Abstract

Description
发明背景
本申请是1997.12.5日以Eberle的名义提出的申请No.29/080237的部分继续申请。
发明领域
本发明涉及热装塑料容器,特别是在本体部分具有改进了的标答张贴区的这类容器。
相关技术说明
盛装“热装”饮料的吹塑塑料容器的应用是众所周知的。然而,且于热装用途的容器受附加机械应力的作用,导致容器储存或搬运中很可能毁坏。例如,已经发现在容器被充入热液时,容器的薄侧壁变形或毁坏。而且,热充液充入容器后容器刚度立即下降。液体冷却时,液体体积缩小,由此容器内又产生负压或真空。容器必须能经受这种压力变化而不毁坏。
如美国专利No.5337909所说明的,热装容器一般包括基本上是矩形的,设计成在容器被充满热液后内陷的真空条。然而,热装真空引起的真空条的内弯在压力真空条的顶和底边,尤其是在真空条的上和下角处形成高应力点。这些应力点削弱了靠近真空条边缘的侧壁部分,使侧壁在容器被搬运时或容器被堆放在一起时内陷。
美国专利No.5337909公开的热装容器有绕容器侧壁的周边连续延伸的环形加强筋。此文认为,加强筋在真空条的上和下边缘支持真空条,瓶充液时,在允许真空条中部内弯的同时紧固边缘,以及阻止由于容器充液和密封而在真空条内弯之后的真空条的变形。图5和6表示在标签上和下张贴板的边缘部加强筋与真空条的边缘合在一起的
实施例。
另一种有加强筋的热装容器公开了WO97/34808中。97/34808中说明的容器包括有上和下组周向分布的,短的,被标签张贴区末端分开的水平筋的标签张贴区。此文认为,每个上和下筋都位于标签张贴区内并且分别在区之一上或下对中。该容器还包括一些在毁坏条的角处也经受高应力点的矩形真空条。此文还说,筋强固了容器的毁坏条28的邻近的下角46。
本发明一个目的是提供一种热装吹塑塑料容器,这种容器具有改进了的真空条,这种真空条通过基本上消除其角部的应力点而将这些应力点减少到最少,由此达到低失效率。

发明概述
本发明提供一种适合热装应用的改进的吹塑塑料容器。在热装应用中,塑料容器被充满高于室温的液体,然后密封,因此液体冷却就造成容器内体积减小。本发明优选热装容器包括多个真空条,有基本上弯曲的上和下端,与相关技术中说明的基本上直的上和下端不同。本发明优选热装容器还包括新颖独特的真空条加强结构。真空条加强结构是多个弯曲筋。优选筋基本上相同,并且至少一组筋布置在标签张贴区真空条以上,和/或至少一组筋布置在标签张贴区中真空条以下。筋断续绕塑料容器本体的周边延伸以及被接合区相互分开。每个筋还与真空条分开并且在真空条之间的接合区对中。估选每个筋基本上都是弧形。
本发明热装瓶尤其适于将施加到真空条角上的应力减至最小以及在容器被充满热液时防弯。相关技术的真空条基本上直的上和下端在真空条角产生高应力,在容器储存或使用中频繁导致容器毁坏。本发明容器的新颖结构,包括真空条独特结构,与新颖的加强结构一起,在充液和冷却过程中条内弯时减小施加到真空条角上的应力,并且对条提供辅助支持以阻止由于容器密封而造成的弯曲和变形。容器的弧形筋也对真空条的上和下端提供辅助支持。此外,热装容器的新颖设计还保证标签张贴区有额外面积接受粘合剂或与缩包标签接触,从而改善将标签张贴到容器上的工艺。

