技术领域
本申请案涉及管道配件和附件和采用这些管道配件和附件的用于冲洗、淋浴、沐浴和类似功能的供水系统和装置。本文公开的概念特别但不唯一适用于混合阀(mixervalves)(或被称作“混合阀(mixing valves)”),尤其是恒温混合阀。更具体地说,本申请案涉及用于对混合阀热消毒的配置。
背景技术
分配经掺合流体诸如水(例如,热供应和冷供应,混合至大致40℃的典型冲洗/淋浴温度)的混合阀可能易于藏匿微生物。这些微生物可透过供水或透过回溅至喷水管出口而进入阀门。这个问题特别成问题,因为微生物特别易于在35℃至45℃的温度范围内繁殖。微生物存在于用于冲洗/淋浴的水路中会造成健康风险,其中这些微生物可能包含在从混合阀排出的水中。例如,在冲洗/淋浴时,存在于水中的微生物可能透过皮肤的切口和擦伤处进入人体或可能被吸入。
这些问题可能因其它因素而加剧,尤其包括在阀门组件中使用特定聚合物或弹性体,其提供适当生长环境使微生物维持存活状态和/或促进微生物生长和发育;阀门内静水区的存在,其中水可能被截留在低流通区域中;一旦关闭阀门内容纳的高体积残余水;和阀门内大片湿润区域。
已知采用热消毒例行程序,其中热水用于灭杀/消除用于冲洗/淋浴的水路中的微生物。这些消毒例行程序涉及用高温(通常至少60℃)水清洗水路达足以灭杀或消除来自阀门的微生物的时间。
但是在用于冲洗/淋浴的水路中使用这些热水消毒/清洁例行程序可能导致其它问题。例如,如果使用者接触排出的热水,那么使用者可能遭受由高温水引起的暴露皮肤烫伤或身体不适。另一个问题涉及与提供和维持高(高于60℃)热水温达足以执行清洁例行程序的持续时间周期相关的成本和其它困难。这种热水还可能非预期在周围区域中产生过量蒸汽且水流/水噪音可能打扰房间居住者(例如,在病房或在水路附近可能有人的其它场所中)。另一个问题涉及仅接触热水供应的水路的区域能被充分清洁或消毒,导致水路仅接触冷水的其它区域可能无法被充分清洁的事实。
可有利地提供一种改进的阀门和/或清洁方法以解决一个或多个上述挑战。
发明内容
示例性实施方案涉及管道组件,其包括提供在管道组件的一部分内且被构造来控制穿过管道组件的水流量的阀门。阀门包括主体和主体内的至少一个水路。电加热器延伸穿过阀门主体的至少一部分且被构造来将主体的至少一部分加热至足以灭杀水路内的微生物的高温。
另一个示例性实施方案涉及输水组件,其被构造来由使用者接合用于根据使用者的指示提供水。输水组件包括提供在输水组件的一部分内的混合阀,混合阀包括用于接收冷水的第一入口和用于接收热水的第二入口。混合阀被构造来在提供在混合阀内的混合腔室中混合热水和冷水。加热元件延伸穿过混合阀的至少一部分且被构造来将混合阀的至少一部分加热至足以灭杀可能在混合阀内的微生物的高温。

具体实施方式
根据示例性实施方案,管道附件、阀门(例如,流量控制阀、混合阀等)和/或与管道配件和/或阀门相关的管道附件包括用于加热其导热水接触零件的电加热装置。每个这些项目包括内部通道(例如,水路),其包括可能隐匿细菌或其它微生物的壁或表面。根据示例性实施方案,本文所述的加热元件可能可操作以将这些组件的导热部分加热至足以灭杀或另外处置这些不需要的微生物的高温。
根据一个实施方案,流量控制阀(即,只接收单个流体源的阀门,诸如用于即时热水喷水管中的阀门)包括提供为邻近或接触流量控制阀以加热流量控制阀的所有或一部分的电加热装置。应注意虽然本描述提及不同组件作为输水系统和组件的一部分,但是应了解本文讨论的概念可用于针对除水以外的流体的其它类型的流体输送系统中。
根据另一个示例性实施方案,混合阀(mixer valve)(或被称作混合阀(mixingvalve)且涉及接收多个流体源并且提供腔室用于将流体源混合在一起的阀门)包括提供为邻近或接触阀门以加热阀门的所有或一部分的电加热装置。
