Abstract

本发明直接针对电话网络接口器件,特别是用户可访问的组件。
在电话中继箱中,网络接口器件通过用户室内线为用户进行用户或客户测试提供有限的访问,在中继箱中用户室内线和电话公司的分布电缆相连。在安装之后,这种中继箱对电话公司的维修人员是可以完全访问的。在美国专利No.4,979,209中说明了这样一个网络接口器件,它可以面向多个用户,其中一个机箱包括在整个机箱上延伸、并可由维修人员安装的主盖,和一个辅盖,辅盖位于机箱上用户可访问部分并可由用户安装;这样的机箱通常由维修人员提供用户可访问部分的入口,但是用户可访问部分对未授权的人仍是保密的。用户可访问部分的各个组件包括各自的保护罩,这样每个用户组件可以防止其他用户的进入。
单个用户组件包括一个电气上和室内线及电话公司分布电缆的用户专用线都相连的测试口或插座,用户可以打开盖子,并插入电话的插头或其他测试器件,以发现扰乱用户的故障的位置。电话或测试器件的成功连接说明故障在室内线上,且是用户的责任;反之,电话或测试器件的不成功连接说明故障在电话公司的线上。这种由用户测试的特性使用户在给电话公司打维修电话之前,能首先确定故障的位置,因此当故障在室内线上的时候可以节省用户打电话公司维修电话的费用。
现有技术中的测试口是这样的类型:它包括传统的电话插头连接器,连接器有一组二个或四个接头和插座中的接头相匹配,插头的接头固定在从插头延伸出来的导线上,并且和室内线相连。从插头延伸出的导线由于插头从插座中拨出或插入或接头被暴露而经常发生损耗,这些暴露是在安装或维修或测试或其他时候由工具不经意地引起的。有时将插座中的接头暴露在潮湿空气中也会引起这样的问题,需要对用户组件进行维护和修理。
人们希望提供一种用户组件,这种组件可以消除导线损耗和由潮湿空气引起的插座接头表面腐蚀的可能性。
在本发明中,用户组件包括接头,其中有一组沿接触面的内连接头,接触面不和导线相连,但实际上是一分流器。插头优选地用不导电的短索如高弹性塑料做的绳固定在组件上,并且包括一个可用手抓握的、从插头上和接触面相对的一端延伸的部分,以用来从插座中拨出插头和再装配插头。弹性材料的密封构件放置在插头周围的凹槽内,在插头完全插入插座时产生形变以啮合插座的壁,这样可以保证插头和插座之间接触界面的密封性。
插座相对插头组的每个接触面提供相隔一段距离的接头对,它们本身电气上并不相连,在分布电缆和室内线的连接处有意形成一个间隙,使接头对中一些接头在电气上和分布电缆的导线相连,而接头对的另一些接头和室内线相连,所有这些都完全封装在组件内。在插头被固定在测试口或插座上时,它的内连接头为插座接头对的相关接头提供可靠的连接,否则这些接头不连通,并且可以在分布电缆和室内线之间建立电话服务。
本发明的一个目的在于为用户组件提供用户测试端口,在不进行测试时,使接触界面密封,以防止潮湿空气进入。
另一个目的是提供一种插头,插头不使用暴露在外时易于损坏的导线,也不要求在拨出或重新插入插头时进行操作。
更进一步的目的在于提供一个用户组件,组件包括在不改变封装的情况下,能够放置封装在组件中的测试或其他元件。
本发明的一个实施方案将参照附图通过例子说明。
图1是一个网络接口器件的立体图,它的主盖关闭而辅盖打开,表示用户部分包括一组包含本发明的用户组件;
图2是用户组件的立体图,插头从插座中拨出,并且展示了从室内线及分布电缆延伸至组件的导线;
图3是插头完全插入插座时的剖视图,且一个内连接头连接一对内部接头;和
图4是插头插入插座的立体图,且用于连接用户导线的密封帽放在它的打开位置;和
图5是图1至4组件的立体剖视图,表示安装了接头和接线端的电路板。
在图1中表示了网络接口器件10,它包括一个包含用户部件14和电话公司部件16的机箱12,机箱12包括一个主盖18固定在锁20上,以防止非维修人员访问部件16。从部件中延伸出一对分布电缆22。辅盖30处于打开的位置,且包括锁32,在关闭的时候可以固定在主盖18上,在用户部件14中安装了一组用户组件40。单个的用户电缆34从机箱12中的用户部件14延伸到顾客或用户的室内线上,并且每个用户电缆的导线36在电气上和相关用户组件40中的电路相连,组件安装在机箱12的用户部件14上。
保护罩42处于打开的位置,且能可转动地在绞链44处安装到对应的组件40上形成关闭的状态,如果个别用户原意,可以锁在锁位置46上,例如可以用普通的10号挂锁。
每个组件40包括电缆接口48,用于连接用户电缆34的导线36的末端到组件内的接线端上,同时也提供与接头36的电气连接,接头38延伸到电话公司部件16,用于和分布电缆22的导线连通。插头50固定在组件40上,例如用短索52,并且包括从组件向上突出的拉手部分54,可以用手抓握,以便将插头从相应的插座中拨出来。
现在参看图2和图3,插头50有一个极化的接触端面58,和传统的用于电话工业的插头连接器一样,用传统的带有形状互补的插头接收孔的插座把电话接到室内线上。插头50用绝缘材料制成,例如热塑性树脂,并且可以看到在插头的接触端有4个内连接头56安装在接触面58上,且接头包括沿侧面64、66放置的被体区68连接的连接部分60,62。可以看到内连接头56放置在相应的槽70内,并固定在其上,例如用连接部分60,62末端的倒钩72。间隔一段距离放置在接触面58后部的是弹性的密封构件74。例如环绕中间部分78的槽76中的O形环。插头50还包括一个直径较大的盖凸缘80,可以横过并关上插座100的开口。
插座100被限定在组件40中的绝缘材料壳体98内,并且包括插头接收孔,在孔的底部104附近有接触面。第一接头沿着第一侧110,排列在相应的槽108内,且第二接头112沿着第二侧116放在凹槽114内,它们都有支架杆连接臂118,120和插头50的内连接头56的连接部分60,62相连,它朝向孔的底部104以一定角度延伸进入插头接收孔内,形成相对的对,通过内连接头56电气接通,并且在插头50完全插入孔102时和相应的电路完全连通。直径扩大了的部件124的圆形表面部件122和插头50的密封构件74连接,在插头完全插入时形成密封环境,保护孔120的底部的接触界面。O形环74在表面部件122上的适当摩擦足以将插头50固定在插座100内,而不需要固定装置。插头接收孔102和其中的接头106,112限定了测试口,可接收用于测试用户室内线和分布电缆的电路的插头,且当插头50完全插入时是密封的。
第一接头106包括延伸过电路板170的焊孔的接线头126,用于和电路板170的相应连线(未画出)焊接。并且类似地,第二接头110包括放在板170的焊孔内的接线头128,并和板170上的其他连线焊在一起。
在图4中,导线接头部分150包括密封帽152,密封帽放置在槽154内且可以垂直地在连接前或开口位置与连接后或闭合位置之间移动,帽上还包括把手部件156以进行操作。密封帽152有4个导线接收部件158,在打开的状态可以接收相应导线36的末端,之后,移动到关闭状态,使导线以一种通常是传统公知的方式进入封装98的支持槽160和接线端164的绝缘放置槽中。接线头164包括接头部分166,安装在横过组件40底部的电路板170上(最好参见图5),且在其上和相应的连线电气上连接。
在电路板170上,从接头164上引出的连线延伸到相应的插座100的第二接头112上,且和其电气相通。这样形成从第二接头112到用户电缆34的导线36上的完整通路。另外,连线从第一接头104连到导线38,导线38延伸到网络接口部件10的电话公司部件16,用以同分布电缆22连接。优选地,测试接头172(图5)有接头部分,安装在电路板170上,连接所选的连线,并沿组件40的可访问表面178延伸到凹槽176中暴露的接头174上,以便于维修人员的测试。
人们希望导线38通过保护组件(未画出)连接到相应的网络接口器件中电话公司部件16上的电缆导线上,例如通过在美国专利No.5317,474中说明的保护组件。这种保护组件形成对电路中电压浪涌和电流浪涌的保护以防止设备损坏。
优选地,在将组件40和接头106,112及安装在电路板170上的接线头164组装在一起之后,封装材料180沿电路板接收孔182中的电路板的外表面放入组件40的底面,因此在环境上使组件40的电气连接密封起来。
本发明一方面是在用户组件40内的电路板170,它使得可以在组件内使用额外的电气或电子元件,例如保持测试单元(未画出)或半振铃器,使计算机能定时查询接到组件上的用户线以做无故障检验,甚至是在电话机单元没有正确连接到房间内的室内线的情况下。
在本发明宗旨和权利要求的范围内,可以对本发明的实施方案进行改变和调整。

