Abstract
本发明揭示一种双重光学器件条形码读出装置,包括设置成角度的第1和第2窗口,用于第1窗口的第1成象器和用于第2窗口的第2成象器,和用于将光从窗口间的读区域中的条形码直射到第1和第2成象器中的第1和第2光学器件,2个成象器的每1个都获得读区域中的条形码的图像。
Description
(1)技术领域
本发明涉及利用在狭槽(slot)或者图像(presentation)模式扫描器中的成象器(imager),进行例如条形码那样的数据形式的读出。
(2)背景技术
用成象器读出条形码已知有例如美国专利5,319,181号公开的例如电荷耦合探测器(CCD)阵列或者CMOS传感器那样的成象器,该专利作为参考引入于此。这种成象器也称为摄像机、传感器等。
建议从2个不同的视点对同一个条形码使用2个成象器,能提高对捕捉为成象器中的图像的条形码进行解码的速度和可靠性。
而且,虽然2维条形码的使用不断增加,但在市场上现在还没有图像或狭槽扫描器,这种图像或狭槽扫描器能用于从包装品的两边读出2维条形码。
(3)发明内容
本发明的主要目的是改善当前使用的狭槽扫描器。
本发明的另一个目的是提供双重光学器件(bioptics)读出装置,这种读出装置使用能时序或平行地处理信号的区域传感器摄像机读出条形码,并能取出和存储1维图像以及通过去除任何运动的部分增加系统的可靠性。
按照本发明,前述目的能通过由位于双重光学器件扫描器或者读出器内的2个或多个区域成象器用下述的方法达到。这种方法中其视野覆盖条形码存在或者能由成象器看见识别文件的3维空间。还能通过安装在操作人员的前面使用液晶显示器或其它传统的显示器,以便操作人员能实时看见摄像机的视图。此外,能将照明灯安装在狭槽扫描器的内部,以便能对于最深的聚焦深度优化摄像机或成象器的数值狭槽径。
本发明的另一个目的是提供狭槽或图像模式的双重光学器件扫描器或读出装置,这种双重光学器件扫描器或读出装置能读出1维和2维条形码。
为达到前述目的,根据本发明,对于单个图像传感器使用2个相互成为角度透明扫描表面或者窗口、2个固定的反射镜和1个活动反射镜。图像传感器以隔行扫描的图像传感器为佳,但也可以使用其它的图像传感器,只要其中1个能将光电探测器露出在1帧的2个分开的时间上。
根据本发明,则在位置间移动反射镜,露出图像传感器的偶半帧,以获得面向水平扫描表面的封装一侧的图像。当反射镜位于第2个位置时,露出图像传感器的奇半帧,以获得面向垂直扫描表面的图像。这使得扫描器的一帧具有包装品的2个不同侧面的视图。一旦获得此图像,就能对条形码和图像进行定位和解码。为了提高操作速度,其中能在另一个正在读出时对某个奇半帧或者偶半帧开始解码,或者能同时处理2个。目前包装品的传送速度是每秒50英寸,但是通过优化系统的硬件和软件能够达到更高的速度。
本发明提供一种用于电光学方式读出目标上的条码符号的读出装置,包括:a)第1透光固定窗和第2透光固定窗,互相成角度地配置,当读出时,使带有待读出符号的目标相对于第1透光固定窗和第2透光固定窗移动;b)第1成像系统,包括第1照明器、第1固定反射镜和第1二维成像器,第1照明器用于把通过第1透光固定窗的光照射到所述符号上,所述第1固定反射镜用于光学方式反射来自在第1方向上通过第1窗的符号的光,第1二维成像器具有多个传感器,用于根据第1固定反射镜反射的光对全部符号进行第1二维图像的成像;以及c)第2成像系统,包括第2照明器、第2固定反射镜和第2二维成像器,第2照明器用于把通过第2透光固定窗的光照射到所述符号上、第2固定反射镜用于光学方式反射来自在第2方向上通过第2窗的符号的光,第2二维成像器具有多个传感器,用于根据第2固定反射镜反射的光对全部符号进行第2二维图像的成像;d)其中每个照明器发出光,途中通过各固定反射镜到各窗;以及e)其中所述第1和第2二维图像具有相同的全部符号,只是由通过不同的且互成角度的所述第1和第2方向的光所反射的。
