通常,技术人员使用电池测试仪以便确定蓄电池的情况。一般地,电池测试仪指示/显示当将设备与电池耦接时对真实设备的测试结果。然而,该技术可以限制技术人员的移动性、对所产生数据的操控和数据的存储。
发明内容
一种电池测试系统,包括:电池测试模块,配置为与电池相耦接。电池测试模块还配置为测量电池参数并发送测量到的电池参数。电池测试系统还包括:便携式平板设备,配置为接收所发送的测量到的电池参数。便携式平板设备还配置为根据测量到的电池参数确定电池测试结果,并显示电池测试结果。

具体实施方式
本实施例涉及电测测试系统和方法。下文结合图1描述了根据一个实施例的电池测试系统的主要组件。
图1是根据一个实施例的电池测试系统100的简化框图。如图1所示,电池测试系统100可以包括电池测试模块102、便携式平板设备104和电池数据库存储站(site)106,其中便携式平板设备可以通过例如互联网108访问电池数据库存储站106。
电池测试模块102能够向电池施加测试信号,响应于所施加的测试信号获得电池测试参数。电池测试模块102通常是“小型的”便携式单元,可以不包括例如键盘等特定的人接口元件。例如,模块102可以不包括用于键入电池相关信息(例如,电池类型、电池CCA(冷起动放大)额定信息等)的具有多个键的键盘。如下所详述,可以通过在模块102中包括合适的扫描仪来获得这种信息,所述合适的扫描仪能够读取电池上包括必要信息的条形码和/或射频识别(RFID)标签的。此外,可以通过以下描述的便携式平板设备104将电池相关信息提供给电池测试模块102。一些实施例中,电池测试模块102可以可选地包括测试开始/停止按钮103,以便发起/终止电池测试。特定实施例中,电池测试模块102可以包括发光二极管(LED)105,以便当开启LED时指示正在测试电池。一些实施例中,LED可以是双色或三色LED,其中不同颜色可以用于指示例如模块连接状态(即,是否将模块102与电池正确耦接)、测试状态(即,模块102是否正在从电池获得正确的读数/测量)等。附加于或代替一个或多个LED,电池测试模块102的一些实施例可以包括向用户显示电池测试信息的显示组件(例如,液晶显示器(LCD))107。这种实施例中,将模块102配置为进行显示的信息包括电池电压、环境温度和电导。不同实施例中,可以在模块102中不实施对测量到的电池参数的分析,因此模块102可以不显示根据分析电池参数而获得的测试结果。
一些实施例中,用户可以不从电池测试模块102发起电池测试,而是可以从便携式平板设备104发起电池测试。一些实施例中,电池测试模块102能够向便携式平板设备104传送电池测试数据。特定实施例中,无线地实施所述通信。电池测试模块102可以使用蓝牙技术实施无线通信或可以采用任何其它适合无线通信技术。一些实施例中,电池测试模块102能够耦接到便携式平板设备104的通用串行总线(USB)。电池测试模块102可以从与之电耦接的待测试电池接收电力。以下结合图3进一步描述了电池测试仪模块102的特定实施例。
便携式平板设备104可以是任何适合的便携式设备,包括处理器和存储器,所述存储器包括以程序代码或指令形式存储的电池测试和分析算法。处理器与存储器进行通信,执行所存储的指令。便携式平板设备104还包括一个或多个组件,所述一个或多个组件使设备104能够与电测测试模块102通信并且在一些实施例中能够与电池数据库存储站106通信。一些实施例中,便携式平板设备104可以包括适合的移动设备操作系统。
如上所述,将蓄电池用于多种应用,包括远程蜂窝站、电转换站、医院和需要备用电力源的许多其它设施或站点。一些实施例中,便携式平板设备104可以包括设施或站点信息,所述信息可以包括设施中电池的映射图。映射图可以包括电池识别信息、电池位置信息等。除了电池测试和分析算法以及电池映射图之外,便携式平板设备104还可以包括软件,所述软件使得能够进行电池测试设置、电池测试控制和显示电池测试结果。如上所述,便携式平板设备104还可以包括与数据库106的直接连接。与数据库106的直接连接可以允许访问历史电池数据以及向数据库106直接自动发送测试数据。这种连接使平板设备104能够提供考虑了数据库106中的历史电池信息的高级电池诊断能力。