根据另一个示例性实施方案,管道配件或管道附件(例如,水龙头、淋浴喷头、浴盆喷水管或任意其它类型的输水源或组件)包括提供为邻近或接触管道附件以加热管道附件的所有或一部分的电加热装置。应了解管道配件或附件可包括相关阀门(例如,流量控制阀、混合阀等),其可包括其自身的相关电加热装置,可与用于管道配件或附件的阀门共用电加热装置或可不包括相关电加热装置(例如,如在阀门和管道配件或附件的一部分两者由导热材料(诸如金属)制成且阀门与管道附件的一部分彼此接触的情况下,施加至管道配件或附件的热可足以通过传导或对流加热阀门)。
根据一个示例性实施方案,使用阀门、管道配件和/或管道附件的导热水接触零件的组合结合电加热使得受控热消毒可通过将导热水接触零件加热至足以灭杀微生物的温度而执行。这种热消毒循环可在预定温度下执行达足以灭杀或另外处置可能存在的微生物的预定时间量。
水接触零件(即,与水接触的那些零件)可由导热材料(诸如金属或合金)制成。根据示例性实施方案,水接触零件可完全或部分由包括铜的材料制成,诸如铜、铜合金(例如,黄铜、青铜等)和包括铜的其它合金或材料。使用含铜材料的一个有利特征是这些材料已知具有良好的抗菌性质。
根据示例性实施方案,阀门、管道附件和/或管道配件可具有形成在导热材料(例如,金属或含金属材料等)的主体中的水路。或者或此外,水路可用导热材料作为衬里。
电加热可由电阻加热元件提供。这样一种加热元件可为相对低功率种类,诸如,例如高至50瓦。根据另一个示例性实施方案,加热元件可具有高至25瓦的功率。根据另一个示例性实施方案,加热元件可具有高至10瓦的功率。可能的是功率消耗可通过减小待加热零件的热质量和/或通过将待加热零件与阀门、配件或其中可能采用阀门或配件的管道附件的其它零件绝缘而最小化。根据其它示例性实施方案,可能现在已知或在将来开发的除电阻加热元件以外的加热元件可在本文所述概念的背景下采用且这些其它类型的加热元件旨在属于本公开的范围内。
根据示例性实施方案,管道配件可被构造来混合热水供应和冷水供应并且提供具有用于冲洗/淋浴的所要温度的掺合水源。例如,管道配件可能是混合阀。
根据另一个示例性实施方案,一种消毒阀门、管道配件或管道附件中的水路的方法包括在阀门、管道配件或管道附件的导热零件中提 供水路且提供电加热装置以加热导热零件。这种方法还可包括使加热装置的温度升高至预定温度达足以灭杀或另外处置可能存在的微生物的预定时间周期。
现参考附图,图1和图2示出混合阀1且图3示出采用混合阀1的管道附件3。在本实施方案中,管道附件3是用于输送水至面盆或水槽(未示出)的水龙头,但是阅读本申请案者应了解这样一种构造并非旨在限制且(例如)混合阀1可用于其它管道附件(诸如淋浴喷头、浴缸喷水管或其它输水组件)中。
混合阀1包括主体5,其具有用于连接至热水供应和冷水供应的入口7、9和用于温度受控水的出口11。主体5包括中心区段5a和中心区段5a的相对末端上的末端区段5b、5c。
入口7、9提供在中心区段5a中且出口11提供在末端区段5c中。区段5a、5b、5c由导热材料(诸如金属或合金)制成且根据示例性实施方案由铜或铜合金材料(诸如黄铜)制成。根据示例性实施方案,区段5a、5b、5c以液密方式固定在一起。
两个流量控制阀13(其中图2和图3只示出一个)容纳在中心区段5a内。每个流量控制阀13与各自入口7、9连通且可操作以提供水流量至中心区段5a内与末端区段5c中的出口11连通的混合腔室15。
每个流量控制阀13可操作以将被允许进入混合腔室15的水流量从零流量(阀门闭合)至最大流量(阀门完全打开)。在本实施方案中,每个流量控制阀13由电机17、19控制,诸如安装在阀体5的末端区段5c上的步进电机。电机17、19可操作而以线性方式移动每个流体控制阀以打开或闭合阀门。
被允许进入混合腔室15的各热水和冷水的流量可在从零流量至最大流量的范围内无限可变以提供所要出口水温度和流速。
电机17、19可由电子控制器(诸如微处理器)控制,所述电子控制器可由并入管道附件3的控制面板21(诸如印刷电路板(见图3))提供。在本实施方案中,管道附件3具有主体23,其在底座中具有内凹区域,其中接收混合阀1和控制面板21且来自混合阀1的出口11向在主体23内延伸至出口27的内部通路25开放。
