Abstract
一种安全注射器,其注射针头被固定于一始终由

放松对针头支持件的夹持作用,令针头支持件受弹性
元件的弹力而向下掉落,并随一被挤落或挤破的封闭
元件,掉入该中空推筒的内部空间,而无法被再度使
用,可确实防止因针头重复使用或意外扎伤所引起的
体液性传染。
Description
本发明涉及一种医疗用注射器,尤其是一种使用后针头自动掉入中空推筒内的安全注射器。
目前,一般常用的注射器是一种塑胶制成的用后即丢弃的注射器,使用后应立即将其丢弃,不得重复使用,以防止注射后的针头成为体液性传染(body fluid contact)疾病的煤介。
但这种用后就丢掉的常用塑胶注射器,在使用前后并无明显的差异,因此,有可能因医护人员的疏忽而重复使用;亦可能有部份医护人员为节省成本,将使用过的注射器,在清洗之后,重复使用。上述注射器重复使用的情形,均极可能导致后来被注射者的病患,感染严重的体液性传染疾病,例如爱滋病(AIDS)及肝病(Hepatitis)等。
上述用后即丢弃的塑胶注射器的另一缺点,是极易造成医护人员的意外扎伤。该塑胶注射器针头外设有一保护用针套,使用前将针套取下,吸取药液,在完成注射后丢弃前,医护人员应将针套套回,以避免医疗废弃物的处理人员不慎被注射后丢弃的注射器针头意外扎伤。但是,由于这种塑胶注射器的针套口径很小,不易套入,尤其是当医护人员在情况紧迫及工作压力之下,极易在套回针套的过程中,不慎被注射过的针头意外扎伤。根据美国卫生部于1987年8月21日出版的《发病率和死亡率周报》[Mobidity and Mortality Weekly Report(Vol.36.No.2S)]的研究报告指出,在接受调查的883名医护人员中有708人曾被注射后针头意外扎伤过,受伤害率超过80%。《新英格兰医药报》[The New England Journal of Medicine(Vol.31)]亦指出,被注射后针头扎伤是一非常危险事件,易造成体液性感染疾病,如爱滋病及肝病等。
爱滋病于全世界漫延迅速,根据美国卫生部统计于公元1988年5月止,已有68,052个爱滋病病例,其中导致34,088人死亡。至公元1991年估计将有一百五十万人为带菌者。因此,如何使医护人员及医疗废弃物处理人员不受到任何注射针头伤害,以防感染爱滋病,是目前医界人士刻不容缓的亟待解决的课题。
本发明的目的是提供一种绝对安全的医疗用注射器,其在完成注射后,注射针头将自动掉入中空推筒内部,而不露出其外,医护人员于使用后,不需作套回针套或其他任何处理程序,即可将其丢弃,绝无意外扎伤而感染体液性传染疾病的危险。对于医疗废弃物处理人士及其他人而言,亦无意外扎伤的危险。
本发明的另一目的是提供上述型式的安全注射器,其使用前后在外观上有极大的差异性,且因使用后,其针头完全掉入注射器内部,根本无重复使用的可能。同时,被注射的病患者可直接由外观上判断该安全注射器是否曾被使用,从而可提高病患者的完全感。
完成上述目的以及其他未述及目的的安全注射器,包括一圆筒状药剂容器,可伸入该容器内部并作轴向移动的柱塞及其中空推筒。该推筒前端具有一由封闭元件密盖的开口,该注射器的针头被固定于一始终由弹力作用而具轴向滑动趋势的针头支持件上,该针头支持件在注射前,由一弹性夹持装置所夹持而定位于准备注射位置上。进行注射时,医护人员推动中空推筒及其前端的外围柱塞,以将容器内药剂,经针头的流体通道注入病患体内;当推筒被推至最前端时,先破坏该封闭元件,并几乎在同时由推筒将弹性夹持装置顶离夹持位置,使之失去对针头支持件的夹持作用,以致于该针头支持件受弹性元件的推力而向后移动,并随被破坏的封闭元件掉入中空推筒的内部空间,使注射后的针头完全不露出于外部,可确实杜绝因重复使用或意外扎伤所引起的体液性传染。