Claims (10)

1.  一种用户网络接口器件的用户组件,用以提供用户室内线和分布电缆之间的电气连接,并可以进行用户室内线的用户测试,包括含有插座的壳体和插头,插座上装有第一和第二接头,第一接头在电气上和分布电缆相连,第二接头和用户室内线电气相连,插头和所述插座互相匹配,所述插头包括内连接头,其特征在于每个所述内连接头在电气上和其他导体绝缘,当插入所述插座的时候,所述内连接头和所述插座的所述第一和第二接头相连,这样使所述第一接头和相应的第二接头相连,并且使所述用户室内线和所述分布电缆之间相应的末连通电路连通。
2.根据权利要求1的用户组件,其特征在于所述插头还包括一个密封构件,装在环绕所述插头中间部分的槽内,并和插头的接触端面隔开一段距离,当所述插头被完全插入插座的时候,与环绕插座中的插头接收孔的相应表面相连,并被其压紧,将所述接触界面密封起来。
3.根据权利要求1的用户组件,其特征在于所述插头包括向外凸出的人工可抓握的把手,用于在测试过程中,将所述插头从所述插座中拨出来。
4.根据权利要求1的用户组件,其特征在于所述插头用一条短索固定在所述组件上。
5.根据权利要求1的用户组件,其特征在于所述壳体有一个导线连接部分,包括用以连接用户室内线的相应导线的接线端,和相应的密封帽,可将所述导线和所述接线端连通,所述密封帽包括向外凸出的人工可抓握的把手可以使密封帽在打开和关闭的位置移动。
6.根据权利要求5的用户组件,其特征在于所述密封帽处于打开位置时固定在相应的槽内。
7.根据权利要求1的用户组件,其特征在于还包括测试接头,安装在电路板上,并且在电气上和所选的连线相连,并具有沿顶层表面露出的端头,可以使维修人员进行测试。
8.根据权利要求1的用户组件,其特征在于密封材料沿所述壳体的底面放置,将电路板固定在其中,这样将电气连接密封在组件内。
9.根据权利要求1的用户组件,其特征在于每个所述第一和第二接头包括向外偏斜的连接部分,在通过所述插头中相应的所述内连接头的相应接头相连并向外偏斜之前,以一定角度放在插头接收孔内。
10.根据权利要求9的用户组件,其特征在于每个所述内连接头放在所述插头的接触端面上相应的槽内,同时所述支架部件横过所述接触端面的前表面,并且每个所述连接部分沿着所述接触端面的侧表面延伸。