控制器可接收来自管道附件3上或附近的使用者界面(未示出)的所要出口水温度的输入和来自配置在混合阀1的出口11中以监测流动穿过通路25至管道附件3的出口27的出口水温度的传感器29的实际出口水温度的输入。电机17、19可由控制器响应于输入控制以调整流量控制阀13以实现和维持所要出口水温度。
控制器还可接收来自使用者界面的所要出口水流速的输入和来自被配置来监测通路25中的出口水流速的传感器(未示出)的实际出口水流速的输入。电机17、19可由控制器响应于输入控制以调整流量控制阀13以实现和维持所要出口水流速。
通过采用单独电机17、19以控制流量控制阀13,可通过每个流量控制阀13的适当控制独立或组合调整出口水温度和/或流速以提供任意所要出口水温度和/或流速。
根据示例性实施方案,管道附件3配有内衬31,其作为通路25的内衬且由导热材料(优选地金属或合金,尤其是铜或铜合金,诸如类似于混合阀1的主体5的黄铜)制成。
内衬31可在插入混合阀1之前(例如)经由内凹区域插入主体23中,使得内衬31的一端抵着混合阀1的主体5座落且混合阀1的出口11抵着内衬31的另一端座落,适当密封件诸如O形环(未示出)提供在邻近面之间以防止水泄漏。
使用这种配置,实际上混合阀1和管道附件3的所有水接触表面由金属或合金(尤其是黄铜)制成。金属或合金(尤其是黄铜)的使 用可利于帮助控制混合阀1和管道附件3的水路内的细菌的生长。因此,与金属或合金相比,生物膜更易于形成在塑料上且细菌通过与特定金属或合金(尤其是含铜诸如黄铜的金属或合金)接触而被灭杀。
但是,将黄铜用作水路的内表面无法抑制可随水流量从管道附件排出且给人带来健康危害的细菌或其它潜在有害微生物的生长。
为了进一步减少并且可能消除混合阀1和管道附件3内细菌和微生物的存在,优选地执行热消毒例行程序以灭杀混合阀1和管道附件3的水路内的任何细菌或微生物。
因此,混合阀1配有使用导热粘合剂37封入主体5中的通孔35中的电加热元件或加热器33。加热器33可为电阻线加热器的形式并且可为低功率,例如大约10瓦。
主体23可由热绝缘材料制成,其可有利地允许流体的热加热使用较小功率且为喷水管提供相对冷的外表面。
管道附件3还配有安置在内衬31外的电加热器39。加热器39可为电阻线加热线圈的形式并且可类似于加热器33为低功率。
电加热器33和39被定大小和定位来提供热源,所述热源能够将混合阀1的主体5和管道附件3的主体23/内衬31连同内部湿表面和滞留水的温度提高至超过60℃的温度用于执行热消毒例行程序。
电加热器33、39可由控制电机17、19的电子控制器控制。控制器可经由来自用于监测出口水温度的温度传感器29的温度输入接收有关混合阀1的主体5和管道附件3的主体23/内衬31内的加热水平的反馈。根据另一个示例性实施方案,单独温度传感器可用于消毒例行程序。根据另一个示例性实施方案,超过一个温度传感器可提供用于在热消毒循环期间监测和提供不同位置上的加热水平的反馈。
消毒例行程序期间监测加热水平使消毒例行程序能被完全管控 至安全。可控制温度以实现和维持适当高温达适当时间周期用于对水路有效消毒。温度、时间和日期的细节可由控制器记录和存储供以后检索以检查和确认消毒已适当执行。
控制器可被编程来定期安排消毒例行程序并且可在任意方便时间,例如在管道附件3可能未使用的夜晚起始消毒循环。消毒例行程序可自动起始。或者,控制器可接收输入以起始消毒例行程序。输入可透过使用者界面提供。或者,输入可经由单独控制装置提供以减小消毒例行程序意外触发的风险。
通过使用电加热器33、39加热混合阀1的主体5和管道附件3的主体23/内衬31,温度可保持在比在热水系统内所正常实现的高得多的水平并且因此与采用用热水加热阀门1的主体5和管道附件3的主体23/内衬31的消毒例行程序相比在根除微生物上要有效得多。
混合阀1的使用可在消毒例行程序发生时停用以防止非常热的水排出,其可能带来烫伤风险。混合阀1可在加热循环已完成后停用达一段时间周期以允许混合阀1的主体5和管道附件3的主体23连同残留在水路中的任何水冷却至安全温度供混合阀1使用。这可由温度传感器29监测以确保安全得以维持。
设想可通过减小待加热零件的热质量和/或通过使阀体5外部绝缘和/或通过加热器39与管道附件3的外表面之间的绝缘使功率消耗减小或最小化且使周边零件(诸如控制面板)的过度加热减小或最小化。图3示出(例如)围绕加热器39的一层绝缘层41。
