Description

含吡咯的油包水乳状液
本发明涉及对含苄醇的油包水乳状液构成的碱性脱漆配料的脱漆速度的改进,这改进是通过在其油相加入有效量的吡咯而达到的。
例如,在美国专利5,387,363(以后称作“363专利”)和美国专利申请08/706,850(以后称作“850申请”)描述了本发明所涉及的基于苄醇的碱性油包水乳状液,363专利和850申请的全部说明书在此引作参考。最好是含蜡,如石蜡的碱性油包水乳状液。
在含一种油包水乳状液但不存在任何有机胺活化剂的碱性脱漆剂配料中,该乳状液有一水相和一连续的苄醇(油)相,其改进是在苄醇相加入了有效量的吡咯,从而提高脱漆速度。较好的实施方案包括加入萜烯(如d-苎烯)以减慢水的蒸发速度和/或加入茴香醚以进一步提高脱漆速度。
现已发现在碱性油包水乳状液的苄醇有机相中加入吡咯,提高了脱漆速度。
在850申请和363专利中所述的含蜡碱性油包水乳状液作为脱漆剂特别有用,因为该乳状液除其它优点外,尤其是减少了气味,其中的蜡(天然或合成的)通过减慢能加强脱漆作用的组分(如水和其它挥发物)的蒸发,提高了脱漆效率。当存在蜡时,其用量一般很小,略超过能使有机相饱和的量(1重量%)。优选的蜡是石蜡(该术语包括其各个组分)。同样也可以使用石蜡(parrafin)或矿物油、植物蜡、微晶蜡、地蜡和褐煤蜡。
根据需脱漆的基料、脱漆剂配料中的溶剂(和蜡,如果含有蜡的话)的量等,吡咯的用量以乳状液的总重量为基准,一般约为1.0-24.0重量%(约2-24%为宜,最好是约8-24%)。上限是一个实用限,因为再加入吡咯,脱漆速度的增加也是微乎其微,而低于约1%,会失去其溶解性。
与吡咯一起还可以加入一种或多种萜烯,因为萜烯的存在有助于减少水和其它溶剂从这些逆乳状液脱漆剂蒸发,因此脱漆剂的使用寿命可延长到24小时或更长。当采用这种组合时,最好使用约8-16%的吡咯,而萜烯的用量最好是约4-8%。这样的萜烯的例子有d-苎烯(优选的)、二聚戊烯(也称作1-甲基-4-(1-甲基乙烯基)环己烯)、月桂烯、α-蒎烯、里哪醇以及上述物质的混合物。
与吡咯一起还可以加入苄醇,以提高脱漆速度,在这种情况下,苄醇和吡咯的总量约为1-24%(2-16%为佳),或苄醇加入至吡咯/萜烯组合中。当苄醇、萜烯和吡咯都加入到脱漆剂时,优化的体系一般是含约8-16%的苄醇、约5-9%的萜烯和约0.3-8%的吡咯。
在较好的脱漆剂的乳状液中加入蜡的量,以乳状液的总重量为基准,一般约为0.02-5.0重量%,约0.1-1.0%更好。可以使用任何类型的市售的石蜡或地蜡(或其组分)商品。大多数石蜡的熔点在约47-65℃的范围。
参考850申请和363专利,通过将下述组分混合在一起可配制出使用这样的乳状液的脱漆剂配料:水、苄醇、任何蜡、吡咯、最多达约2重量%的增稠剂(例如,羟丙基纤维素或甲基纤维素)、最多达约15重量%的烃溶剂(芳族或脂族,包括石油馏份,其作用是润湿增稠剂并溶解存在的蜡)、最多达约2重量%的表面活性剂(例如二甲苯磺酸钠或如油酸羟乙基咪唑啉之类的咪唑啉)、最多达约15重量%的氨、最多达约5重量%的防腐蚀剂(如2-巯基苯并三唑、苯并三唑或硅酸钠)和如果需要,少量的染料(一般每加仑不超过0.1-0.3克)。
下面为实施例(1-7)和比较例C1的配料,实施例1-7是本发明的有最佳溶剂量的这类脱漆剂配料(按重量份列出组分量),比较例C1没有吡咯。

*羟丙基纤维素增稠剂的量可在0.4-0.6之间变化,以补偿由于溶剂量的变化导致的粘度变化。
在标准性能试验中,在涂布了聚氨酯面漆体系(在环氧底漆上的聚氨酯面漆)或聚氨酯面漆/聚氨酯底漆体系(在聚氨酯底漆上的聚氨酯面漆)的铝板上,对这些配方进行比较脱漆试验。按照MIL-R-81294进行脱漆试验,这是用于评价脱漆剂从铝板上除去白色聚氨酯漆的效率的军用规范。对环氧面漆体系(在环氧底漆上的环氧面漆)未进行试验,以前的经验已证明用聚氨酯面漆体系的效果类似于用环氧面漆的效果。这些试验的结果列于表I,数据为每种体系在24小时内漆被清除的试样板的百分数。

实施例1和2的数据表明仅使用吡咯就能有效地改善对聚氨酯面漆/聚氨酯底漆体系的脱漆能力。吡咯与一种萜烯(d-苎烯)和/或茴香醚组合可改善对这两种体系的脱漆能力,实施例3-7中的数据证明了含吡咯和萜烯的组合特别有效。

Claims (14)

1.一种含油包水乳状液但不含有机胺活化剂的碱性脱漆剂配料,该乳状液有一水相和一连续的苄醇相,其特征在于在苄醇相中加入有效量的吡咯,以提高脱漆速度。
2.如权利要求1所述的脱漆剂配料,其特征还在于在苄醇相中加入一种蜡。
3.如权利要求2所述的脱漆剂配料,其特征在于在苄醇相中还加入一种萜烯。
4.如权利要求3所述的脱漆剂配料,其特征还在于所述的萜烯是d-苎烯。
5.如权利要求2所述的脱漆剂配料,其特征在于在苄醇相中还加入了茴香醚。
6.如权利要求2所述的脱漆剂配料,其特征在于在苄醇相还加入一种萜烯和茴香醚。
7.如权利要求6所述的脱漆剂配料,其特征还在于所述的萜烯是d-苎烯。
8.一种提高不含有机胺活化剂的碱性油包水乳状液脱漆剂的脱漆速度的方法,该方法包括在该乳状液的有机相加入有效量吡咯的步骤。
9.如权利要求8所述的方法,其特征在于在该乳状液的有机相中还加入了一种蜡。
10.如权利要求9所述的方法,其特征在于在该乳状液的有机相中还加入了一种萜烯。
11.如权利要求10所述的方法,其特征还在于所述的萜烯是d-苎烯。
12.如权利要求9所述的方法,其特征在于在该乳状液的有机相中还加入了茴香醚。
13.如权利要求9所述的方法,其特征在于在该乳状液的有机相中还加入了一种萜烯和茴香醚。