本发明还提供一种用于电光学方式读出目标上的条码符号的读出装置,包括:a)第1透光固定窗和第2透光固定窗,互相成角度地配置,当读出时,带有待读出符号的目标相对于固定窗移动;b)第1固定反射镜,用于光学方式反射来自第1方向上通过第1窗的符号的光;c)第2固定反射镜,用于光学方式反射来自第2方向上通过第2窗的符号的光;d)共用反射镜,可移动于第1位置和第2位置之间;以及e)具有多个传感器的共用二维成像器,用来根据第1固定反射镜反射的光并由处于第1位置上的反射镜对准所述成像器对全部符号进行第1二维图像的成像,以及根据第2固定反射镜反射的光并由处于第2位置上的反射镜对准所述成像器对全部符号进行第2二维图像的成像;f)其中所述第1和第2二维图像具有相同的全部符号,只是由通过不同的且互成角度的所述第1和第2方向的光所反射的;以及g)其中第1和第2二维图像包含在由成像器产生的一帧的不同图像行中,其中第1二维像包含在偶数图像行中,而第2二维像包含在奇数图像行中。
参照附图和以下的详细描述,能更详细地理解本发明的前述和其它的特征。

(5)具体实施方式
下面,参照附图1和2对本发明的双重光学器件扫描器的实施形态1进行说明。
实施形态1
在狭槽和/或图像模式扫描器中,有2个成为角度的窗口1和2。虽然,在图1中窗口1和2成90°,但也可以是其它的角度。在图1中,窗口1是水平窗口,窗口2是垂直窗口。但是,使用其它的方向也在本发明的范围内。
在窗口1和2的后面分别有对于反射镜5和6定位的2维阵列摄像机3和4,以便它们的视场覆盖3维目标上存在条形码B的、或者存在识别文件例如票证的3维空间。反射镜5和6是分别将光从条形码B反射到成象器3和4上的固定反射镜。
为了改善成象器3和4的聚焦深度,将照明灯露出在窗口的后面,并分别有选择地利用聚光器9和10。反射镜5和6是分光镜,使得来自光源7和8的光能够通过并使从条形码返回的光反射到摄像机或者成象器3和4。通过使用照明灯,摄像机具有它们优化的数值狭槽径,以便获得最大聚焦深度。
在本发明较佳的实施形态中,成象器具有LCD或者其它传统的显示器11和12,以便操作人员能分别看见摄像机或者成象器3和4的视图。
将成象器3和4的输出还连接到解码器13上,这种解码器13能处理来自时序的或者平行的2个成象器的信号。借助于2个相同的电路并且每个用于1个成象器,解码器能平行地进行解码。
实施形态2
图3说明本发明的另一个实施形态,其中2个窗口21和22具有2个相应的固定反射镜23和24和1个成象器26。将活动反射镜25设置在反射镜23和24之间,并能在图3所示的标记A和B的2个位置之间活动。将成象器26的输出馈送到解码器27。
下面参照图4对图3所示的实施形态的动作进行说明。成象器26最好是隔行扫描的具有偶半帧、例如线2,4,6,8,10和奇半帧、例如线1,3,5,7,9的图像传感器。当反射镜位于A时,成象器的偶半帧露出,得到面向水平扫描窗口21的包装品的一侧图像。当反射镜位于B时,成象器26的奇半帧露出,得到面向垂直扫描窗口22的包装品的图像。其结果,在1个扫描帧中具有包装品的2个不同侧面的视图。
一旦得到图像,条形码和图像就被定位并由解码器27解码。为了提高动作的速度,如图4所示,可以在读出另一个时开始解码1个特殊的半帧(奇或偶)。本发明包装品的传送速度是每秒50英寸,但是通过优化硬件和软件能够达到更高的速度。
