Description

清凉剂溶液及含有其的组合物
本发明涉及组合物,具体说是涉及含有乳酸薄荷醇酯和薄荷醇甲酰胺的溶液。
乳酸薄荷醇酯是一种重要的成分,其价值在于它具有清凉剂的特性。此外,已知其实际上没有异味和颜色,因而可以用于所有形式的风味和芳香组合物中,从而赋予强烈而持久的清凉效果而不影响芳香或香味平衡。
它可以是以白色、低熔点固体的形式商购获得,以固体块的形式提供,因而在用于食品或化妆应用之前需要物理性破碎并且熔融。这些物理性质使得这种化合物难于利用。所以,现有技术中曾尝试提供一种更方便形式的化合物。例如,DE19607278中,涉及了乳酸薄荷醇酯的利用问题,并且公开了一种新结晶形式的物质来解决此问题。在此参考文献中,公开了可以将乳酸薄荷醇酯与少量碱或碱土碳酸盐混合,并且从丙酮中重结晶,以提供细晶体形式的乳酸薄荷醇酯。这种晶体形式的乳酸薄荷醇酯是目前可商购获得的。然而,使用这种结晶形式不是没有问题的。
首先,它是类似粉末形式的,与所有的粉末一样,它必须小心处理,以避免与之相关的灰尘危害。其次,将粉末混合入食品或化妆制剂的基料中并不总是方便或容易的,因为所述基料可能是呈液体或类似糊膏状的。为解决这个问题,配制者可以使用可接受的溶剂将晶体溶解,然后将溶液添加至诸如食物制品、口腔护理产品或化妆品中。然而,这种溶解为配制者增加了额外的加工步骤,使得加工不方便并且增加使用成本。第三,即使将乳酸薄荷醇酯以结晶的形式提供,但由于其熔点低,在某些储藏条件下,如高温和/或高湿度下,结晶乳酸薄荷醇酯粉末具有附聚的趋向。因此,要想晶体形式长期储藏,就必须保持在相对低的温度和在低湿度条件下。
因此,仍然需要提供某一形式的乳酸薄荷醇酯,该形式可容易在进一步的配制操作中容易使用,并且以那种形式长期储藏能够保持稳定,即使是在相对高的湿度和温度条件下。
出人意料地,现已发现,如果将乳酸薄荷醇酯与薄荷醇甲酰胺合并或者与之共溶可以获得含有相对高含量乳酸薄荷醇酯的稳定的乳酸薄荷醇酯的溶液。
因此,本发明的第一个方面是提供一种制备含乳酸薄荷醇酯的溶液的方法,其中乳酸薄荷醇酯的最终浓度高于通过将乳酸薄荷醇酯溶解在净溶剂中可达到的浓度,所述方法包括:
a)将乳酸薄荷醇酯液化,和
b)将液化的乳酸薄荷醇酯与薄荷醇甲酰胺和溶剂合并,所述溶剂是食品、口腔护理或化妆用途可接受的。
本发明的第二个方面涉及通过上述制备的、主要由溶解在溶剂中的乳酸薄荷醇酯和薄荷醇甲酰胺组成的溶液。优选,除溶剂外,本发明的溶液不含任何其它的风味化合物或芳香化合物。
本发明的溶液显出良好的储藏稳定性。据观察,没有乳酸薄荷醇酯或薄荷醇甲酰胺从溶液中沉淀出来,即使是在相对低的储藏温度下,例如,低至约4℃。由此,可以提供具有高浓度合并的乳酸薄荷醇酯和薄荷醇甲酰胺、同时没有前述固体产品问题的组合物。此外,由于组合物呈液体形式,因而配制含有溶液的产品、特别是食物制品、口腔护理或化妆品,比起使用粉末或其它固体物质(在使用前必须要熔融)而言相当地容易。除此之外,薄荷醇甲酰胺本身对于本领域来说已知就是一种可商购获得的清凉剂材料,其几乎不或者根本不显出异味或气味。
本发明中优选使用的溶剂可以选自那些可以在食品、口腔护理或化妆应用中使用的任何溶剂。作为溶剂,最优选选自辛基十二醇,双丙二醇,丙二醇,甘油三酯,肉豆蔻酸异丙酯,橄榄油,杏仁油,月桂酸己酯,醇,及其混合物,以及含有一种或多种前面所述溶剂的含水组合物(例如,含有10%水的水性含醇混合物)。
本文中所用的“溶剂”是指单独一种溶剂或溶剂的混合物。包括不同纯度的级别,如食用级和药用级。
本文中所用的“净溶剂”是指不含薄荷醇甲酰胺的上述定义的溶剂。
本文中所用的“液化”是指通过熔融使固体乳酸薄荷醇酯变成液体的加工步骤。
