Abstract
Verfahren
zum Spritzformen eines Kunststoffvorformlings, umfassend:
Spritzformen eines ersten thermoplastischen Materials, um einen ersten Vorformlingsabschnitt (340) mit einer durchschnittlichen prozentualen Kristallinität von mindestens ungefähr 30% zu formen; und
Spritzformen eines zweiten thermoplastischen Materials, um einen zweiten Vorformlingsabschnitt (350) zu formen, der im wesentlichen amorph bleibt.
Spritzformen eines ersten thermoplastischen Materials, um einen ersten Vorformlingsabschnitt (340) mit einer durchschnittlichen prozentualen Kristallinität von mindestens ungefähr 30% zu formen; und
Spritzformen eines zweiten thermoplastischen Materials, um einen zweiten Vorformlingsabschnitt (350) zu formen, der im wesentlichen amorph bleibt.
Claims (53)
- Verfahren zum Spritzformen eines Kunststoffvorformlings, umfassend: Spritzformen eines ersten thermoplastischen Materials, um einen ersten Vorformlingsabschnitt (
340 ) mit einer durchschnittlichen prozentualen Kristallinität von mindestens ungefähr 30% zu formen; und Spritzformen eines zweiten thermoplastischen Materials, um einen zweiten Vorformlingsabschnitt (350 ) zu formen, der im wesentlichen amorph bleibt. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei der erste Abschnitt im wesentlichen einen Halsabschnitt (
340 ) ist und der zweite Abschnitt im wesentlichen ein den Körper bildender Abschnitt (350 ). - Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei das zweite Material eine geringere Kristallisationsrate hat als das erste Material.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, wobei das erste Material aus der Gruppe ausgewählt ist, die Polyester umfasst sowie Polyester mit keimbildenden Mitteln, Arylatpolymere, Polyethylennaphthalat (PEN), Polycarbonat, Polypropylen, Polyamid, Polysulfon, Acrylonitrilstyren und Copolymere und Mischungen davon.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 4, wobei das zweite Material ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe, die Homopolymere umfasst sowie Copolymere und Mischungen von einem oder mehreren der folgenden: Polyethylenterephthalat (PET), Polyethylennaphtalat (PEN) und wiederverwertetes PET.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 4, weiterhin umfassend ein Ausdehnen des zweiten Abschnittes (
350 ), um einen im wesentlichen durchsichtigen und biaxial orientierten Körper (380 ) eines Behältnisses (370 ) zu formen. - Verfahren zum Herstellen eines vielschichtigen spritzgeformten Kunststoffartikels, wobei das Verfahren umfasst: zunächst Formen einer Innenhülsenschicht zwischen einem ersten Formhohlraum und einem Kern, wobei der erste Formhohlraum erhitzt wird, um eine Außenfläche der Innenhülsenschicht mit einer höheren Temperatur für einen darauffolgenden Formschritt vorzusehen; Übergeben des Kerns und der Hülsenschicht an einen zweiten Formhohlraum und zweitens Formen einer Außenschicht über die Hülsenschicht, während die Außenfläche die erhöhte Temperatur hat, wobei die Außenschicht eine Dicke hat, die größer ist als die Dicke der inneren Hülsenschicht, wobei die erhöhte Temperatur so gewählt wird, dass eine Schmelzadhäsion zwischen der inneren Hülse und der Außenschicht während des zweiten Formungsschrittes eintritt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei: die Innenhülse ein nicht-wiederverwertetes Polymer umfasst; und die Außenschicht ein wiederverwertetes Polymer umfasst.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 8, wobei: das nicht-wiederverwertete Polymer ein ungebrauchtes Polyethylenterephthalat (PET) – Polymer ist, das ein Homopolymer umfasst sowie ein Niedrig-Copolymer und Mischungen von PET; und das wiederverwertete Polymer ein wiederverwertetes PET ist.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, wobei: die Innenhülse bis zu 20 Gew.-% des Artikels umfasst.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 10, wobei: die Innenhülse größenordnungsmäßig 10 Gew.-% des Artikels umfasst.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, wobei: die Innenhülse eine Innenhülse voller Länge aus nichtwiederverwertetem PET ist, das bis zu 20 Gew.-% des Artikels umfasst; die Außenschicht mindestens eine Schicht aus wiederverwertetem PET umfasst.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Innenhülse aus der Gruppe ausgewählt ist, die besteht aus: einem Hülsenabschnitt voller Länge; einem oberen Hülsenabschnitt; einem oberen Hülsenabschnitt voller Dicke; und einem Hülsenabschnitt, der eine obere Fläche des Artikels umfasst; und wobei die innere Hülse ein Polymer umfasst, das aus der Gruppe ausgewählt ist, die besteht aus: einem Polymer mit hohem Tg; einem Polyethylennaphthalat (PEN) – Polymer, umfassend Homopolymer, Niedrig-Copolymer und Mischungen von PEN; und einem kristallisierbaren Polymer.