可以理解前述的实施形态仅用于说明,并不限定本发明的范围。只要不脱离本发明精神和范围,本领域的技术人员可以进行各种改变、变化、重新设置和修改。
Claims (10)
1.一种用于电光学方式读出目标上的条码符号的读出装置,其特征在于,包括:
a)第1透光固定窗(1)和第2透光固定窗(2),互相成角度地配置,当读出时,使带有待读出符号的目标相对于第1透光固定窗和第2透光固定窗移动;
b)第1成像系统,包括第1照明器(7)、第1固定反射镜(5)和第1二维成像器(3),第1照明器(7)用于把通过第1透光固定窗(1)的光照射到所述符号上,所述第1固定反射镜(5)用于光学方式反射来自在第1方向上通过第1窗的符号的光,第1二维成像器(3)具有多个传感器,用于根据第1固定反射镜反射的光对全部符号进行第1二维图像的成像;以及
c)第2成像系统,包括第2照明器(8)、第2固定反射镜(6)和第2二维成像器(4),第2照明器(8)用于把通过第2透光固定窗(2)的光照射到所述符号上、第2固定反射镜(6)用于光学方式反射来自在第2方向上通过第2窗的符号的光,第2二维成像器(6)具有多个传感器,用于根据第2固定反射镜反射的光对全部符号进行第2二维图像的成像;
d)其中每个照明器(7,8)发出光,途中通过各固定反射镜(5,6)到各窗(1,2);以及
e)其中所述第1和第2二维图像具有相同的全部符号,只是由通过不同的且互成角度的所述第1和第2方向的光所反射的。
2.如权利要求1所述的读出装置,其特征在于,
每个二维成像器(3,4)都是沿互相正交的行和列延伸的电荷耦合器件阵列。
3.如权利要求1所述的读出装置,其特征在于,
每个成像系统包括一显示器(11,12),用于显示各二维图像。
4.如权利要求1所述的读出装置,其特征在于,
包括一连接到所述第1和第2成像系统的解码器(13),用于处理各二维图像。
5.如权利要求4所述的读出装置,其特征在于,
所述解码器(13)顺序地处理所述第1和第2图像。
6.如权利要求4所述的读出装置,其特征在于,
所述解码器(13)同时地处理所述第1和第2图像。
7.一种用于电光学方式读出目标上的条码符号的读出装置,其特征在于,包括:
a)第1透光固定窗(21)和第2透光固定窗(22),互相成角度地配置,当读出时,带有待读出符号的目标相对于固定窗(21,22)移动;
b)第1固定反射镜(23),用于光学方式反射来自第1方向上通过第1窗(21)的符号的光;
c)第2固定反射镜(24),用于光学方式反射来自第2方向上通过第2窗(22)的符号的光;
d)共用反射镜(25),可移动于第1位置和第2位置之间;以及
e)具有多个传感器的共用二维成像器(26),用来根据第1固定反射镜(23)反射的光并由处于第1位置上的反射镜(25)对准所述成像器(26)对全部符号进行第1二维图像的成像,以及根据第2固定反射镜(24)反射的光并由处于第2位置上的反射镜(25)对准所述成像器(26)对全部符号进行第2二维图像的成像;
f)其中所述第1和第2二维图像具有相同的全部符号,只是由通过不同的且互成角度的所述第1和第2方向的光所反射的;以及
g)其中第1和第2二维图像包含在由成像器(26)产生的一帧的不同图像行中,其中第1二维像包含在偶数图像行中,而第2二维像包含在奇数图像行中。
8.如权利要求7所述的读出装置,其特征在于,
成像器(26)是沿互相正交的行和列延伸的电荷耦合器件阵列。
9.如权利要求7所述的读出装置,其特征在于,
包括解码器(27),用于顺序地处理所述第1和第2图像。
