技术领域
本发明一般地涉及照明系统。本发明更特别地涉及一种光变换器件,其提供了一个精确确定的光分布模式,例如那些用于导航、障碍物指示和其他的信号光源的光分布模式。
背景技术
目前,照明系统被用于在道路和机场滑行道和跑道路线上标识障碍物和拐弯。例如,机场使用照明系统来为进场和滑行的飞机提供指引。数千的卤素灯泡被用在机场。不幸的是,这些灯泡需要太多的电力。

优选实施例
图1为根据一个实施例的集成全向光变换器100的一个典型的透视图。集成全向光变换器100可以包括光学窗110和支座120。光学窗110可以包括全向窗或任何其他传输光的装置,例如透镜、漫射器或敞开区域。在工作时,当希望以360度的模式将光散布出光变换器100时,光变换器100可以是所示的圆形。其他的形状和各种遮光框可以被用来实现不同的光分布模式。例如,为了使光仅通过光变换器100的一部分散布出去,光学窗110的一部分可以被遮蔽。

图13为用于通过控制器1050设计光变换器的典型的流程图的示意图。在步骤1405,控制器1050接收初始数据。该初始数据可以包括最小角,最大角,和相对于光源的光变换器的初始设计点(AO)的位置或距离。在步骤1410,控制器1050在输入最小和最大角的基础上计算非球面反射面常数。在步骤1415,控制器1050为设计流程设定初始点和角度。在步骤1420,控制器1050计算光变换器的反射面的局部角。在步骤1425,控制器1050计算沿着光变换器的反射面的下一个点的坐标。在步骤1430,控制器1050计算光变换器的反射面的反射角中的差值。在步骤1435,控制器1050为光变换器的反射面设置新的点。在步骤1440,控制器1050确定计算所得的反射角是否大于所接收的最小角。如果所计算的反射角不大于所接收的最小角,则控制器1050返回到步骤1420。如果所计算的反射角大于所接收的最小角,则控制器1050前进到步骤1445。在步骤1445,控制器1050输出光变换器的反射面的最终设计。在步骤1450,流程图结束。
本方法图示说明了控制器1050如何设计一个具有预定光分布模式的光变换器。因此,控制器1050基于所接收的该光变换器的一部分的位置,根据所接收的最大和最小输出角,迭代计算光变换器上反射光源所提供的光线的点。
在一些情况中,当单源的光强分布不能提供足够的照明以满足理想的要求时,就可以实施如上述图5所示的具有多个光源的替代设计。图14(a)-(c)为一个系统1500的典型的示意图,该系统通过垂直面中精确预定的光强分布提供水平面中的全向的照明模式。多个等同的光源1510在水平面(XOY)构成一个圆形的阵列,并被环形精密光学变换器1520所包围。该变换器1520被设计来提供水平面强度分布的最小影响和垂直平面中预定的精确的强度分布。例如,图14(b)图示说明了变换器如何提供从输入光的β角到输出光的β’角的强度分布的截面图,其中β/2和β’/2分别代表β和β’的一半。
图14(c)说明了如何通过迭加单独的出射模式α’1,α’2,α’3等的方法生成水平模式。当为特定的光源1510给出理想的角强度分布时,选择光源1510的数目和它们相对位置以提供一个具有预定的非均一性的水平包络成为可能。图15(a)和(b)分别为照明系统1500的所得的包络和迭加的强度分布模式的典型的示意图。图15(a)和(b)图示说明了以间隔相等的36°角放置的10盏LED的例子,这种放置提供了±5%非均一性的包络。

图17为一个用于高架的全向照明器的光学变换器的典型的示意图。该照明器可以包括光源1810,输入面1820,反射面1830和光通道1840。该光源1810可以位于与输入面1820距离d的位置。此外,输入面可以是以R为半径的半球面。另外,反射面1830可以根据图9-14所揭示的方法进行设计。
在工作时,光源1810可以通过输入面1820传输光。该输入面1820可以用全内反射的方法引导光通过光通道1840到达反射面1830。该反射面1830可以根据特定的分布模式反射光。例如,该反射面1830可以反射在角α’的光,其中α’位于α’min和α’max之间。此外,该反射面可以用类似于在图3中所示的半嵌入全向照明器300的方式反射光。
本发明的方法最好在编程处理器上实现。但是,该方法也可以在通用或专用目的计算机、编程微处理器或微控制器和外部集成电路元素,ASIC或其他集成电路,硬件电子或逻辑电路诸如离散元件电路,可编程逻辑器件,如PLD,PLA,FPGA或PAL等等。一般说来,任何在其上驻留能够实现如图所示的流程图的有限状态机(finite state machine)的器件可以用来实现本发明的处理器的功能。
虽然本发明通过其一些具体的实施例进行说明,但是很多替代、改进和变化对于本领域的技术人员是清楚的。因此,这里所提出的本发明的最优实施例意欲于说明性,而不是限制性的。可以进行不同的不背离本发明的精神和范围的改进。

Claims (1)

1.一种光变换器,用于以低散射度的预定模式或与一个光的方向轴平行地导向和重新分布来自光源的光,包括:
从光源接收光的第一侧;
输出所接收的光的第二侧,所述第二侧位于该光变换器与所述第一侧相对的一侧;
位于该光变换器的在所述第一侧和所述第二侧之间的第三侧的第一构件,其中所述第一构件具有包含全内反射面的外部壁,所述全内反射面在向所述第二侧的方向上再导向并重新分布所接收的光;
位于所述第一构件的一侧的第一平面光学窗,所述第一平面光学窗垂直于所述光的方向轴;
位于该光变换器的第四侧的第二构件,所述第四侧位于该光变换器上与所述第三侧相对的一侧,在所述第一侧与所述第二侧之间,所述第二构件具有包含全内反射面的外部壁,所述全内反射面在向所述第二侧的方向上再导向并重新分布所接收的光;
位于所述第二构件的一侧的第二平面光学窗,所述第二平面光学窗垂直于所述光的方向轴,所述第二平面光学窗在所述光的方向轴的对面与所述第一平面光学窗对称;和
位于所述第一和第二构件之间的非球面透镜,所述非球面透镜具有在该光变换器的所述第一侧上的输入侧和在该光变换器的所述第二侧上的输出侧,所述非球面透镜的输出侧位于所述第一和第二平面光学窗之间。