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei: der Artikel einen Vorformling zum Herstellen eines Getränkebehältnisses ist.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 14, wobei: der Artikel ausgedehnt wird, um einen Getränkebehälter herzustellen, der aus der Gruppe ausgewählt ist, die Behälter für kohlensäurehaltige Getränke umfasst sowie heiß-befüllbare, wiederbefüllbare, pasteurisierbare und Sauerstoff-Sperr-Behälter.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Schmelzadhäsion zwischen der inneren Hülse und der Außenschicht Diffusions-Kontaktherstellung und/oder Kettenverknüpfung umfasst.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Hülse einen oberen Hülsenabschnitt des Artikels bildet und die Außenschicht einen unteren Körperabschnitt des Artikels bildet.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 17, wobei der obere Hülsenabschnitt im ersten Formhohlraum kristallisiert wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei der erste Formungsschritt die innere Hülse formt als: einen Hülsenabschnitt voller Länge; einen oberen Hülsenabschnitt; einen oberen Hülsenabschnitt voller Dicke; und einen Hülsenabschnitt, der eine obere Fläche des Artikels umfasst.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Außenschicht mehrere Außenschichten umfasst.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei der Artikel ein Vorformling ist.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 21, wobei der erste Formungsschritt einen Halsabschnitt des Vorformlings formt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 22, wobei der Halsabschnitt aus einem Polymer geformt wird, das während des ersten Formungsschrittes pasteurisiert wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 22, wobei der Halsabschnitt aus einem ersten Polymer-Material geformt wird, das eine höhere Einfriertemperatur hat als ein zweites Polymer-Material, das die Außenschicht bildet.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Hülse des ersten Formungsschrittes kristallisiert wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Hülse eine Wanddicke in der Größenordnung von 0,5 bis 1,5 mm hat.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 26, wobei die Außenschicht eine Wanddicke in einer Größenordnung von 2,50 bis 6,35 mm hat.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die innere Hülse aus einem ersten Material mit einer ersten Schmelztemperatur geformt wird und die Außenschicht eine zweite Schicht neben der Innenhülse umfasst und aus einem zweiten Material mit einer zweiten Schmelztemperatur geformt wird, die niedriger ist als die erste Schmelztemperatur.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 28, wobei: die innere Hülse ein erstes Polyethylenterephthalat (PET) – Polymer umfasst; und die Außenschicht ein zweites PET-Polymer umfasst.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 29, wobei: jedes der ersten und zweiten PET-Polymere aus der Gruppe ausgewählt ist, die PET Homopolymer und Niedrig-Copolymere umfasst.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 30, wobei: das erste PET-Polymer eine Eigenviskosität von mindestens 0,76 hat.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 31, wobei: die innere Hülse eine Wanddicke im Bereich von 0,5 bis 1,5 mm hat; und die Außenschicht eine Wanddicke im Bereich von 2,50 bis 6,35 mm hat.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 29, wobei: der Artikel ein Vorformling zum Herstellen eines Getränkebehältnisses ist.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 33, wobei: der Vorformling einen Körperabschnitt aufweist und das Verfahren weiterhin umfasst, den Körperabschnitt des Vorformlings auszudehnen, um einen Behälter zu formen, der einem im wesentlichen durchsichtigen biaxial-orientierten Körperabschnitt hat.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei der erste Formhohlraum bei der ersten Hohlraumtemperatur gehalten wird und der zweite Formhohlraum bei einer zweiten Hohlraumtemperatur, die niedriger ist als die erste Hohlraumtemperatur.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 35, wobei der Kern eine Kerntemperatur hat, die niedriger ist als die erste Hohlraumtemperatur.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die innere Hülse aus einem ersten Teil mit einem ersten Tg geformt wird und die Höhe der Temperatur in einem Größenordnungsbereich von 5 bis 20°C unterhalb des ersten Tg liegt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Hülse aus einem ersten Material geformt wird, das aus der Gruppe ausgewählt ist, die Homopolymere umfasst sowie Copolymere und Mischungen aus Polyethylennaphthalat (PEN).