图 4是该安全注射器完成注射后,针头掉入中空柱塞内部时的剖视图。
请参阅图1及图2,本发明的安全注射器10包括有一圆筒状的药剂容器12,该容器12的尾端为一开口端14,其前端则为一缩小直径的颈部16,该颈部内壁刻有内螺纹17,颈部16的前端端面18上开设有一针头伸出孔19;一具有弹性的夹持装置20被旋接于该内螺纹17上,夹持装置20分为前半部为圆筒形螺纹件22及后半部为两个对称的悬空夹片24及26,该螺纹件22与药剂容器之内的螺纹17配合,可被旋接固定,两个对称且大致成L形的夹片24及26与螺纹件22连成一体,该等夹片具有弹性,具有向内夹紧的趋势;该夹持装置20亦可与该药剂容器12制成一体;注射用的针头30具有供药剂进出的流体通道31,共前端成尖锐状32,可刺入病患者的体内,将容器12内药剂经流体通道31注入病患者体内,该针头30被预选固定于一针头支持件34上,而针头支持件34即被夹持于两片悬空且具有向内夹紧趋势的弹性夹片24和26之间;为加强夹片24及26对针头支持件34的夹持作用,在夹片与针头支持件上设置有相互配合的卡扣用凸缘28及凹槽36,并正好使凸缘28嵌入凹槽36内;因此,两片夹片24及26在不被向外张开的情形下,借其自身向内夹紧的弹力及凸缘28的卡扣作用,可确实夹持该针头支持件34,并使针头30自容器12的针头伸出孔19伸出,而位于准备注射的位置;另外,在针头支持件34的底面35设有至少一个突出件341;在针头支持件34与圆筒形螺纹件22间套设一例如弹簧的弹性元件38,该弹性元件38对于连附有针头30的针头支持件34施加一使其具有轴向滑动趋势的弹力,但该弹力在针头注射前,被夹片24及26施于针头支持件34上的夹持作用力所克服,而不发生作用。该安全注射器10又包括一个以高周波加工方式或其他加工方式,被固设于中空推筒50前缘的外围柱塞60,该外围柱塞60连同中空推筒50构成一柱塞装置,可自开口端14以压入配合方式进入药剂容器12内部,并可行轴向移动;借该外围柱塞60及中空推筒50的前端端面51共同封闭药剂容器12的开口端14,以借该外围柱塞60及其中空推筒50的同步轴向移动,将药剂在真空吸引方式填充于容器12内部,或将容器12内储存的药剂自针头30的流体通道31射出。该中空推筒50的内部为中空状态52,且前端端面51上预留有一可进入该中空内部52的开口54,这种开口54在注射前由一封闭元件56紧密封闭;该柱塞推筒50的尾端是一可供医护人员握持的封闭手柄端58。
该露出于药剂容器12外部的针头部分30,必要时,可使用一针套(图未示出)将之套合,以免引起意外扎伤。这种针头30在未被使用前,虽可能意外扎伤人体,但并无因意外扎伤引起体液性传染的危险。
请参阅图2,在未进行注射前,该连附有针头30的针头支持件34由夹持装置20所夹持,被定位于准备注射的位置上;在进行注射前,将中空推筒50向后拉动,以在药剂容器12内产生一真空吸力,而可将外界供应的药剂自针头的流体通道31吸入填充于容器12内部。
在进行注射时,选将针头30的尖锐端32刺入病患者体内,刺破病患皮肤时所施于针头30上的反作用力,被夹持装置20施于针头支持件34上的夹紧作用力所克服。然后,将中空推筒50向前端推进时,可将容器12内的药剂自流体通道31压出,注入病患体内。
