Abstract

本发明所涉及一种芯片卡,依专利申请要求的总述,它具有一个联接件,简称为CIC(组合接口芯片)。CIC做为一个器件可以是芯片卡中微控制器的补充件,也可以按专利规定的功能集成在普通的卡控制器件中。
这种称做芯片卡的塑料卡片,无接触地或有接触地同读/写装置进行能量和数据交换。这种卡可有多种用途,比如说做为电话卡,健康状况卡,入门控制卡能使用。关于这种卡的概述及其应用在电子杂志93年卷中分3次做了介绍,在DE3935364 C1中涉及到的一种这类芯片卡已为众所周知。
本发明的任务是,对于在一个终端上用卡来解决的不同的应用要求,安排不同的微控制器来实现,这样就可能在需要微控制器A的某个应用A中在一个终端处使用卡,而在一个需要微控制器B的应用B中也在一个终端处使用卡。
上述任务通过权利要求1中所图示的特征加以完成。
图1显示芯片卡外的与读/写装置相联接的不同接口1,2,3。这些接口以其各不相同的物理特征与CIC(4)联接。CIC使得不同的接口1,2,3与其它的芯片形成一体的联系。CIC是直接设置在一个微控制器5(A)中的(集成式方案)。
图2显示CIC的另一种非集成的结构型式。此外还具有接触面可接通第一和第二微控制器5(A)及7(B)。对权利要求1
CIC根据接口的不同物理特性或者根据在接口处的信息来确定卡上的那个微控制器应该被使用。此如说,根据从读/写装置传来的信息判定不是使用微控制器A,则信息会被切换到联接6上去以接通另外的微控制器,对流入的信息的分析可通过CIC中的软件进行—如果把CIC做为微型计算机—,或者,也可以通过CIC上的布线逻辑来进行。对权利要求2
ICI可以做为一个单独的电子组件来实现其功能,此时接触区8应存在。CIC的功能也可以集成到微控制器5中去,这样微控制器也同时承担对从读/写装置过来的信息的分体任务。对权利要求3
接口1,2,3的物理特性决定了应该使用那个控制器。比如说在无接触传输时线圈或电容极板起使用,也同样可切换到联线6上去。对权利要求4
符合ISO7816标准的卡上以及在读/写装置中,接触区尚有部分未被使用的接触端口。它们通过一个物理信号的分析来用做对应用要求进行判别从而进一步在CIC中进行切换。例如,此时在读/写装置中在这些接触端上处施加一个电压。
Claims (1)
- 权利要求1具有一个微控制器及多个有接触端口与/或无接触端口的芯片卡,用于同读/写装置进行数据变换,其特征在于,—端口(1,2,3)与一个联接件(CIC;4)相联接,—芯片卡有多个微控制器(5,7)—根据端口(1,2,3)处的信息,CIC(4)确定微控制器(5;7)中的哪一个应该与读/写装置进行数据交换,以及—CIC(4)将端口(1,2,3)与相应的微控制器之间的数据交换经联线(6)加以切换。权利要求2依权利要求1之芯片卡,其特征在于,CIC(4)集成在一块普通结构的微控制器(5)中。权利要求3依权利要求1之芯片卡,其特征在于,CIC(4)根据端口(1,2,3)的物理特性来确定,微控制器(5,7)中的哪一个应该与读/写装置进行数据交换。权利要求4依权利要求3之芯片卡,其特征在于,对端口(1,2,3)的物理特性的分析通过芯片卡上未被使用的接点上的信号来进行。
