Abstract

Description

带针头护套的导管
本发明涉及静脉输液导管,具体涉及使用后罩住针尖以防止用过的针头意外伤人的静脉输液导管装置。
将液体输入病人外围静脉内的静脉输液导管是静脉施药治疗法所用的最常用的装置中的一种。静脉输液导管以两大类型式提供:一种是针头内导管,这种导管在针头管内穿过并进入病人的静脉里;另一种是套针头导管,针头跟同心的外导管一起插入静脉里,针头在导管内通过安置就位的导管抽出。
一种典型的套针头静脉输液导管要求使用者在针尖与导管在病人血管内正确安置后取出沾污了的针头并随后将其处置掉。一当针头从导管内抽出,使用者当前要优先处置的事情是输液装置的连接和输液部位的处理,包括将导管贴牢在病人身上。由于这些操作的紧迫性,通常只是把针头在就近方便的地方放下然后在后些时间才取走。由于此时针头是外露的、并且放在靠近使用者在完成导管处理工作的部位,因此意外的、自致的针头伤害不是不常有的事情。由于客观需要保护使用者使之免受诸如肝炎与爱滋病这类的血液携带的疾病的感染,保护使用者使之免受意外的针头伤害的要求在增长。
在美国专利4,762,516中,示出一种面对这个要求的导管设计。在该专利中示出的导管包括有一个其内装有一个滑动的针头护套的长形本体。在使用时,针头连同包围着它的导管管子一起插入、透过病人的皮肤直到针尖放置入一根血管内,进入血管的情况由通过针头进入导管的闪现腔的一小股血液流来测定。使用者然后将一个在针头护套顶端上的凸耳往前推进、同时将导管管子穿入血管内,并开始把针头从导管管子里撤出。在针头从安置就位的导管里抽出时,向前推进凸耳使针头护套沿着针头滑出壳体,直到护套的远端罩住针尖、护套的近端卡住在长形本体内时为止。随着,针头和护套就可以放在一边,针尖完全被包围住。
尽管该专利所描述的装置能提供对意外针头伤害的完全保护,但是还是希望提供一种小手能够容易操纵的、结构较小并能平稳地操作的导管装置。根据本发明的原理,提供一种设有一个在上表面上打开的半管状针头壳体的、带有针头护套的导管装置。在壳体内设有一个闪现腔,针头从腔的远端外伸,伸出壳体末端之外。一个管状的针头护套放置在半管状针头壳体内以便作朝远端的运动,并且这针头护套在远端具有一个针头穿过它向外伸展的开孔。针头护套在底部开了槽以跟闪现腔的底脚配合。在针头护套的槽的后部有一个锁定机构部份,这机构在针头护套外伸到罩住针头时跟针头壳体接合并锁住在其内。
在本发明的一个优选的实施例中,针头护套包括有一个使导管衬套能够装套到针头护套端部上的、分立的端部件。使用一个分立的端部还便于自动化装配,不给尖锐的针尖带来损坏。在针头护套往外伸时,端部件的远端伸越针尖。这优选实施例的针头壳体在每侧还设有一个一体制出的、制有成形外形的手指夹持部。该导管装置还设有一个保护性鞘套以在使用前保护住导管与针头。