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Außenschicht mindestens eine Schicht umfasst, die aus einem zweiten Material geformt ist, das aus der Gruppe ausgewählt ist, die Polyethylenterephthalat (PET) umfasst sowie wiederverwertetes PET, Polyethylen, Polypropylen, Polyacrylat, Polycarbonat, Polyacrylonitril, Nylon und Copolymere und Mischungen davon.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei der Artikel einen Seitenwandabschnitt hat, in dem die innere Hülse eine erste Dicke (t1) und die Außenschicht eine zweite Dicke (t2) hat, und wobei das Verhältnis von t2 : tl größer ist als 4 : 1.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die innere Hülse eine erste Dicke (t1) und die Außenschicht eine zweite Dicke (t2) hat, und wobei das Verhältnis von t2 : tl in der Größenordnung von 1,2 : 1 bis 8 : 1 liegt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Innenhülse im wesentlichen kristallisiert ist und die Außenschicht im wesentlichen amorph.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Innenhülse aus einem ersten Material gebildet ist und die Außenschicht aus einem zweiten Material, und wobei das zweite Material eine niedrigere Kristallisationsrate hat als das erste Material.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei erste und zweite Kerne bereitgestellt werden, und wobei während eines ersten Zyklus der erste Kern im ersten Formhohlraum positioniert wird, um eine erste innere Hülse zu formen, und der zweite Kern mit einer zweiten inneren Hülse darauf gleichzeitig in einem zweiten Hohlraum positioniert wird, um eine zweite Außenschicht auf der zweiten inneren Hülse zu formen.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei der erste Formungsschritt eingangs eine aktionslose Periode umfasst, während der zweite Formungsschritt voranschreitet, um den zweiten Formungsschritt mit der Außenfläche der Hülsenschicht bei erhöhter Temperatur zu ermöglichen.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Hülse aus einem ersten Material geformt wird, das aus der Gruppe ausgewählt ist, die Polyester umfasst sowie Polyester mit keimbildenden Mitteln, Acrylat, Polyethylennaphthalat (PEN), Polycarbonat, Polypropylen, Polyamid, Polysulfon, Acrylonitrilstyren und Copolymere und Mischungen davon.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 46, wobei die Außenschicht ein zweites Material umfasst, das ausgewählt ist aus der Gruppe, die aus Homopolymeren besteht sowie Copolymeren und Mischungen von einem oder mehreren von: Polyethylenterephthalat (PET), Polyethylennaphthalat (PEN) und wiederverwertetem PET.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei der Artikel einen Körperabschnitt umfasst und das Verfahren weiterhin ein Ausdehnen des Körperabschnittes des Artikels umfasst, um einen ausgedehnten Artikel mit einem im wesentlichen durchsichtigen und biaxial orientierten Körperabschnitt zu erhalten.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei das Verfahren weiterhin ein Abkühlen des Artikels unterhalb einer ersten Einfriertemperatur eines ersten Materials umfasst, das die innere Hülsenschicht umfasst, sowie ein Wiedererhitzen des Artikels über die erste Einfriertemperatur und ein Ausdehnen des wiedererhitzten Artikels, um einen ausgedehnten Artikel zu bilden.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei der ausgedehnte Artikel einen oberen Halsabschnitt aufweist der ein hohes Tg hat oder kristallisiert ist, und einen im wesentlichen durchsichtigen biaxial orientierten Körperabschnitt.
- Verfahren zum Formen eines vielschichtigen Kunststoffartikels, wobei eine erste Schicht auf einen Kern in einem ersten Formhohlraum geformt wird und die erste Schicht und der Kern an einen zweiten Formhohlraum übergeben werden, wo eine zweite Schicht geformt wird, wobei: im wesentlichen jedes Abkühlen in der ersten Form eliminiert wird, um eine Außenfläche der ersten Schicht bei einer erhöhten Temperatur in der zweiten Form zu erhalten, was eine Schmelzhaftung zwischen der Außenfläche der ersten Schicht und der zweiten Schicht ermöglicht.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 51, wobei eingangs eine aktionslose Periode in der ersten Form vorgesehen ist, bevor ein Füll- und Druckdurchgang erfolgt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 51, wobei gleichzeitig mit dem Formen der ersten Schicht über einem Kern in der ersten Form eine zweite Schicht über eine vorher geformte erste Schicht auf einem zweiten Kern in der zweiten Form geformt wird.