使用电加热执行消毒例行程序具有超越且高于使用热水对混合阀和龙头热消毒的当前惯例的许多优点。例如,使用电加热元件允许消毒例行程序在不使用热水的情况下完成,其减小或消除烫伤风险。其也消除担忧维持高(高于60℃)热水温度的需要并且也消除对产生可能干扰(例如,医院病房或其它人多环境中的)房间居住者的过量蒸汽和水流/水噪音的忧虑。热水供应区域和冷水供应区域两者可 使用电加热元件同时消毒使得组件的所有水接触区域被消毒。
虽然本申请案中所述的管道配件已被描述为电子控制的混合阀,但是根据其它示例性实施方案可将相同原理应用于非电子混合阀。
虽然本文所述的管道附件具有黄铜内衬,但是这种内衬和/或材料的使用可能不是必要的。因此,内衬可省略且管道附件的主体可由黄铜或另一种含铜材料(或视情况,其它类型的金属或导热材料)制成。以此形式,加热元件可类似于内建至混合阀主体中的加热元件而内建至主体中。图4示出位于管道附件主体23中的通道43中的加热元件39。
虽然本文所述的管道附件具有由金属或合金制成的主体,但是这可能不是必要的。因此,管道附件的主体可由与混合阀的内衬和主体相比具有低导热性的材料制成,例如能够承受热消毒例行程序期间产生的热的特定塑料材料。
虽然本文所述的管道附件包括管道配件,但是这可能不是必要的。因此,管道附件可具有水路以从单独的管道配件接收水,其具有加热装置以对水路进行消毒。
图5是采用诸如本文所述的加热元件的加热元件的混合阀50的另一个示例性实施方案的透视图。混合阀50围封在阀壳52内。外壳52中的孔隙53形成用于接收第一流体(在本实施方案中是冷水)的第一流体入口54。类似地,如图2所示,外壳52包括类似于相对侧中的孔隙53的形成用于接收第二流体(在本实施方案中是热水)的第二流体入口56的另一个孔隙55及其末端中形成用于输出第一流体或第二流体或其混合物的流体出口的另一个孔隙57。与图1所示的混合阀1相比,出口54、56并非在混合阀3的相同面上而是在混合阀3的相对侧上。
如使用图1所示的混合阀1,混合阀50配有使用导热粘合剂(未 示出,但类似于图2所示的粘合剂37)封装在主体52中的通孔65中的电加热元件或加热器63。
应了解是否使用混合阀(诸如混合阀1或混合阀50)可取决于不同考虑,诸如混合阀将安装至其中的组件的几何形,用于将流体输送管或软管铺设至混合阀的可用空间和阅读本公开者所了解的其它考虑。
还应注意虽然混合阀1和50被描述为具有形成在其外壳中的开口(加热元件(例如,33、63)穿过所述开口),但是根据其它示例性实施方案,其它构造可能是可行的。例如,加热元件可提供为邻近或接触阀门外壳的外表面。在一个实例中,加热元件可提供在耦合至或接触阀壳的外表面的另一个组件(例如,被构造来将热从加热元件转移至阀体的导热组件)中。单个组件可具有与如图1所示加热元件延伸穿过的部分相同或不同的几何形。

淋浴喷头70包括可移动手持淋浴头并且包括可插入淋浴房(未示出)的淋浴喷头座中的主干71。淋浴喷头70或可是被配置成固定至壁并且从壁上突出的固定淋浴喷头。
淋浴喷头70包括喷头73,其提供多个出口用于在使用时排水以提供多种不同喷射方式。在一个配置中,喷头73在相对侧中且任选 地在一个或多个侧边缘上具有出口。喷头73可在实质圆形喷头支座78内围绕直径相对枢轴79旋转以选择出口进行使用。
根据其它示例性实施方案,可使用其它类型的喷头,包括被构造来仅提供单个喷射方式的喷头和不同于图6和图7所示的喷头73操作以提供多个喷射方式的喷头。
淋浴喷头主干71接收混合阀1连同控制器75。主干71包括两个管道——冷水供应管道74和热水供应管道(不可见)。冷水管道74连接至第一流体入口4且热水管道连接至混合阀1的第二流体入口(未示出)。混合阀1的流体出口8通过出口管道76连接至喷头73。出口管道76延伸穿过喷头支座78并且透过枢轴79进入喷头73。