首先参看图1,示出按本发明的原理构造的一个导管装置10。该装置10包括有一个半管状的、并在顶部打开的针头壳体20。在针头壳体20的两侧上模制有相对的、带有成形外形的手指夹持部22,在图1上可看见其中的一个。有一个管状针头护套30设置在半管状的针头壳体内并从其上向近方伸展。在针头护套的上表面上有多个提供使用者可以按在其上将针头护套完全伸出的表面的小凸起部32。这些凸起部让使用者在用一只手拿着该导管装置时能够用食指或其它指头将针头护套伸出。从针头壳体20上向远方伸展的是一个罩住向远方伸展的针头与导管的保护性鞘套40。
图2示出在取下鞘套40后的图1的装置。图中示出装在针头护套30远端上的导管50及其导管衬套52。可以看到针头24的针尖从导管50的远侧端部伸出。有一个推出凸耳34从针头护套靠近导管衬套52处朝上伸出。
图3示出在导管及其衬套装到针头护套远端上以前的图2的装置。设置在针头护套远端上的是一个针头24通过它伸出的针头护套端部60。图4示出在针头护套30已伸出将针头24罩住后的图3的装置。在此状态下,针头护套在针头壳体内被锁定在其伸出位置上,针尖缩入在针头护套端部60内。
图5是图2的导管装置的一个剖视图。导管50从导管衬套52的远端54伸出并与之同心。导管可以用本领域公知的任何方式固定到其衬套上,包括粘结方式或用一个金属眼圈的机械方式。导管衬套52的较大直径的近端部份56在其近端制出突缘用以跟一套输液装置连接,并且衬套近端部分的内径设计成使之适配在针头护套端部60的远端部分上。
针头24固定到针头壳体的闪现腔26的远端上,针头的近端在腔内收尾。针头24用粘结剂固定就位。针头伸展穿过针头护套端部60、导管衬套52及导管50,针尖从导管远端伸出。闪现腔26的后端用一个微孔塞子70塞住。针头护套从针头壳体后端外伸,针头护套端部60在推出凸耳34的部位固定到针头护套的远端上。管状针头护套包围着闪现腔26,闪现腔的底脚27放置在在针头护套底部的一个纵向槽36内。当针头护套朝远端方向滑动来罩住针头时,由于针头壳体与针头护套的同心管状结构,和由于闪现腔的底脚27在针头护套槽36内导引,针头护套跟针头壳体保持同心。
按本发明构造的导管装置的针头壳体示出在图6a、6b、6c及6d中。在图6a这个顶视图中,在壳体的两侧有带成形外形的手指夹持部22。在壳体的远端形成有一个突缘72。闪现腔26设置在壳体的中心。在图6b这个剖视图上,闪现腔的、针头固定在其上的远端部分伸展越出闪现腔的底脚27。为针头24而设的远端开口78制成喇叭口,并且用粘接剂来填充这个喇叭口空间以将针头固定到闪现腔上。均匀地围绕着闪现腔的远端形成有三根筋86以便在模制成形过程中提供更均匀的物料流动。闪现腔的近端开口76稍带喇叭口以便于多孔的闪流塞子70的塞入。一个矩形开口74形成在闪现腔26下面的壳体的底部中,并朝上伸展进入闪现腔的底脚27内。
在图6c这个针头壳体的远端的端视图中,示出了壳体的、跟管状针头护套匹配并将护套容纳在其内的本体80。闪现腔26设置在该本体的中心,从其底脚27往上伸展。在图上还可以看到位于壳体本体两侧的手指夹持部22。
在图6d这个针头壳体的仰视图中,示出了形成在壳体底部里的开口74。在开口74的远近两侧以虚拟线示出的是闪现腔底脚27。如虚拟线82所示,底脚27在开口74近侧的一段从一个倒圆的顶端带斜度地扩大到开口74处成一个较大的宽度。如在下面说明的那样,这个带斜度的底脚跟开口构成导管装置的针头护套的锁定机构的一个组成部分。底脚的远侧的一段84也制成带斜度以便于针头护套与壳体的装配。
适合于跟图6a至6d的针头壳体一起使用的针头护套示出在图7a、7b与7c中。图7a示出带着其近端推出凸耳34与上部凸起部32的管状针头护套30。管子中心开孔的远端90被成形来接纳将在下面讨论的针头护套端部60插入其内。图7b是针头护套的带着纵向槽36的底部的视图。槽36在其近端92缩窄以构成针头护套锁定机构的一个组成部分。图7c是针头护套30的远端视图,示出护套的管状构形。管状结构的外表面96在图6a至6d的针头壳体的半管状结构80内平稳地滑动。
在图8中以剖面图示出了一个适合于跟图7a至7c的针头护套一起使用的针头护套端部60。端部60的近端62设计成使之适配在针头护套30的远端开口90内。端部的近端插入针头护套内,直到端部的台肩63跟护套的远端接触上为止。端部60的中间部分64在其内外表面上都制有斜度。端部60的远端66倒圆并打开作为针头穿过端部的通道。
在图9a与9b中示出了一个适合于跟图6a至6d的针头壳体一起使用的保护性鞘套40。该鞘套可脱开地连接到针头壳体的远端上并且具有足够的长度来将导管和针头罩住。鞘套的本体46从鞘套的远端48到在近端的突缘44稍带斜度。在凸缘44的顶部有一个用来在导管使用前将鞘套从导管装置上脱开的脱开凸耳42。突缘44的内径设计成使之适配在针头壳体的远端突缘72上。如图9b所示,在突缘44的内表面上形成有三个给鞘套40跟壳体突缘72提供可靠的连接的凸起部94。图9b还示出鞘套的外周边由一系列的、由小圆弧表面连接起来的平直表面组成,以阻止导管装置滚动。
图10示出由针头24、针头壳体20、针头护套30、多孔的闪流塞子70与针头护套端部60组成的分组件。装配可以从将闪流塞子70插入闪现腔26的近端内开始。将针头24插入闪现腔的远端内并用粘结剂固定就位。将针头与壳体垂直朝上,针头护套30套着针头往下落。针头护套的大的内开孔将针头护套跟针尖接触的可能性降到最低,这个对防止尖锐的针尖在装配中受到损伤是很重要的。针头护套随后从壳体的远端滑进针头壳体内。闪现腔底脚的带斜度的远端84跟护套槽36的近端接合,将针头护套沿着闪现腔的底脚27导入壳体内。护套与壳体相对滑动,直到槽36的缩窄的近端92跟壳体的开口74接合,使两个组成件锁定在一起。用一个工具插入开口74和槽36内将槽36的缩窄部分92撑开,从而让针头护套全部进入针头壳体内。
但是,针头护套与壳体的同心管状构造也允许针头护套从壳体的近端滑入壳体。这个装配方式比上述的从远端进入的方式好,因为这样来装配导管装置,就不需要使针头护套通过锁定位置,从而也就不需要在装配过程中分开护套槽的缩窄部分92。
将针头护套的远端伸越壳体的远端,将针头护套端部60套着针头往下放。该小端部可以准确地以其中心通道对准针头使护套端部可以套着针头滑入而不损及针尖。当护套端部的近端62跟针头护套的远端开口90完全接合时,将这个组成件用超声焊接在一起。这个由两件组成的针头护套就这样能够使导管装置的装配不致伤及针头。针头护套及其端部随后完全滑入针头壳体内,如图10所示。导管50及其衬套52然后套在针头24上滑动,直到导管衬套52牢靠地安置在针头护套端部的带斜度表面64上,如图5所示。随后,保护性鞘套可以套住导管及针头滑入并卡在针头壳体突缘72上。这时导管装置已装配好,准备付用。
图5的导管装置可以按常规方式使用,将同心的导管与针头穿过病人的皮肤进入血管内。当针尖正确地放置在血管中时,小量的血液将流过针头进入闪现腔26。由于针头壳体与护套是用透明的或半透明的聚合材料制成,因此血液流会在闪现腔内容易地被察觉。针头随后从血管抽出,用姆指与手指夹住壳体的手指夹持部22并用一只手指将推出凸耳34推向远方来将导管50穿进血管内。这个动作将会使导管衬套52随着针头护套端部60推离,将导管往前推进。当针头护套从针头壳体的远端伸出到推出凸耳34超越使用者手指能触及的范围时,使用者可以手指跟凸起部32接触,继续将针头护套推向远方。
最后,这个动作将导致导管正确地穿入血管内和导致针头完全从病人身体抽出。针头护套30此时将向其最大的伸出量推进,如图11所示。在针头护套推进过程中,闪现腔底脚的带斜度的近侧一段82将会将针头护套槽36的缩窄的近端部分92撑开,直到缩窄部分92最后跟开口74接合上为止。在针头护套从壳体外伸至最大伸出量时,缩窄部分92接合在开口74内将把针头护套锁住在其保护位置上,如图11所示。此时可将针头、壳体与护套放在一边,不担心会给使用者或他人带来不经意的损伤。