一些实施例中,每个单独电池可以包括条形码和/或射频识别(RFID)标签110,该条形码和/或射频识别(RFID)标签包括电池识别信息、电池制造信息等。在这样的实施例中,组件102和/或104可以包括RFID接收器、条形码读取器等(由附图标记111表示),以便从标签110获得信息。一些实施例中,组件102和/或104可以包括多个元件,为组件102和/或104提供用电池测试结果和其他电池测试相关信息对RFID标签110进行编程的能力。一些实施例中,RFID标签110可以包括电池保证书信息、库存单元号、历史电池数据等。来自RFID和/或条形码标签110的所有数据可以由组件102和/或104获得,并由组件104用来提供高级电池诊断信息。应注意,便携式平板设备104还可以包括与电测测试无关的软件。与电池测试无关的软件可以包括一个或多个电子消息应用、电子表格和其他商业应用、游戏和其他娱乐社交应用等。通常,便携式平板设备104向技术人员提供用户友好并且熟悉的界面,以便执行电池测试和分析。下文结合图5进一步提供了便携式平板设备的一个实施例的细节。
数据库106可以是产业所熟知的或将来开发的任何类型的分层(hierarchical)或关系(relational)数据库。类似地,数据库更新软件可以是适于更新特定类型数据库106的任何软件。数据库106可以包括一个或多个表格,表格包括若干电池测试数据栏(field)。测试数据栏可以包括电池温度栏、电池电压栏、电池电导栏、电池情况栏、测量日期和时间栏等。数据库106也可以包括存储电池维护和更换信息的其它表格。数据库记录的每次维护/更换可以包括针对实施电池维护/更换的用户的用户名或其它识别方式。一些实施例中,每当对数据库记录实施更新时,将当前登录到平板设备104上的电池测试应用中的技术人员的用户名包括在数据库记录中。
图2是根据一个实施例,在实施对电池组(string)的测试中可能涉及的步骤的简化流程图200。在步骤202,实施平板设备上(例如,图1的104)的站点(site)信息查找或设置。站点信息查找可以涉及用户向平板设备104上的应用键入适合的站点识别信息,并响应性地获得待测试电池组的位置。一些实施例中,可以响应于键入了站点识别信息,将站点和/或待测试电池组的照片显示在平板设备104上。可以响应于查找询问,显示其它信息,例如,待测试电池的CCA额定值、电池类型信息等。可以从数据库106获得该信息,技术人员可以使用该信息来帮助确保将会测试正确的电池组。如果基于站点识别信息响应于询问没有获得已有站点数据,则可以执行“设置”操作以便用与要实施电池测试的新位置有关的任何可用信息来更新平板设备104。在步骤204,在平板设备104上发起测试序列。测试序列可以包括测试电池组中各电池的顺序。可以将测试各电池的顺序显示在平板设备104上。还可以将用于测试各电池的不同步骤显示在平板设备104上。发起电池测试序列还可以涉及:点击平板设备104上的按钮,以便激活电池测试模块102和平板设备104之间的电池测试接口(例如,无线通信接口)。在步骤206,将电池测试模块102应用于电池组中的电池,并根据通过平板设备104提供的指令实施测试。在步骤208,从电池测试模块102向平板设备104发送测量到的电池参数,将其显示在平板设备104上。在步骤210(该步骤是可选的),将与在电池组上实施的测试相关的数据自动提供给远程数据库(例如,图1的106)。在步骤212,在完成测试序列之后,技术人员查看平板设备104上显示的电池测试结果。
图3是根据一个实施例的示例电池测试模块300的简化框图。将模块300示出为耦接到电池302,电池302包括正极电池端子304和负极电池端子306。
测试模块300根据一个实施例来进行操作,并确定电池302的电导(GBAT)以及电池302的端子304和306之间的电势(VBAT)。测试模块300包括测试电路308。测试电路308包括电流源310、差分放大器312、模数转换器314和微处理器316。放大器312通过电容器C1和C2电容性地耦接到电池302。放大器312具有与模数转换器314的输入相连接的输出。微处理器316与系统时钟318、存储器320和数模转换器314相连接。微处理器316也能够从输入设备322接收输入并向输出设备324输出信息。输出设备324可以是能够通过无线通信链接发送由电池测试模块300获得的测量值的发送器。可以通过平板设备104(如图1所示)接收所发送的信息。