控制器75提供控制信号至混合阀1用于根据经由界面(不可见)的使用者选择控制输送至喷头73的出口水的流速和温度。界面可配置在主干71上以允许使用者选择其想要的出口水的流速和温度。界面可能是包括用于选择流速和/或温度的一个或多个可旋转旋钮或线性滑动器或按钮的实体界面。或者,界面可能是使用触屏技术或类似技术的虚拟界面。界面可包括用于提供流速和/或温度的视觉指示的显示器。显示器可能是数值的数字显示器和/或视觉显示器(诸如灯阵列)。
在其它实施方案中,界面可被并入经由有线或无线链接与控制器75通信的遥控中。因此,如果淋浴喷头70是固定型,那么控制器75可从远程安装于淋浴喷头70的界面接收控制信号。
现参考图8和图9,示出管道配件的实施方案,其包括流体输送装置,诸如并入具有加热元件33的混合阀1的水龙头80。混合阀1类似于先前实施方案且相同参考数字用于指示相应零件。
水龙头80可能是龙头的形式并且包括底座81,所述水龙头80通过所述底座81固定至支撑表面,诸如水槽或台面(诸如厨房或浴 室台面)。水龙头80包括提供水出口进行使用的多孔板83。水龙头80接收混合阀1连同控制器(例如,控制器,诸如上文所述的控制器75)。水龙头80具有主干部分(有时被称作“喷水管”)和两个管道——冷水供应管道84和热水供应管道85。冷水管道84连接至第一流体入口4且热水供应连接至混合阀1的第二流体入口(不可见)。混合阀1的流体出口8通过出口管道86连接至板83。
控制器(未示出)提供控制信号至混合阀1用于根据经由底座81上的界面87的使用者选择控制输送至板83的出口水的流速和温度以允许使用者选择其想要的流速和温度。界面87包括用于输入设定的触敏面板87a和示出水温的显示器89b。应了解界面87可为用于接收用于控制混合阀1的使用者输入的任意适当形式。还应了解可采用类似类型的使用者界面作为本文所述的其它管道附件和配件的部分或邻近它们(例如,在淋浴喷头或其主干上或邻近它、在浴盆喷水管上或邻近它等)。
传统水龙头需要固定至支撑表面的阀座且喷水管随后从阀座延伸至需分配水的通道。本实施方案是有利的,因为混合阀归因于其微型化(即,尺寸减小)的能力可被并入喷水管而无需阀座。此外,外壳2的矩形形状为设计者提供采用水龙头的主干部分(喷水管)的不同构造的机会。
图10是包括用于控制多个阀门120、122、124和126的控制器110的系统100的示意图。虽然四个阀门示于图10中,但是应注意任意数量的阀门可连接至控制器110,其可能位于一个或多个阀门附近或远离它们。

与阀门120、122、124和126的每一个相关的一个或多个控制器121、123、125和127可包括时钟功能,其可能(例如)可编程使得电机和/或加热元件按预定间隔、按预定时间和在阀门上次使用后的预定时间(例如,在使用者淋浴后15分钟)或在阅读本公开者了解的任意其它所需时间打开。时钟功能可被并入控制器或可由与阀门、加热元件和/或控制器通信的单独组件提供。根据其它示例性实施方案,电机或加热元件的定时可诸如通过控制器110远程控制。根据其它示例性实施方案,阀门、电机、加热元件等可取代或补充时钟机构手动控制(例如,阀门可被安排来在早上2点,在阀门使用者启动阀门后15分钟经历加热循环且加热循环也可(例如)通过使用控制器110在阀门位置上或远程手动触发)。
控制器110可被构造来发送信号至控制器121、123、125和127、121、123、125和127的每一个以操作阀门、电机和/或加热元件。如上所述,根据另一个示例性实施方案,控制器110可与阀门、电机和 /或加热元件直接通信而无需与阀门的每一个相关的控制器。控制器110可经由有线或无线通信方法与控制器通信(或与阀门、电机和/或加热元件直接通信)。例如,根据一个示例性实施方案,控制器、阀门和/或电机的每一个可与远程定位于不同阀门的中央控制器110直接有线通信。在特定实例中,医院、宾馆、公寓大厦或其它场所可具有遍及大楼的许多阀门且中央控制器(诸如控制器110)可用于针对所有阀门或阀门的子集控制手动和/或定时致动和/或加热/清洁循环。如上所述,阀门的致动可手动和/或按安排时间或时间间隔完成并且可由与阀门的每一个相关的中央控制器和/或个别控制器控制。
