背景技术
对各种状况、紊乱和疾病(诸如眼状况、紊乱和疾病等)的监测、诊断和治疗通常涉及通过医学专业人员进行定期物理干预,这要求对象预约并去往医生或执业医生的办公地点。在对象方面,这涉及去医生那和回来的路上时间、等待时段、通常与护士执业者或医生助手的面对面的讨论以及随后的通过医生的讨论和检查。如果对象被开了处方,他或她然后必须去往药店,等待对处方配药,最后回家。从而,对对象的治疗和监测是高度耗时的活动。

发明内容

具体实施方式
例如在治疗青光眼的医学治疗中的主要关注是对象没有定期使用他们的药物。对象或者忘记使用药物或者没有使用正确的给药,例如由于难于使用常规滴眼器而不能使得正确的滴数进入眼睛。部分地,为了解决使用常规滴眼器遇到的问题,可以结合本发明使用喷射器装置,诸如在与本申请同时提交的、名称为“Drop-GeneratingDevice”的美国申请Attorney Docket No.24591.003-US03(其完整内容在此通过引用引入)中所描述的那些。

在特定实施例中,用户可经用户接口访问、浏览和/或分析来自喷射器装置、数据库、服务器等的数据,所述用户接口诸如为与装置、数据库、服务器等通信的计算机上的图形用户界面(GUI)。图4-8示出了示例性GUI实施例。图4示出具有各个对象标识400(例如姓名和出生日期)的概览页面。列402限定对每个对象的右眼和左眼治疗。列404提供用于各个治疗周的各个列,针对对象的每个眼睛例如被编码以指示对象对给药要求的的完全依从性(绿色)、部分依从性(橙色)或无依从性(红色)。在另一个实施例(未示出)中,可使用编码以指示不同的药物类型。
图5示出各个对象记录。各个列对应于周信息,行对应于每天。上部提供对象明细500和治疗方案明细502。如图6所示,点击对象明细阵列中的任何单元允许查看额外信息,只要存在额外信息,诸如眼睛的获取图像、图像日期和对象明细等,从而允许随时间的视觉记录。这允许医学专业人员不仅远程监测对象对给药方案的依从性,还远程监测视觉诊断信息并且根据需要与对象交互。
图7示出包括对象依从性明细信息的另一个实施例。图7在部分700中示出例如针对每个给药方案的将被施用的每种药物的依从性数据明细,并且示出图形显示702,其示出针对每个眼睛和选择的药物的依从性级别。如图8所示,点击对象明细阵列中的任何单元允许查看额外信息,只要存在额外信息,诸如眼睛的获取图像、图像日期和对象明细等,从而允许随时间的视觉记录。同样,这允许医学专业人员不仅远程监测对象与给药方案的依从性,还远程监测视觉诊断信息并且根据需要与对象交互。
在特定实施例中,这里所述的系统和喷射器装置允许远程监测一个或多个对象,并且可允许医学专业人员根据需要远程诊断、治疗和调节治疗。例如,系统和喷射器装置可允许获取、存储和传输与给药方案依从性信息、图像信息等相关的数据,所述信息可以被浏览和分析。如果需要,可以将所述信息与关于相同对象的早期信息、来自多个对象的信息(即,来自多个对象的信息可以被存储在中央数据库中,并被基于关于用户、给药和药物类型等的人口统计信息比较)相比较。
在另一个实施例中,提供一种方法,通常包括:(1)利用诸如本文所述的喷射器装置的喷射器装置根据对象的需要向对象的眼睛施用滴流;以及(2)将数据存储在装置的存储器中,该数据与例如给药方案信息、图像信息等相关。在特定实施例中,该方法还包括(3)从喷射器装置将所存储的数据传输到例如扩展坞、数据库或服务器和/或用户终端。然后可以将所传输的数据存储在扩展坞的存储器、数据库或服务器和/或用户终端的存储器中。在其他实施例中,可以浏览和分析从装置(例如从扩展坞、数据库或服务器或经用户终端)传输的数据。基于这样的浏览和分析,在一个实施例中,所述方法可包括根据需要调节给药和药物。在一个示例中,如果在数据中未观察到期望的结果,则可以增加给药方案(给药量、给药次数等)。可替代地,如果结果给出这样的指示,则可以减少给药方案。在另一个实施例中,喷射器装置可包括两种或多种药物,其中在第一时段使用和监测第一种药物,并且如果未获得期望的结果,则将施用改变到第二或第三种药物。
在另一个实施例中,喷射器装置可包括图像获取装置,并且所述方法可以包括传输图像信息(例如眼图像信息)。所述方法可包括浏览和分析图像信息以对对象进行诊断,例如通过将图像信息与从相同对象获得的先前图像或者与从其他对象获得的图像进行比较。在一些实施例中,图像信息可以独立于滴流的施用而获得,在该施用之前、该施用的同时、该施用之后或其组合。
在一个实施例中,提供一种用于监测眼科对象的方法。该方法通常包括:利用这里所述的喷射器装置(例如包括用于存储对象特异性数据的存储器和用于传输所存储的数据的通信接口的装置)根据对象的需要向对象的眼睛施用滴流;以及将所述数据存储在装置的存储器中。该方法还包括分析来自喷射器装置的所传输的数据以及基于所述分析根据需要调节对对象的眼睛施用滴流。