请参阅图3,当推筒50即将被推至最前端时,该针头支持件34底面35上的突出件341因低于夹片24及26的底面29,先行接触封闭该推筒前端开口54的封闭元件56,并将该封闭元件56向后推动至即将脱离开口54的位置上;或以例如挤破的方式破坏该封闭元件56。
请参阅图4,当推筒50继续被推至最前端时,即可挤落或挤破该封闭开口54的封闭元件56,同时该推筒50的前端端面51即与两片悬空L形弹性夹片24及26的底面29接触,并向前推动该L形弹性夹片,使之向外张开,以致这些弹性夹片失去对针头支持件34的夹持作用,同时卡扣用凸缘28亦脱离凹槽36的限制。在此种情况下,仅有包围针头30的病患者肌肉(图未示出),对刺入的针头30提供一夹持作用力,使针头30及其支持件34得以暂时保持在注射位置上。当医护人员在完成注射后,将针头30完全拔出病患者身体外时,该完全失去夹持作用的针头支持件34,即因弹性元件38施于针头支持件34上的轴向推力,被向后推动,并经由因封闭元件56被预先破坏而开启的开口54,进入中空推筒50的中空内部52,完全不露出于外。
在药剂容器12与推筒50间设有互相配合的楔形限制凸缘11及59,该相互配合的楔形限制凸缘11及59对于被推至最前端的柱塞推筒50具有止回作用,以避免该使用后的柱塞推筒50被反向拉出,同时可节省使用后废弃注射器所占据的体积。
在药剂容器12的外壁刻有容积刻度15,以供医护人员辨识填充于药剂容器12内的药剂量。
由图1至图3所显示的本发明安全注射器10的注射过程,可以明显看出,当医护人员将注射器10及针头30自病患者身体拔出完成注射的同时,该连附有针头30的针头支持件34失去所有夹持作用力,而由一弹性元件38推入中空推筒50的内部空间52,完全不露出于外。对于医护人员及医疗废弃物处理人员而言,均无被注射后针头意外扎伤而感染爱滋病、肝病等体液性传染疾病的危险。
Claims (6)
1、一种安全注射器,其特征在于它包括有:
一圆筒形药剂容器,具有一开口端及一缩小直径的颈部;
被固设于颈部内的夹持装置,该夹持装置具有悬空的弹性夹持部,该夹持部具有向内夹紧的趋势;
连附有注射用针头的针头支持件,该针头支持件被该夹持部紧密夹持,并使该针头部分伸出于该药剂容器外部,位于一准备注射位置;
一弹性元件,施加一弹力于该针头支持件上,而使该针头支持件具有轴向移动趋势;以及
一至少部分插入该容器开口端而以压入配合方式接合该容器壁的中空推筒,在所述的中空推筒具有一前端端面及一中空内部,该前端端面预设有一连通中空内部的开口,该开口暂时被一封闭元件封闭。将该中空推筒推向该容器的颈部时,该针头支持件在接触封闭元件时先行破坏该封闭元件,而几乎同时由该柱塞装置的前端端面推使该夹持部向外张开,以解除夹持部对于该针头支持件的夹持作用;并由该弹性元件的弹力将该针头支持件推入该中空推筒的中空内部。
2、如权利要求1所述的安全注射器,其特征在于该中空推筒具有一止回构件,以在该中空推筒被推至接触该针头支持件的位置时,限制其回程运动。
3、如权利要求2所述的安全注射器,其特征在于该止回构件由分别设于该容器内壁及该中空推筒外壁上相互配合的楔形限制凸缘所组成。
4、如权利要求1所述的安全注射器,其特征在于该夹持部分于该针头支持件的接触面上具有卡扣凸缘,且该针头支持件上具有与之配合的凹槽,于夹持部紧密夹持该针头支持件时,该卡扣凸缘正好可嵌入该凹槽内。
5、如权利要求1所述的安全注射器,其特征在于该针头支持件具有至少一个向下延伸的突出件,用以在与该封闭元件接触时破坏该封闭元件。
6、如权利要求1所述的安全注射器,其特征在于该夹持装置与药剂容器连接成一体。
