技术领域
本发明涉及平面型液晶显示器(LCD)设备的背后照明部件,具体涉及一种LCD设备的背后照明部件,用来防止从灯发射的光不经过一个片而漏入液晶板。
背景技术
通常,和阴极射线管(CRT)相比,作为一种平面显示器的液晶显示器(LCD)设备具有优秀的视觉感受,在和CRT同样尺寸的情况下消耗的功率少很多,并且产生的热量也显著减少。在这方面,LCD作为用于蜂窝电话、计算机监视器和带有等离子显示板(PDP)和场致发射显示器(FED)的电视接收机的下一代显示设备已经得到人们特别的关注。
LCD设备包括具有经特殊处理的表面的两个薄玻璃衬底,和在玻璃衬底之间注入的液晶,液晶处于固态和液态之间的状态。同时,液晶分子的排列根据在玻璃衬底上形成的电极之间的电势差而改变,这样在显示板上产生亮和暗,从而显示图像。在上述LCD中,在其上显示字符的显示板并不由自己发射光,这样需要另外的诸如灯之类的光源来观察显示板上显示的字符。
通常,构成了诸如笔记本电脑的便携式计算机的LCD设备的LCD组件包括在其后部作为光源的背后照明部件。
如图1到图3所示,LCD组件具有液晶板10、背后照明部件20和金属机壳30。
此时,液晶板10输出一个图像。然后,用来将光发射到液晶板10的背后照明部件20具有在液晶板10的后部的下和上散射片(diffusion sheets)26和29以及下和上棱柱片(prism sheets)27和28、光导板24、反射片25、灯22、围绕灯22的金属反射板23,以及用来支撑各个部件的由合成树脂制成的矩形模制框架21。矩形金属机壳30固定和支持液晶板10和背后照明部件20的各个角。
在现有技术的LCD组件的背后照明部件中,下散射片26位于在光导板24上形成的多个散射片中的最低层。由于加工步骤之间的热伸展或间隔,下散射片26可能稍微和金属反射板23的边缘隔开一定距离,这样在下散射片26和金属反射板23和/或模制框架21之间产生缝隙“t”。因此,如果光从缝隙“t”泄漏,在液晶板10的底部的边缘中产生白线。
当外力碰撞LCD设备时,这些片向一侧倾斜,使得光的泄漏恶化。
因此,如图1所示,沿着上散射片29的边缘印制了黑色基质29a,以防止光从散射片和金属反射板23或模制框架21之间的缝隙泄漏。在另一方式中,如图2所示,在上散射片29和上棱柱片28之间插入一个衬垫40,以防止光从缝隙“t”泄漏。
然而,上述方法具有如下问题。
首先,如果在上散射片29上形成黑色基质29a以防止光从缝隙“t”泄漏,将使制造过程步骤复杂。
同样,如果在上散射片和上棱柱片之间插入一个衬垫40以防止光从缝隙“t”泄漏,将增加LCD设备的厚度。
发明内容
因此,本发明致力于LCD设备的背后照明部件,它实质上消除了由于现有技术的限制和缺点造成的一个或多个问题。
本发明的一个目的是提供LCD设备的液晶板的背后照明部件,通过简单的处理步骤能防止光的泄漏。
本发明的其它特征和优点将在以下的说明书中给出,部分地可以从说明书中理解,或者可以通过本发明的实践获得。通过说明书和权利要求以及附图中特别指出的结构可以实现和获得本发明的目的和其它优点。
为了实现这些和其它优点并根据本发明的目的,如所实施和广义说明的,根据本发明的用来给液晶板的整个表面发射光的液晶显示器(LCD)设备的背后照明部件包括:矩形模制框架,安装在模制框架的一侧上用来发射光的灯,安装在模制框架上具有灯的一侧上用来围绕灯的一部分的金属反射板,与模制框架上的灯平行安装的光导板,位于光导板下方的反射片,位于光导板上的多个散射片和棱柱片,其中,散射片和棱柱片的各个边向金属反射板和模制框架的上表面延伸。
应该理解,上述一般性说明和下面的详细说明都是示例性和解释性的,用于对本发明的权利要求提供进一步解释。

具体实施方式
下面参考附图中显示的示例,对本发明的实施例进行详细说明。在可能的情况下,在所有附图中使用相同标号来表示相同或相似部件。
图4和图5是显示具有根据本发明的背后照明部件的便携式计算机的LCD组件的下部和侧部的剖视图。
参考图4和图5,LCD组件具有液晶板10,背后照明部件200和金属机壳30。
液晶板10具有两个偏光器和在两个偏光器之间注入的液晶,以输出图像。然后,背后照明部件安装在液晶板10的后部,用来给液晶板10的整个表面发射光。矩形金属机壳30固定和支持液晶板10和背后照明部件200的各个角。
而且,背后照明部件200具有:合成树脂形成的矩形模制框架210;安装在模制框架210的一侧上用来发射光的灯220;在模制框架210具有灯的一侧上围绕灯220的一部分的金属反射板230,用来形成为灯罩以反射从灯发射的光;平行于灯220在模制框架230上形成的光导板240,用来将从灯220发射的光引导到一个衬底的整个表面上;以及在光导板240上以多层形式形成的多个上/下散射片260,290和上/下棱柱片270,280。
同时,散射片260和290以及棱柱片270和280的边向金属反射板230和模制框架210的上表面延伸。
也就是,散射片260和290以及棱柱片270和280与金属反射板230以及模制框架210重叠,这样可以防止在片260,270,280和290以及金属反射板230/模制框架210之间产生缝隙。
因此,可以防止从灯220发射的光不经过片260,270,280和290中的下散射片260而漏入液晶板。
根据本发明的背后照明部件具有如下优点。
首先,在片和金属反射板/模制框架的边之间不会产生缝隙。因此,可以防止从灯发射的光不经过片而从液晶板中泄漏,从而提高了LCD设备的质量。
而且,在现有技术背后照明部件中用来防止光泄漏的衬垫并没有在根据本发明的背后照明部件中使用,从而减小了LCD组件的厚度。
此外,片的边与金属反射板的上表面重叠,这样液晶板和金属反射板/模制框架之间的缝隙减小。因此,可以减少由于在驱动LCD设备过程中的热而引起的片起皱,从而减小图像的退化。
本领域技术人员应该理解,可以对本发明进行各种修改和变化。因此,本发明应覆盖所有落入所附权利要求及其等同物范围内的修改和变化。

Claims (1)

1.一种液晶显示器设备的背后照明部件,用来对液晶板的整个表面发射光,包括:
矩形模制框架;
安装在模制框架的一侧用于发射光的灯;
安装在模制框架上具有灯的一侧用来围绕灯的一部分的金属反射板;
与灯平行地安装在模制框架上的光导板;
位于光导板下的反射片;
位于光导板上的多个散射片和棱柱片;
其中,散射片和棱柱片的各个边向金属反射板和模制框架的上表面延伸。