可以将乳酸薄荷醇酯和薄荷醇甲酰胺添加至合适的溶剂中,以产生含有1-99wt%、优选55-80wt%的合并的乳酸薄荷醇酯和薄荷醇甲酰胺化合物的溶液,余量物质是溶剂。更优选,本发明的溶液中含有约25-30%的溶剂,更特别27-29%的溶剂,达到100%的余量物质是合并的乳酸薄荷醇酯和薄荷醇甲酰胺。
乳酸薄荷醇酯与薄荷醇甲酰胺的比例可在宽范围内变化,取决于所需的清凉性能。例如,尽管这两种化合物都因它们显著的或“高影响力”的清凉效果而已知,但据观察它们所影响的口腔的区域是不同的。乳酸薄荷醇酯趋于耙向口腔的前部/中间,而薄荷醇甲酰胺往往耙向口腔的后部和顶部。因此,本领域技术人员,根据常识或者通过一些常规试验,并不需要创造性劳动便能够合并合适比例的乳酸薄荷醇酯与薄荷醇甲酰胺,从而达到合意的感观效果。
在一个特别优选的实施方案,本发明提供一种乳酸薄荷醇酯和薄荷醇甲酰胺的储存稳定的溶液,其中含有10-20wt%的薄荷醇甲酰胺,更特别14-18wt%的薄荷醇甲酰胺。
在一个特别优选的实施方案中,本发明提供一种乳酸薄荷醇酯和薄荷醇甲酰胺的储存稳定的溶液,其中含有50-60wt%的乳酸薄荷醇酯,更特别55-60%、尤其是55-57wt%的乳酸薄荷醇酯。
本发明的溶液可以通过将乳酸薄荷醇酯和薄荷醇甲酰胺合并并且将这些化合物溶解在一种或多种适宜的溶剂、特别是一种或多种本文所提及的优选的溶剂中来形成。方便地,首先将乳酸薄荷醇酯固体在约40-50℃下液化或熔融。可以将薄荷醇甲酰胺(其通常是以细粉的形式商购)直接溶解在液化的乳酸薄荷醇酯中。之后,将合并的乳酸薄荷醇酯/薄荷醇甲酰胺在适宜的搅拌条件下溶解于溶剂中,形成储存稳定的溶液。
或者,本发明的溶液通过将薄荷醇甲酰胺溶解在溶剂中,之后将液化的乳酸薄荷醇酯与薄荷醇甲酰胺溶液在适宜的搅拌条件下合并,形成储存稳定的溶液。
如本文上面所述,本发明的溶液是以液体形式提供的,显出良好的储存稳定性,有很少或者没有沉淀。这使得溶液容易在不同湿度和温度条件下储存,例如约4℃至25℃,优选至20℃,并且还使得它们容易操纵或配制至所有形式的食品、口腔护理产品或化妆品中。因此,本发明的溶液非常适宜用于与食品、口腔护理产品和化妆品掺混,从而生产具有合意清凉效果的产品。
因此,本发明的再一个方面是涉及一种改进乳酸薄荷醇酯的溶解性的方法,所述方法是通过将乳酸薄荷醇酯液化并且将液化的乳酸薄荷醇酯与薄荷醇甲酰胺和溶剂合并。
此外,出人意料地发现,本文所教导的合并的乳酸薄荷醇酯和薄荷醇甲酰胺溶液的清凉效果常常不仅仅是相加性的。意想不到地发现,当将本发明的溶液由受训专家小组在感观评价方面针对单独的乳酸薄荷醇酯或薄荷醇甲酰胺化合物进行测试时,常常观察到协调清凉效果。这种出人意料的效果在以下所示的实施例中有更完整的描述。
本发明的再一个方面是一种食品、口腔护理产品或化妆品,其中添加有根据本发明第一个方面制备的溶液。这种食品、口腔护理产品或化妆品可以通过任何可用的方法用本发明的溶液来提供,例如,通过将有用量的本发明溶液简单地添加至或者混合入食品、口腔护理产品或化妆品中。
本发明的溶液可以应用于各种各样的食品或口腔护理产品中,例如牙膏,漱口水,口香糖,糖食以及饮料。本发明的溶液还可以应用于化妆品中,例如用于局部施用的产品,如剃须用乳液、泡沫、霜膏、凝胶、剃须后用品、洗发水、沐浴用凝胶、泡泡浴和其它已知用于局部用的组合物。
对于在食品和口腔护理产品中使用而言,本发明溶液的使用量可以是足以使合并的乳酸薄荷醇酯和薄荷醇甲酰胺的量达到约0.01-1wt%,优选0.06-0.5%,更优选约0.06-0.45wt%,以食品或口腔护理产品的总重量计。对于在化妆品中使用而言,本发明溶液的使用量可以是足以使合并的乳酸薄荷醇酯和薄荷醇甲酰胺的量达到约0.01-10wt%,以化妆品的总重量计。然而,应当理解的是,本领域技术人员可以使用超出前述范围的本发明的溶液,来达到尽可能合意的感观效果。