操作中,微处理器316控制电流源310,电流源310在如图3箭头所示的方向上提供电流I。一个实施例中,电流为方波或脉冲。差分放大器312分别通过电容器C1和C2连接到电池302的端子304和306,并提供与端子304和306之间电势差有关的输出。优选实施例中,放大器3121具有高输入阻抗。测试模块300包括差分放大器326,具有分别连接到端子304和306的反向和非反向输入。连接放大器326以便测量在端子304和306之间的电池302的开路电位电压(VBAT)。将放大器326的输出提供给模数转换器314,使得可以通过微处理器316测量端子304和306两端的电压。
通过称作Kelvin连接的四点连接技术将测试模块300与电池302相连接。该Kelvin连接允许通过第一对端子将电流I注入电池302,而通过第二对连接测量端子304和306上的电压V。由于非常小的电流流经放大器312,放大器312的输入上的电压降与电池302的端子304和306上的电压降实质上相同。将差分放大器312的输出转换为数字形式,并提供给微处理器316。微处理器316在由系统时钟318确定的频率下根据存储器320所存储的编程指令进行操作。
通过使用电流源310应用电流脉冲I,微处理器316确定电池302的电导。微处理器316使用放大器312和数模转换器314,确定由于电流脉冲I而引起的电池电压的改变。电流源310产生的电流I的值是已知的并且存储在存储器320中。一个实施例中,通过向电池302施加负载来获得电流I。微处理器316使用以下等式计算电池302的电导:

其中ΔI是由于电流源310而引起的流经电池302的电流变化,ΔV是由于所施加的电流ΔI引起的电池电压变化。温度传感器328可以与电池302热耦接,并用于补偿电池测量。
设备300可以无线传输测量到的电池值。(图1的)平板设备104可以接收所发送的信息。基于电池电导GBAT和电池电压,平板设备104确定电池302的情况。例如,如果在特定电压处特定电池的电池电导GBAT低于预定阈值,则平板设备104确定电池302没有通过电池测试。例如,平板设备104可以将测量到的CCA与该特定电池的额定CCA进行比较。平板设备104显示电池测试结果,还可以向数据库存储站点106传送/上传该结果。
图4是根据一个实施例的电池测试应用下载系统400的简化框图。如图4所示,系统400可以包括数字分布平台,该数字分布平台可以包括能够在平板设备104上观看的用户界面402以及可以位于一个或多个远程服务器406上的多个电池测试应用404。当通过用户界面402选择了应用404时,可以通过互联网和/或任何其它适合网络来下载多个应用404中的一个或多个。通过附图标记108来表示该网络。
一些实施例中,为了下载应用404,可能需要具有相关用户名和口令的用户账户。可以通过用户界面402来键入用户名和口令。一旦完成了用户认证,可以通过用户界面402显示可用应用的列表(例如,应用404)。用户可以通过界面402浏览、选择和下载可用应用404中的一个或多个。一旦下载了应用404,就可以在平板设备104上执行应用404。应用404可以利用例如平板设备104上的摄像机之类的特征,也可以直接或间接利用电池测试模块102和平板设备104中包括的传感器。例如,应用404中的一个或多个可以提示技术人员拍摄待测试电池组的照片和/或电池组中各电池上附连的标签的照片。平板设备104可以包括能够进行光学特征识别、快速响应(QR)代码或二维条形码识别的软件,或能够例如根据二维条形码的照片获得电池相关信息(例如,电池类型、电池CCA额定值等)的任何其它适合识别软件。一旦拍摄了电池的照片,平板设备104上下载的应用404可以自动尝试将从照片获得的电池识别信息与数据库106存储的信息进行匹配。接着,该应用可以自动开始电池测试模块102中的电池测试。一旦测试模块102成功获得了测量,将测量到的电池值发送给平板设备104,以上述方式自动更新数据库106。
图5是便携式平板设备的示例的简化框图。如图5所示,便携式平板设备500包括微处理器502、存储器504、输入/输出(I/O)组件506和通信接口508,其中通信接口508用于与远程计算机、其它便携式平板/移动设备和电池测试模块(例如,图1的102)进行通信。一个实施例中,便携式设备500的上述组件耦接为通过适当的总线510彼此通信。
存储器504可以包括非易失性电存储器,例如随机访问存储器(RAM)或任何其它适合的存储器。可以将存储器504的一部分分配为用于执行程序的可寻址存储器,而将存储器504的另一部分用于数据存储。
