Description
Claims (14)
- - einen Leistungsverstärker (172) zum Verstärken eines Eingangssignals, um ein verstärktes Signal zu erzeugen;
- - ein Netzwerk (174) mit veränderlicher Impedanz, das mit einem Ausgang des Leistungsverstärkers (172) verbunden ist, wobei das Netzwerk (174) mit veränderlicher Impe danz dazu dient, in Reaktion auf ein Laststeuersignal unterschiedliche Impedanzen am Ausgang des Leistungsver stärkers (172) bereitzustellen;
- - einen Spitzen-Mittelwert-Differenzdetektor (180), der mit einem Ausgang des Leistungsverstärkers (172) verbun den ist, wobei der Spitzen-Mittelwert-Differenzdetektor (180) einen Spitzenpegel des verstärkten Signals und eine mittlere Leistung des verstärkten Signals erfaßt und eine Anzeige einer Differenz zischen dem Spitzenpe gel und der mittleren Leistung schafft; und
- - eine Steuereinheit (184), die mit dem Spitzen-Mittel wert-Differenzdetektor (180) und dem Netzwerk (174) mit veränderlicher Impedanz verbunden ist, wobei die Steuer einheit (184) zum Erzeugen des Laststeuersignals in Reaktion auf die Anzeige der Differenz zwischen dem Spitzenpegel und der mittleren Leistung des verstärkten Signals dient.
- - einen Leistungsverstärker (172) zum Verstärken eines Eingangssignals, um ein verstärktes Signal zu erzeugen;
- - ein Netzwerk (174) mit veränderlicher Impedanz, das mit einem Ausgang des Leistungsverstärkers (172) verbunden ist, wobei das Netzwerk (174) mit veränderlicher Impe danz dazu dient, in Reaktion auf ein Laststeuersignal unterschiedliche Impedanzen am Ausgang des Leistungsver stärkers (172) bereitzustellen;
- - ein Spitzen-Mittelwert-Detektor (180), der mit einem Ausgang des Leistungsverstärkers (172) verbunden ist, wobei der Spitzen-Mittelwert-Detektor (180) eine Anzeige eines Spitzen-Mittelwert-Verhältnisses des verstärkten Signals schafft; und
- - eine Steuereinheit (184), die mit dem Spitzen-Mittel wert-Detektor (180) und dem Netzwerk (174) mit veränder licher Impedanz verbunden ist, wobei die Steuereinheit (184) zum Erzeugen des Laststeuersignals in Reaktion auf die Anzeige des Spitzen-Mittelwert-Verhältnisses des verstärkten Signals dient.
- - Verstärken des RF-Signals mit einem Leistungsverstärker (172), um ein verstärktes Signal zu erzeugen;
- - Erfassen (358) eines Spitzen-Mittelwert-Verhältnisses des verstärkten Signals;
- - Erzeugen einer Anzeige des Spitzen-Mittelwert-Verhält nisses; und
- - Verändern (366, 370) von Impedanzen, die an einem Ausgang des Leistungsverstärkers in Reaktion auf die Anzeige des Spitzen-Mittelwert-Verhältnisses bereitge stellt werden.