以下实施例举例说明了本发明的各个方面。
实施例1
将57重量份的乳酸薄荷醇酯加温至40-50℃,以便液化乳酸薄荷醇酯。将14重量份的薄荷醇甲酰胺混入液化的乳酸薄荷醇酯中。之后,将乳酸薄荷醇酯/薄荷醇甲酰胺混合物添加至29重量份的丙二醇(USP)中,以便形成乳酸薄荷醇酯和薄荷醇甲酰胺在丙二醇中的溶液。
将该溶液冷却并且储存。没有观察到沉淀。
实施例2
使用18重量份的薄荷醇甲酰胺、55重量份的乳酸薄荷醇酯和27重量份的丙二醇(USP),进行实施例1的过程。获得溶液,该溶液当冷却并储藏时不产生沉淀物。
对比实施例1
为显示乳酸薄荷醇酯在溶剂中沉淀,生产乳酸薄荷醇酯的50wt%的溶液:首先将乳酸薄荷醇酯加热至40℃-50℃使其熔融,之后将其与合适量的丙二醇(USP)混合。冷却后,观察到有乳酸薄荷醇酯细沉淀物。
实施例3
使用5重量份的薄荷醇甲酰胺、65重量份的乳酸薄荷醇酯和30重量份的含10wt%水的乙醇溶液,进行实施例1的过程。获得溶液,该溶液当冷却并储藏时不产生沉淀物。
对比实施例2
为显示乳酸薄荷醇酯在溶剂中沉淀,生产乳酸薄荷醇酯的60wt%的溶液:首先将乳酸薄荷醇酯加热至40℃-50℃使其熔融,之后将其与合适量的含10wt%水的乙醇溶液混合。在电冰箱中冷却过夜后,观察到有乳酸薄荷醇酯细沉淀物。
实施例4
为评价实施例1和2的溶液作为清凉剂的性能,请10人组成的受训专家小组进行感观测试。要求受训专家按零至一百的线型标准评判在某些时段的清凉效果的强度。受训专家将含有实施例1(0.65wt%,以牙膏的总量计)和实施例2(0.45wt%,以牙膏的总量计)制剂的牙膏放在他们的口中保持90秒,然后吐出并且漱清。受训专家记录在漱洗(时间0)时、30s、60s、90s、2min、3min、4min、5min、10min、15min、20min、25min和30min时的清凉感觉。
含有实施例1或实施例2生产的溶液的牙膏,其效果都强于只含乳酸薄荷醇酯或只含薄荷醇甲酰胺的牙膏。

Claims (13)

1、一种乳酸薄荷醇酯溶液的制备方法,其中乳酸薄荷醇酯的最终浓度高于通过将乳酸薄荷醇酯溶解在净溶剂中可达到的浓度,所述方法包括:
a)将乳酸薄荷醇酯液化,和
b)将液化的乳酸薄荷醇酯与薄荷醇甲酰胺和溶剂合并。
2、权利要求1的方法,其中将薄荷醇甲酰胺添加至液化的乳酸薄荷醇酯中,然后将此液体混合物溶解于溶剂中。
3、权利要求1的方法,其中首先将薄荷醇甲酰胺溶解在溶剂中,然后将此溶液与液化的乳酸薄荷醇酯混合。
4、前述权利要求任一项的方法,其中溶剂选自辛基十二醇,双丙二醇,丙二醇,甘油三酯,肉豆蔻酸异丙酯,橄榄油,杏仁油,月桂酸己酯和乙醇。
5、通过前述权利要求任一项的方法制备的溶液,主要由溶解在溶剂中的乳酸薄荷醇酯和薄荷醇甲酰胺组成。
6、主要由溶解在溶剂中的乳酸薄荷醇酯和薄荷醇甲酰胺组成的溶液,其特征在于乳酸薄荷醇酯的最终浓度高于通过将乳酸薄荷醇酯单独溶于溶剂中可达到的浓度。
7、权利要求5或6的溶液,其中溶剂是丙二醇。
8、权利要求7的溶液,其中丙二醇的存在量为总溶液的25-30wt%。
9、权利要求5或6的溶液,其中乳酸薄荷醇酯的存在量为总溶液的50-60wt%。
10、权利要求5或6的溶液,其中薄荷醇甲酰胺的存在量为总溶液的10-20wt%。
11、一种含有权利要求5-10任一项所定义的溶液的食品或口腔护理或化妆组合物。
12、一种改进乳酸薄荷醇酯的溶解性的方法,包括以下步骤:
c)将乳酸薄荷醇酯液化;和
d)将液化的乳酸薄荷醇酯与薄荷醇甲酰胺和溶剂合并。
13、一种主要由溶解于溶剂中的乳酸薄荷醇酯和薄荷醇甲酰胺组成的溶液。
