Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种图象记录与生成设备。
背景技术
本申请人已经开发出一种打印头组件,可以打印分辨率达1600dpi的图象。进一步地说,本申请人所开发出的打印头组件具有相对较小的尺寸,可以集成在一个如美国专利申请US 09/113,053中所描述的照相机设备中。
关于这种打印头组件的详细内容可以在美国专利申请US09/113,053中找到。此种打印头组件尺寸相对较小在很大程度上归因于美国专利申请US 09/425,419中的一种喷墨打印头的发明。
所述喷墨打印头使得本发明人能够开发出一种结构紧凑、可以直接和膝上型电脑或笔记本电脑上的一个PCMCIA插槽相连的便携式打印机。所述结构紧凑的便携式打印机是上面提到的美国专利中请US09/436,509的主题。
本申请人认为,提供一种可以生成上述高分辨率的图象并且图象尺寸与现有的袖珍相机相当的图象记录与生成装置或设备,是非常符合需要的。
发明内容
本发明提供一种图象记录与生成设备,包括:
一个打印装置,包括:
一个尺寸与PCMCIA存储卡相近的托架,打印介质可以装入所述托架中;
一个安装在所述托架中的、用于把图象打印在所述打印介质上的页宽打印头组件,所述页宽打印头组件包括至少一个打印头芯片和一个匹配的、用于控制所述打印头芯片运转的打印微处理器;
一个根据打印头组件运转的需要而设置的墨水供应装置,所述墨水供应装置用于向所述打印头组件供应墨水。
一个位于托架中的打印介质进给机构,用于把打印介质送至打印头芯片并传离打印头芯片;和
一个图象记录设备,包括:
一个其中装有所述托架的机架,给定所述机架的尺寸,为所述托架界定一个封套,使得所述托架至少有一半安装在机架中;
一个位于所述机架上的图象感测装置,用于于感测待打印的图象;和
一个位于所述机架中的图象感测微处理器,所述图象感测微处理器根据图象感测装置运转的需要设置,用于控制所述图象感测装置的运转;
其中:
所述打印装置和图象记录设备都具有辅助的可拆离的数据连接器,使得图象感测微处理器能够把图象数据传输给所述打印装置的打印微处理器。
下面,结合附图采用实例的方式对本发明进行描述。应该提出的是,下面的具体说明只是为了说明本发明的一个具体实施例,而不是限制前述总结的宽广范围。

具体实施方式
在附图中,标号10泛指本发明的用于记录和生成图象的设备;
所述设备10包括一个打印装置12。所述打印装置12有一个托架14,所述托架14的尺寸设置使得打印装置12的尺寸与一个PCMCIA存储卡的尺寸相近。具体的说,所述打印装置12的尺寸与一个PCMCIA III型存储卡的尺寸相近。我们知道,PCMCIA是为各种尺寸不同的PC卡设定参数的个人电脑存储卡国际协会(Personal Computer Memory CardInternational Association)的首字母缩写词。PCMCIA III型存储卡标准尺寸大致为长度86mm,宽度54mm,厚度11mm。
所述托架14包括一个加长的、大体上为矩形的支承结构16。所述支承结构16包括一个主体部分18,所述主体部分的一端有一个托盘20,与之相对的所述主体部分18的另一端有一个PCMCIA型连接器22。在所述托盘20上装有一个打印头组件24。所述打印头组件24包括一个横跨如标号28所指打印区域的打印头26。所述打印头组件24在图4中有较详细的描述。打印头26包括至少一个打印头芯片27,所述打印头芯片27是采用集成电路制造技术制造的。更进一步的,所述的每个打印头芯片在上述的美国专利申请US 09/425,419中进行了描述。
所述打印头26上安装有一个墨水分配装置30。所述墨水分配装置30在美国专利申请(案卷号YU140)中进行了描述,在此处加以引用。所示墨水分配装置30包括一个墨水存储与供给结构29,所述墨水存储与供给结构29与一个多路传输机构31相通。所述多路传输机构31与打印头芯片27通信,以便向打印头芯片27的喷嘴装置供应墨水。所示墨水存储与供给结构29包括一对外墨水贮存器33和两排位于外墨水贮存器33之间的墨水存储管路35。