在另一个实施例中,提供一种用于诊断眼科对象的方法。该方法通常包括:利用喷射器装置获取对象的眼睛的图像;将图像存储在装置的存储器中;以及分析图像从而至少部分基于对所述图像的分析诊断对象。

(包括荧光剂、麻醉剂、防腐剂及润湿剂和稳定剂),然后利用3.06mm2装置压平。对于20mmHg或更低的眼内压力,测量准确度应在+0.5和-0.5mmHg内。本发明提供一种用于诊断青光眼的方法,通常包括施加压力以避免使用压平装置。通过从限定的距离将可选择数量的液滴(例如盐水溶液)喷射到眼球上,可以基于可通过图像获取装置获取的变形确定施加在角膜上的压力和眼内压。在一个实施例中,储存器包括盐水隔室,其可通过安装在装置上的选择器开关手动选择,或者通过使得医师上载药物类型和用于选择盐水溶液的特定滴数以限定特定压力的剂量信息选择盐水隔室。通过图像获取装置获取的反馈信息可以被上载到数据库或服务器,以允许医生诊断状况并调节第二喷射周期的压力或安排对象的后续约见。
在特定实施例中,本发明的系统和方法可用于监测对诸如青光眼的慢性问题的治疗。可以浏览和分析存储的数据,以例如评估患者依从性,评估给药方案的效力,确定对给药方案的必要改变,并且根据需要进行改变。
本发明的系统和方法还可以用于情境应用,诸如在白内障或其他眼科手术之后输送药物以便于以限定的次数和限定的剂量自己施用处方药物。其他实施例包括但不限于:结膜炎过敏治疗;过敏治疗;对于配戴隐形眼镜的人的盐水施加;疼痛、烦躁、红眼治疗;扩张药物的施加;减充血剂,其收缩或紧缩血管并使眼睛变白;皮质类固醇,诸如

Claims (23)

1.一种用于治疗眼科对象的系统,包括:
至少一个喷射器装置,其被配置为根据对象的需要向对象的眼睛施用滴流,其中所述喷射器装置包括用于存储对象特异性数据的存储器以及用于传输所存储的数据的通信接口;以及
与所述喷射器装置通信的至少一个数据库或服务器。
2.根据权利要求1所述的系统,还包括至少一个扩展坞,其被配置为与所述至少一个喷射器装置连接并与所述喷射器装置通信。
3.根据权利要求2所述的系统,其中所述喷射器装置经有线或无线通信接口与所述扩展坞通信。
4.根据权利要求2所述的系统,其中所述喷射器装置包括被配置为与所述扩展坞连接的I/O端口。
5.根据权利要求2所述的系统,其中所述至少一个喷射器装置经所述扩展坞与所述至少一个数据库或服务器通信。
6.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述至少一个喷射器装置包括图像获取装置,以获取眼睛的图像,所述对象特异性数据包括通过所述图像获取装置获取的图像信息。
7.根据权利要求1所述的系统,还包括用户终端。
8.根据权利要求8所述的系统,其中所述用户终端选自于计算机、智能电话和PDA。
9.根据权利要求8所述的系统,其中所述系统被配置为实现所述至少一个喷射器装置与所述用户终端之间的双向通信。
10.根据权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述至少一个喷射器装置包括压电喷射器或热喷射器。
11.一种用于监测眼科对象的方法,该方法包括:
使用喷射器装置根据对象的需要向对象的眼睛施用滴流,所述装置包括用于存储对象特异性数据的存储器以及用于传输所存储的数据的通信接口;以及
将所述数据存储在所述装置的存储器中。
12.根据权利要求11所述的方法,其中所述喷射器装置还包括用于获取所述对象的眼睛的图像的图像获取装置,并且所述方法还包括:

将所述图像存储在所述装置的存储器中。
13.根据权利要求11所述的方法,还包括从所述喷射器装置将所存储的数据传输到扩展坞、数据库或服务器和/或用户终端。
14.根据权利要求13所述的方法,还包括分析来自所述喷射器装置的所传输的数据以及基于所述分析根据需要调节对所述对象的眼睛施用所述滴流。
15.根据权利要求11所述的方法,其中所述对象正接受青光眼治疗,并且施用到眼睛的所述滴流包括用于治疗青光眼的药物。
16.根据权利要求15所述的方法,其中所述对象特异性数据包括与青光眼的治疗相关的给药方案信息。
17.根据权利要求16所述的方法,其中所述对象特异性数据包括关于所述对象对给药方案的依从性的信息。
18.一种用于监测眼科对象的方法,该方法包括:
