The inventive method can thus be composed of a pre-cleaning with a conventional mop and a final or final cleaning, only at the Final cleaning of the cleaning cover according to the invention is used. In that regard, a trained according to one of
Since a person skilled in the art is aware of the design and operation of the cleaning cover according to any one of
Depending on the nature of each surface to be cleaned and their degree of soiling, it may be appropriate to moisten the cleaning reference. After all, it may also be expedient to carry out the cleaning with a dry cleaning reference.
Now, the cleaning process with a cleaning cover could be carried out until the cleaning cover can absorb substantially no more dirt. After a cleaning process with such a cleaning cover this could be replaced by another cleaning cover. This could be dry or already moistened or it could be moistened when the cleaning cover is on the cleaning device.
Preferably, a cleaning cover soiled by the cleaning is cleaned only after the cleaning process, for example in a washing machine. For this purpose, a fabric bag could be provided, in which the cleaning cover can be spent so that the cleaning cover optionally provided hook-and-pile closures do not get caught with other laundry items in the washing machine.