所述多路传输机构31包括两排供应管路37。每个供应管路37与相应的存储管路35相通。如图4所示,墨水存储与供给结构29和多路传输机构31一起设定多个墨水供应通道,所述墨水供应通道在靠近打印头芯片27的区域逐渐减少。
所述打印头组件24包括安装在托盘20上的微处理器32形式的控制电路。匹配的微处理器在上述的美国专利申请US 09/113,053中有详细的描述。
所述打印头组件24还包括一个和齿轮箱36传动相连的电机34。电机的运转带动齿轮箱36的运转,也由微处理器32控制。一个主进给滚轮38安装在打印区域28的传进侧,与齿轮箱36相连,并由齿轮箱36驱动。在打印区域28的传出侧有一个次进给滚轮40。
所述支承结构16包括一个底盘42。所述底盘42包括一个进给板44,和一对相对的侧扣板46和一个位于其上的前扣板48。所述的侧扣板46用于扣住主体部分18的侧壁50和托盘20的前端52。
一对分开的定位夹54位于进给板44的尾部56,以与设定在PCMCIA型连接器22的每一边的辅助结构58相接合。
所述打印装置12包括一个可以安装在打印头组件24上的盖元件60,以保护打印头组件24。
一个储纸盒62形式的介质供应盒的可以安装在主体部分18上。储备的纸张64,其中一个以66标出,可以存放在储纸盒62中。所述储纸盒62包括一个背盘68,在使用中,储备的纸张64贴着背盘68放置。从背盘68的主体伸出两个侧壁70。在背盘68和侧壁70上安装有一个后盖78。更进一步,在背盘68和侧壁70上还安装有一个前盖80。从图2和图3可以看到,在背盘68的进给端82有一个定位夹84。所述的定位夹84的作用在于,在纸张66被从储备的纸张64处传送到打印区域28时,把储备的纸张64保持在储纸盒62中。
所述背盘设有一对加力元件86。所述的加力元件86是偏斜的,使得储备的纸张64放置在储纸盒62中时,储备的纸张64偏向进给板44。前盖80和盖元件60带有辅助接合结构88,所述辅助接合结构88使得储纸盒62可以与盖元件60接合。在此位置,主进给滚轮38夹紧纸张66,当主进给滚轮38旋转时,纸张66被送至打印区域28。盖元件60和托盘20一起界定一个出纸槽89,打印后的纸张从此槽传出。
在图11中示意性地指明了打印装置12的各种元件。可以看到,PCMCIA型连接器22通过一根匹配的数据总线90连接到微处理器32。所述数据总线90也用于连接微处理器32和打印头26。这样,通过PCMCIA型连接件22接收到的图象数据可以传输给微处理器32,微处理器32可以控制打印头26的运转,在纸张66上打印图象。
设备10还包括一个图象记录设备92。所述的图象记录设备92包括一个封套94形式的外壳,打印装置12装在所述封套94中一直到盖元件60处。从图中可以看到,打印装置12的大约三分之二位于封套94中。更进一步地,盖元件60和进给板44相应部分的尺寸在横向上与封套94的横向尺寸相匹配。因此,设备10的整体尺寸只比一个PCMCIA III型卡大1/3。这样,很容易理解此种尺寸的设备可以方便地放在外衣口袋中。
所述图象记录设备92带有置于其中的一个取景器96。所述取景器96包括一个目镜98,通过目镜98,使用者可以选定需要拍摄的图象。靠近目镜98有一个摄像机镜头100用于提供需要记录的聚焦后的图象。所述摄像机镜头100位于一个基于CMOS的图象传感装置的前面,在此实施例中,所述图象传感装置是一个主动式象素传感器102。
所述主动式象素传感器102通过一根匹配的数据总线106连接在一个微处理器104上。从图11可以容易地看出这些元件之间的相互连接关系。
所述数据总线106同时用于把所述主动式象素传感器102和一个存储设备108连接起来。
使用者通过以通常的方式按下拍照按键110,操作所述图象记录设备108。所述拍照按键110与微处理器104相连,按下拍照按键110,所述微处理器104向主动式象素传感器102发出一个控制信号,以拍摄所需图象。然后,此幅图象的数据被存储在存储设备108中。