存储器504包括操作系统512、应用程序514和对象库(object store)516。在操作期间,可以由处理器502从存储器504执行操作系统512。可以将操作系统512设计用于便携式平板设备。至少部分地响应于对外露(exposed)应用编程界面和方法的调用,由应用514和操作系统512来保持对象库516的对象。
通信接口508表示允许便携式平板设备500发送和接收信息的多种设备和技术。例如,所述设备包括有线和无线的调制解调器、卫星接收器和广播调谐器。还可以将便携式平板设备500直接连接到计算机以便与之交换数据。这种情况下,通信接口508可以是红外收发器或串联或并联的通信连接,其全部能够发送流信息。
输入/输出组件506包括多种输入设备(例如,触摸敏感屏幕、按钮、麦克风、摄像机)和多种输出设备(包括音频产生器、振动设备和显示器)。上述设备仅是示例性的,不需要全部存在于便携式平板设备500上。此外,在本实施例的范围内,可以将其它输入/输出设备附着到便携式平板设备500或与便携式平板设备500一起提供。
尽管参考优选实施例描述了本发明,然而本技术领域工作人员应认识到可以在不脱离本发明的精神和范围的前提下,进行形式和细节上的多种改变。
Claims (20)
1.一种电池测试系统,包括:
电池测试模块,配置为与电池耦接,所述电池测试模块还配置为测量电池参数并发送测量到的电池参数;以及
便携式平板设备,配置为接收所发送的测量到的电池参数,所述便携式平板设备还配置为根据测量到的电池参数确定电池测试结果并显示所述电池测试结果。
2.根据权利要求1所述的电池测试系统,其中所述电池测试模块配置为无线发送测量到的电池参数。
3.根据权利要求2所述的电池测试系统,其中所述电池测试模块配置为通过蓝牙无线网络发送测量到的电池参数。
4.根据权利要求1所述的电池测试系统,其中所述电池测试模块没有用于键入电池相关信息的键盘。
5.根据权利要求1所述的电池测试系统,还包括:远程数据库,其中所述便携式平板设备配置为访问所述远程数据库。
6.根据权利要求1所述的电池测试系统,其中所述电池测试模块包括条形码扫描仪和射频识别RFID读取器中的至少一个。
7.根据权利要求1所述的电池测试系统,其中所述便携式平板设备包括使用户能够从远程服务器选择并下载电池测试应用的用户界面。
8.根据权利要求7所述的电池测试系统,其中所述用户界面响应于键入了有效用户名和口令,显示电池测试应用的列表。
9.根据权利要求1所述的电池测试系统,其中所述便携式平板设备配置为发起电池测试。
10.根据权利要求5所述的电池测试系统,其中所述便携式平板设备配置为用电池测试结果自动更新远程数据库。
11.一种方法,包括:
将电池模块与电池相连接;
利用电池测试模块测量电池参数;
利用电池测试模块发送测量到的电池参数;
在便携式平板设备中接收测量到的电池参数;
利用便携式平板设备根据测量到的电池参数确定电池测试结果;以及
利用便携式平板设备的显示单元显示电池测试结果。
12.根据权利要求11所述的方法,还包括:利用所述平板设备用电池测试结果更新远程数据库。
13.根据权利要求11所述的方法,还包括:利用所述电池测试模块从附连到电池的标签获得电池信息。
14.根据权利要求11所述的方法,还包括:利用所述便携式平板设备发起电池测试。
15.根据权利要求11所述的方法,还包括:利用所述便携式平板设备显示可从远程服务器下载的电池测试应用的列表。
16.根据权利要求15所述的方法,还包括:
利用所述便携式平板设备接收用户名和口令;
利用所述便携式平板设备验证所述用户名和口令;以及
当确定所述用户名和口令有效时,利用所述便携式平板设备从远程服务器下载至少一个电池测试应用。
17.一种方法,包括:
向便携式平板设备键入位置识别信息,所述位置识别信息指示要测试的电池组的位置;
通过便携式平板设备获得测试序列,所述测试序列指示对电池组中的电池进行测试的顺序;
利用便携式平板设备发起测试序列;
基于所述测试序列,对电池组中的各个电池应用电池测试模块;
利用测试模块向便携式平板设备发送从电池组中的各个电池获得的测量电池参数;以及
利用便携式平板设备计算针对电池组中的各个电池的测试结果;以及
在便携式平板设备的屏幕上显示所述测试结果。
18.根据权利要求17所述的方法,还包括:响应于向便携式平板设备键入位置标识,从远程数据库获得测试序列。
19.根据权利要求18所述的方法,还包括:利用平板设备用所述电池测试结果更新远程数据库。
20.根据权利要求17所述的方法,还包括:利用电池测试模块从附连到电池的标签获得电池信息。