Claims (12)

1.一种导管装置,它包含有:
一个具有一个远端、一个表面面向病人的底部和一个打开的顶部的半管状针头壳体;
一个从该针头壳体的远端伸展的空心针头;
一个可滑动地设置在该针头壳体内并在其远端包括有用以跟一个导管衬套接合的装置的管状针头护套,该远端具有一个用作该空心针头的穿过通道的开孔;
一个部份设置在该针头壳体上、部份设置在该针头护套上、用以将该针头护套锁定在相对于该针头壳体的远端的伸出位置上的装置;
一个带有导管衬套的导管;以及
一个闪现腔;
其特征在于,该针头护套可通过该针头壳体的打开的顶部接触到以将该针头护套朝远方滑动到该空心针头的远端被放置在该针头护套之内的针头护套锁定位置上;所述闪现腔设置在针头壳体内,该闪现腔还包括有一个将该闪现腔固定在所述针头壳体内的底脚,所述针头护套还包括有一个当该针头护套在该针头壳体内滑动时跟该闪现腔底脚接合的纵向伸展的槽。
2.按权利要求1的导管装置,其特征在于所述空心针头从该闪现腔伸出并且该空心针头的通道跟该闪现腔的内部液体连通。
3.按权利要求2的导管装置,其特征在于所述闪现腔被所述可滑动地安装着的针头护套套住。
4.按权利要求1的导管装置,其特征在于所述闪现腔底脚的一个纵向端带有斜度以在所述针头护套跟针头壳体的装配过程中跟该针头护套的槽接合。
5.按权利要求1的导管装置,其特征在于所述针头壳体还包括有两个横向侧面,每个横向侧面包括有一个带成形外形的手指夹持部。
6.按权利要求1的导管装置,其特征在于所述针头护套还包括有一个设置在该针头护套远端附近的向上伸出的推出凸耳。
7.按权利要求6的导管装置,其特征在于所述针头护套还包括有多个设置在该针头护套上表面上并可通过所述针头壳体的所述打开的顶部接触到的凸起部。
8.按权利要求1的导管装置,其特征在于所述用于锁定的装置包括有一个所述针头护套的槽的缩窄部份和一个设在所述针头壳体内的开口。
9.按权利要求1的导管装置,其特征在于所述针头护套包括有一个具有一个比较大的内径的纵向管状部份和一个具有一个比较小的、用作所述空心针头的通道的远端开孔的、装在远端上的针头护套端部。
10.按权利要求1的导管装置,其特征在于还包括有一个在所述装置使用前包围着所述针头的可取下的保护性鞘套。
11.按权利要求10的导管装置,其特征在于所述保护性鞘套包括有一个纵向伸展的、大致上是平面的底部段。
12.按权利要求10的导管装置,其特征在于所述针头壳体在其远端包括有用以跟所述保护性鞘套的近端接合的装置。