优选实施例详细说明
根据本发明的薄壁容器用于盛装温度高于室温的液体。根据本发明,容器可由塑料如聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)或聚酯制成。容器优选吹塑而成。容器充装可由已知技术的自动高速热装设备进行。
参照附图,本发明优选实施例的容器总体用标号10表示,示于图1,一般具有多项熟知的热装瓶的特点。容器10直立放置时,有垂直纵轴线40。容器包括可盖住的、用于倒入倒出液体的颈12。颈12也可封严。优选容器还包括底16以及在颈12下但在底16上的至少一个肩14。优选本发明容器同时包括横截面基本为圆形、连接肩14和底16的本体18。优选容器的本体具有位于上标签杠50和下标签杠52之间的标签张贴区20。标签可用专业技术人员熟知的包括收缩包合和粘合方法固定到标签张贴区。张贴时,标签遍布整个容器本体。
优选容器标签张贴区包括多个相同的、间隔的垂直细长真空条22。真空条使瓶随热液的注入而内弯,密封,然后冷却。尽管通常优选用6个真空条,但条的数目是可以改变的。优选真空条基本上是椭圆形,同时具有上弯端24,下弯端28,大致直侧边26和26a以及上、下端中间的面部38。优选真空条的上下端基本上为拱形。真空条被接合区36相互隔开。真空条的上端与上标签杠50(或上标签张贴区)分开,真空条的下端与下标签杠52(或下标签张贴区)分开。一旦标签张贴到容器上,真空条就被标签覆盖。
优选容器的标签张贴区还包括用来在容器充满热液后对相邻的真空条提供支持的加强结构。加强结构包括多个弯曲筋,优选至少一组上和/或下弧形筋42。优选多个,或更优选一组筋布置于真空条上端和上标签杠之间的上标签张贴区。其余的筋,或另一组筋布置于真空条下端和下标签杠之间的下标签张贴区。每个筋绕容器本体周向纵向延伸并且被接合区58与邻近的筋分开。这些筋还分别与真空条的上、下端分开,且其位置靠近接合区36。优选这些筋居中,以便弧形筋的顶点对准接合区36的中心。每组筋都不是连在一起的,即它们互不接触。它们也不形成绕容器本体的环。
如图1所示,在优选实施例中,有6个真空条,6个接合区36,6个上弧形筋和6个下弧形筋。当然,尽管优选每个筋的长度和形状与组内其它筋的基本相同,但弧形筋的数目是可以改变的。
如图2所示,优选筋具有大致半圆形断面并且可径向朝向长轴线40内或外(离开长轴线40),优选径向朝向内。在优选实施例中及如图1所示,至少筋的一部分形状基本上与邻近的真空条的至少一部分的形状相同。所以,每组筋的形状大致呈裙状花边样。
对于如图4所示的具有大约72mm外径的20盎司的塑料容器,标签区垂直长大约96mm,真空条垂直长大约75mm。
如图4所示,每个弧形筋的断面半径约为1.8mm。每个弧形筋断面深约1mm。每个弧形筋从一端到另一端长约为32.2mm。弧形筋宽,即筋顶边到底边的尺寸约为4mm。
如图4所示,对于上面一组筋,每个弧形筋的端部与上杠区的上边分开约3.5mm。对于下面一组筋,每个弧形筋的端部与下杠区的下边分开约3.5mm。弧形顶到邻近杠区的边的距离是约15.7mm。真空条与弧形筋之间的间隙约是2.5mm。
每个弧形筋的中心或顶位于距邻近的弧形筋的中心或顶约38mm处。从一个筋的一端到邻近的筋的一端的弧形筋之间的距离(即接合区58的长度)约是5.9mm。
当然,本发明弯筋可采用许多不同形式。例如,弯筋可以基本上是圆形、马蹄形、矢形、S形、三叶形、三心拱形或都德式拱形或类似形状的。弧的顶点或中心的半径也可改变。例如,半径可在大于大约10到小于大约100mm之间变化,优选在约10到50mm之间变化,甚至更优选在10到30mm间变化。
以上说明是仅通过举例给出的,而加强筋的尺寸随容器尺寸改变,并且与容器尺寸从容器10的给定尺寸的增大成比例地从给定值增大。
在优选实施例中,弧形筋之间接合区58的高度基本上与真空条之间接合区36的高度相同,并且基本上与位于中间面部38的高度也相同。这是为了在张贴标签过程中,给接受和粘合标签提供附加区域。
这样,本发明提供了具有改进了的真空条和阻止变形的加强筋的热装瓶。热装瓶的新颖结构将真空条局部应力点减到了最少。这个优点通过为容器提供标签张贴区获得,标签张贴区具有基上是弧形(与基本上直的相反)的上下端的真空条,配合基本上也是弧形的加强筋。本发明热装容器的新结构赋予了真空条额外的抗弯和抗变形性,因此,将容器储存和使用中毁坏的可能减到最小。
当然,尽管与本发明的结构和功能的详细说明一起,本发明的多项特性和优点在上文中已被列出,但以上内容仅是示例性的,而详细可有变化,尤其是在构成部分的形状、尺寸、和布置方面,在本发明原理之内,由所附权利要求表达广义的变化。
Claims (20)
1.一种用于盛装液体的薄壁、可热装的塑料容器,先热态充液,然后密封,容器有纵轴线并且包括:
可盖严的颈,
颈下的至少一个肩,
底,
连接肩和底且具有标签张贴区的本体,
标签张贴区包括多个分开的垂直细长真空条,这些真空条具有上端和下端以及在该上和下端中间的面部,相邻的真空条通过位于其间的第一接合区被相互分开,真空条的上端同上标签张贴区分开,真空条的下端同下标签张贴区分开,
上述标签张贴区还包括多个弧形筋,该弧形筋断续地遍布于上述本体周边并且被第二接合区相互分开,且与上述真空条分开,它们的位置紧接上述第一接合区。
2.根据权利要求1的容器,其特征在于,每个筋都径向朝内。
3.根据权利要求1的容器,其特征在于,每个筋都径向朝外。
4.根据权利要求1的容器,其特征在于,上述筋的至少一部分的形状基本上与邻近的真空条的至少一部分的形状相同。
5.根据权利要求1的容器,其特征在于,上述标签张贴区包括上组筋和下组筋并且其中每组筋的形状都基本上是裙状花边样。
6.根据权利要求1的容器,其特征在于,上述筋的断面基本上是半圆形的。
7.根据权利要求1的容器,其特征在于,上述筋之间的上述第二接合区的高度基本上与上述真空条之间的上述第一接合区的高度以及位于上述中间面部的高度相同,这样就为张贴标签提供了额外的区域。
8.根据权利要求1的容器,其特征在于,真空条基本上是椭圆形的。