使用者通过按下与打印微处理器32相连的打印按键120,操纵所述打印装置12。在按键120被按下时,所述微处理器32控制打印头组件24运转来打印已记录的图象。
所述图象记录设备操作的详细情况在美国专利申请US 09/113,053中有详细的描述,包括上述内容。因此,在本说明书中不再对图象记录设备的操作进行详细的描述。
所述图象记录设备92包括一个位于封套94上的附加的PCMCIA型连接器112,所述连接器112在打印装置12插入到图象记录设备92中时与PCMCIA型连接器22插接。
所述数据总线106也用于把微处理器104和存储设备108连接到附加的PCMCIA型连接器112,使得捕捉到的图象的数据能够被发送到打印装置12的微处理器32。
所述打印装置12和图象记录设备92都包括一个PCMCIA型连接接口124,以控制数据在PCMCIA型连接器22和112之间的传送。
由114所指代的、安装在封套94中的电池,为设备10中各种元件的运转提供能量。并设有一个电池盖116保护位于封套94中的电池114。封套94的较小的相对侧壁122中设有导向结构118。主体部分18的侧壁50安装在相应的导向结构118中,可以滑动,以便于打印装置12和图象记录设备92的相互连接。
本申请人相信通过本发明提供的方法,可以得到一种结构紧凑的图象记录设备,或者说一种集成了打印机的照相机。特别是,所述设备只比PCMCIA III型存储卡大百分之三十或四十左右。基于袖珍照相机受到普遍欢迎,本申请人相信这将是一个很大的优点。
Claims (9)
1.一种用于记录和生成图象的设备,所述设备包括:
一个打印装置,包括:
一个尺寸与PCMCIA存储卡相近的托架,打印介质可以装入所述托架中;
一个安装在托架中的、用于把图象打印在所述打印介质上的页宽打印机,所述页宽打印头组件包括至少一个打印头芯片和一个匹配的、用于控制所述打印头芯片运转的打印微处理器;
一个根据打印头组件运转的需要设置的墨水供应装置,所述墨水供应装置用于向打印头组件供应墨水;和
一个位于托架中的打印介质进给机构,所述打印介质进给机构用于把打印介质送至打印头芯片并传离打印头芯片;和
一个图象记录设备,包括:
一个其中装有所述托架的机架,给定所述机架的尺寸,为所述托架界定一个封套,使得所述托架至少有一半位于机架中;
一个位于所述机架上的图象传感装置,所述图象传感装置用于感测待打印的图象;和

2.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于:所述托架包括一个加长的、大体上为矩形的支承结构,在所述支承结构的一端安装有所述页宽打印头组件和所述的墨水供应机构,所述支承结构的端部和所述支承结构的保持部分之间安装有所述介质进给机构。
3.如权利要求2所述的设备,其特征在于:所述托架包括一个介质盒,所述介质盒以可拆离的方式安装在所述支承结构的保持部分上。
4.如权利要求3所述的设备,其特征在于:所述的介质盒用于容纳打印介质。
5.如权利要求4所述的设备,其特征在于:所述介质进给机构呈一个滚轮进给机构形式,其设置的作用是当所述介质盒位于所述支承结构上时夹紧最底下的一张打印介质。
6.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于:所述打印装置包括一根数据总线,所述数据总线把所述的打印装置的附加的数据连接器、打印微处理器、打印头组件和介质进给机构连接起来。
7.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于:所述图象传感装置是一个主动式象素传感器CMOS器件。
8.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于:所述图象记录设备包括一根数据总线,所述数据总线把所述的图象感测设备、图象传感微处理器和所述图象记录设备的附加的数据连接器连接起来。
9.如权利要求1所述的设备,其特征在于:所述图象记录设备和所述打印装置的数据连接器都是PCMCIA型连接器。
