The invention relates to a pot-shaped container for growing cultivated plants in living spaces according to the hydroponic process with a container for the nutrient solution and one arranged in this, for holding potted plants, especially indoor plants, used with his Edge rests on a paragraph below the edge of the container. In known devices of this type are the container and the insert are specially designed and manufactured for this purpose. The invention is now the The task is based on a pot-shaped container for growing crops by the hydroponic process to create in living spaces, in which at least one of the two necessary containers a commercially available container (flower pot). According to the invention, this object is first solved in that the distance of the paragraph from the container edge is at least the height of the protruding Edge of a commercial flower pot and the clear width of the paragraph is smaller than the outside diameter of the pot rim.
The invention has the advantage that the establishment of water cultures, especially in living spaces cheaper and easier.
According to the invention, the device for indoor water culture is advantageously designed so that projections are provided in the interior of the container which carry the insert pot. These protrusions can be formed in a simple manner that the inner diameter of the container in the area of the protrusions decreases downwards and between the container and the insert pot an expediently resilient Ring is clamped, which can be slotted. If necessary, this clamping ring can also be circular Have cross-section and consist of rubber or a rubber-like material.
So that a water culture in a commercially available container, e.g. B. a planter or a ball vase, can be carried out, the associated insert can advantageously comb-like according to the invention and its edge be resilient in itself, so that this insert is hung in a commercially available container can become and get stuck in this. The walls and the floor of the insert can be used be partially provided with slots extending from the bottom to the edge. Through this training of the Use is also facilitated the removal of the plants in an advantageous manner that after removing the filling consisting of pieces of stone (gravel) the roots of the plant without can be pulled out laterally from the slots.

Here, 1 designates a commercially available planter that takes up a nutrient solution. Both Embodiments of the subject of the invention according to FIGS. 1 to 5 is in this container 1 a handeis ~ usual flower pot 2 hooked. For this purpose, a slotted and self-resilient ring 3 is provided, the outer wall of which is designed conically in accordance with the inner wall of the container 1 and which has radial, console-like projections 4 on its inside. These are designed so that after the insertion of the ring 3 in the container 1, its inside diameter corresponds to the outer diameter of the flower pot 2 below the shoulder-shaped edge 5 of the same and therefore the pot 2 with his Shoulder on the projections 4 rests. As shown in FIG. 3, these can optionally be designed in this way be that a cutout is provided at its tip, which receives the edge 5 of the pot 2 in itself.
B. angekittet, oder auch einstückig mit diesem ausgebildetA particularly simple way of hanging the flowerpot 2 is shown in FIG the pot 2 is suspended in the container 1 by means of a rubber ring 6 which is pushed over the pot 2 and is clamped between the rim 5 and the container 1 below the rim thereof. Included this ring 6 can be appropriately slotted so that between the container 1 and the insert pot 2 a opening remains free. The use of a commercially available flower pot 2 is also possible if this is not suspended in the container 1 by means of a loose insert ring, but rather the projections on it 4 are attached directly. These can either be attached to the container 1, e.g. B. cemented, or also formed in one piece with this
In order to give the plant planted in the insert pot 2 the opportunity to put its roots in the nutrient solution to lower, the bottom of the pot 2 with additional passages 7 or with an enlarged Be provided opening. As shown in Fig. 4 and S, but can also be the bottom except for one removed from the narrow edge and a disc 8 of a comb-like design inserted over the opening. This is provided with parallel incisions on two opposite sides, which act as passages serve for the roots of the plant used. This insert base 8 facilitates in an advantageous manner Way of moving the plants. This can easily be done with the gravel filling located above the bottom 8 can be removed from the pot 2. The roots of the plant can then emerge from the side Slits of the insert bottom 8 are pulled out and lifted from the gravel.