图11图示流程图,其图示针对阀门(诸如本文所述的阀门)执行加热/清洁循环的方法100。在第一步骤110中,确定清洁循环是否必要。可进行这种确定(例如)作为预定安排或程序的一部分(例如,按预设时间、按预设定时间隔、按阀门使用后的一定预设时间等)并且可在与每个阀门相关的控制器上确定或可在与多个阀门相关的中央控制器上确定。
在确定加热/清洁循环必要后,加热/清洁循环在步骤220中起始。加热/清洁循环可涉及(例如)在步骤230中,将与阀门相关的加热元件(和/或阀门所相关的附件或配件)加热至所要温度并且使其保持所述温度达所需时间量或在超过一个温度之间循环温度,理想地按足以对阀门(和/或附件或配件)的水接触零件消毒诸如以灭杀可能存在的微生物的温度/时间。
除加热/清洁循环的加热组件外,阀门可任选地被操作以允许水流动穿过阀门和相关配件/附件的通路以允许清洗可能存在的材料或微生物。阀门允许水流动的这种启动也可由与阀门相关的控制器或由与阀门或相关控制器、电机等通信的遥控引导。
一旦加热/清洁循环完成,循环就在步骤240中终止。终止可在预定时间之后、在加热元件和/或阀门处于所要温度达预定时间之后 或在需要停止加热/清洁循环的任意其它点发生。
还可通过远程起始加热/清洁(如从控制器110)或通过在阀门的位置上直接输入所要命令而手动执行加热/清洁循环。例如,在水龙头包括被构造来允许清洁循环的起始的开关或使用者界面的情况下,预定时间/温度的循环可在这种起始时执行。

Claims (17)

1.一种对被构造用作输水系统的部分的阀门消毒的方法,所述方法包括:
启用被构造来将所述阀门的主体加热至足以灭杀可能存在于所述阀门的内表面上的生物体的温度的加热元件,其中所述加热元件和所述阀门被构造来提供在所述输水系统内,其中所述阀门是混合阀;
其中启用加热元件的所述步骤包括利用与所述阀门相关的控制器以启用所述加热元件,其中所述控制器位于输水系统的主体的容纳混合阀的内凹区域内。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其还包括使所述阀门的所述主体保持在所述温度持续预定时间量,并使混合阀在所述预定时间量期间停用。
3.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中启用所述加热元件的所述步骤在所述阀门使用后的预定时间执行。
4.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中启用所述加热元件的步骤在预定时间执行。
5.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中启用所述加热元件的步骤按预定时间间隔执行。

12.根据权利要求11所述的方法,其中所述水接触表面是提供在所述管道附件内的内衬的部分且所述内衬接触提供在所述管道附件内的所述电加热元件。
13.根据权利要求10所述的方法,其中启用加热元件的所述步骤包括利用与所述阀门相关的控制器以启用所述加热元件,其中所述控制器位于所述水龙头、所述管道附件或所述淋浴喷头总成的主体的容纳混合阀的内凹区域内。

启用被构造来将所述阀门的主体加热至足以灭杀可能存在于所述阀门的内表面上的生物体的温度的加热元件,其中所述加热元件和所述阀门被构造来提供在所述输水系统内,其中所述阀门是混合阀;以及停用所述阀门以防止流体在所述加热元件被启用时穿过所述阀门;
所述输水系统包括水龙头、管道配件或淋浴喷头总成,且所述加热元件和所述阀门在所述水龙头、所述管道配件或所述淋浴喷头总成的主体内;
启用加热元件的所述步骤包括利用与所述阀门相关的控制器以启用所述加热元件,其中所述控制器位于所述水龙头、所述管道附件或所述淋浴喷头总成的主体的容纳混合阀的内凹区域内。
15.根据权利要求1至5、14中任一项所述的方法,其中通过使用导热粘合剂将所述加热元件封入所述混合阀中。
16.根据权利要求1至5、14中任一项所述的方法,其中所述加热元件延伸穿过所述阀门的所述主体。
17.根据权利要求1至5、14中任一项所述的方法,其中所述加热元件是电阻线加热元件。
