Abstract

通信装置
本发明涉及通信装置，更具体地是涉及移动式通信装置。
随着移动式电子装置，比如无绳电话和个人管理器(PersonalOrganizer)日益增长的广泛使用，更为优先考虑的是将这些装置设计为轻便小型易于携带的装置。在用户喜欢这些装置的移动性的同时，他还可能需要同时带有几个装置，以便根据其要求能得到双向话音通信和数据通信。需要带有分离的无绳电话和个人管理器装置对于用户是很麻烦的。而且，这些装置通常要求分离的充电器，多个装置具有多个充电器产生的混乱现象对于用户是很不方便的。所以，需要一种包括双向话音和数据通信的移动式通信装置。
图1是一个依据本发明的通信装置的说明图。
图2是第二个依据本发明的通信装置的解说图。
附图的图1说明一个依据本发明的移动式无线电单元即手机100。这里要说明的手机100提供和个人管理器一起双向话音通信。在优选实施例中，手机100是一个第二代无绳电话(CT2)手机，然而，其他通信装置，例如蜂窝电话，也可使用这个发明。手机100包括一个外壳102和一个折叠部分，或前盖104，后者通过一个绞链106连接到外壳。许多按键包括在折叠部分104内来提供拨号功能，菜单滚动以及与无绳电话有关的其它相似功能。天线110也包括在手机100中，作为一个发射和接收射频信号的装置。在本发明的优选实施例中，包括许多按键108作为键盘板的一个部分，夹在两片塑料之间来构成折叠部分104。其他材料例如一片橡胶也能用来构成包括按键108的折叠部分104。折叠部分104还包括显示窗用来显示滚动的菜单和按下按键108所产生的信息。位于每个按键背面的压力表面(将示于图2)在压下按键时移动一个预定的距离，以能够和触敏屏幕(以后将示出)接触而不会损坏该屏幕。
绞链106中包括一个传感开关，它用来检测折叠部分104在第一位置(或开启位置)和第二位置(或闭合位置)之间的运动。在本发明的优选实施例中，当折叠部分处于闭合位置时，手机100用作CT2电话机，而用户可利用前面键盘实现通常的CT2电话功能。当折叠部分开启时，绞链106内的传感开关发送一个信号给位于外壳102内的一个控制器部分，指示手机将转换为本领域熟知的个人管理器的作用。
现在参考图2，示出折叠部分104处在开启位置的手机100。通过开启折叠部分104，位于绞链106中的开关检测到折叠部分位置的变化，并发送一个信号给控制器部分，它使连接于外壳102的显示器或透镜202用作个人管理器。由于折叠部分104处在开启位置，露出全部的显示器202，用户就能使用一个备有显示器202的完整的写入板，在其上记事、存贮消息，草图以及其他数据操作等。显示器202最好是一个触敏液晶显示器(LCD)，能对微小的压力进行响应。显示器202可使用触敏薄膜或其他用于接收数据输入的类似装置。当折叠部分是处于闭合时，通过按键压下的方式，将数据传递到显示器202，或是当折叠部开启时，手写数据。一个记录笔112最好置于手机100侧面夹持套管114中，它可被取下并在折叠部分104闭合时作为一个书写工具发送手写数据到显示器202。
图2也示出了位于折叠部分104内侧的压力表面204。在折叠部分104闭合的情况下，当按键108从前面被按动时，压力通过压力表面204提供给对应于显示器202内的每个按键的触敏驱动区206。当折叠部分104处于闭合位置时，每个压力表面204对准一个相应的驱动区206。对于用户启动的每个按键，压力表面204移动一个预定的距离和相对应的驱动区206相接触。当折叠部分104闭合时，示出这些驱动区域206的目的仅是为了说明这些按键的功能。当用户开启折叠部分104时，驱动区206不再起键盘的作用。在折叠部分104的内侧还包括一个缓冲器208，它最好用橡胶材料制造，使得当折叠部分处在闭合位置时，按键108和它们相应的压力表面204离开透镜202的表面一个预定的距离。缓冲器208有助于防止按错键，也有助于保护透镜202不受损坏和刮伤。
当折叠部分处在开启位置，手机100用作个人管理器时，信令信息仍可被天线110接收，而且用户也可被警告有一个来话呼叫。然后用户可闭合折叠部分104并使用手机作为无绳电话来应答呼叫。
通过将双向话音通信与个人管理器结合在一起，本发明所描述的手机提供了两种工作方式。由于无绳手机和个人管理器的结合，用户必须携带的电子装置的数量就减少了。本发明所描述的手机也可由一个充电器来充电，这就消除了对多个充电器的需要。处于闭合位置时，盖式折叠部分对于透镜不受损坏或污染提供了更多的保护。
虽然本发明的优选实施例已被说明和描述，但很明显本发明是不受限制的。在不偏离由附属的权利要求书所确定的本发明的精神和范围的条件下，本领域的技术人员将会考虑到许多修正，更换，变化，替代和等效的内容。

Claims (10)

1.一个通信装置，它包含
一个外壳；
一个连接于外壳并在第一和第二位置之间工作的折叠部分；
一个连接于外壳的显示器，当折叠部分处于第一位置时，显示器被折叠部分覆盖，当折叠部分处于第二位置时，显示器露出；
一个位于外壳内的控制器部分，用于处理按键数据和手写数据；以及
当折叠部分处于第一位置，显示响应按键数据，当折叠部分处于第二位置，显示响应手写数据。
2.权利要求1所描述的通信装置，还包括折叠部分内的一个显示窗口用于当折叠部分处在第一位置时显示按键数据。
3.权利要求2所描述的通信装置，还包括一个记录笔用于当折叠部分处在第二位置时输入数据到显示器。
4.权利要求1所描述的通信装置，其中当折叠部分处于第一位置时，通信装置用作一个无绳电话，而当折叠部分处于第二位置时，通信装置用作一个个人管理器。
5.权利要求4所描述的通信装置，还包括一个当折叠部分处于第二位置时用于接收信令信息的装置。
6.一个通信装置包含
一个活动的盖；
一个位于活动盖内的键盘用来输入一个按键动作；
一个开关装置用于检测可活动盖内的活动；
一个显示装置，它有第一工作方式和第二工作方式，第一工作方式提供一个预定的驱动区用于接收由键盘输入的按键动作，第二工作方式用来接收输入到显示装置的手写数据；以及
一个控制器，在第一工作方式时，它用来处理到显示装置的预定的驱动区的按键动作，而在第二工作方式时，它用来处理输入到显示装置的手写数据。
7.一个具有第一和第二工作方式的通信装置，第一工作方式提供双向话音通信而第二工作方式提供个人管理器，通信装置包含一个连接到它的折叠部分，折叠部分工作在闭合位置和开启位置之间，它包括一个键盘用于接收按键数据输入，在第一工作方式时，闭合位置允许按键数据输入，在第二工作方式时，开启位置露出连接到通信装置的显示器来接收手写数据输入。
8.权利要求7所描述的通信装置，还包含一个控制器部分，它对应于折叠部分的开启和闭合位置，用来控制第一和第二工作方式。
9.权利要求8所描述的通信装置，还包含一个把折叠部分连接到通信装置的铰链，铰链包括一个开关，用来检测折叠部分的开启和闭合位置，该开关发送一个信号给控制器部分以响应折叠部分的开启和闭合位置。
10.权利要求7所描述的通信装置，还包含一个装置用来在第二工作方式时接收信令信息。
