背景技术
本文中公开的主题一般涉及移动电负载的充电,并且更具体地说,涉及用于向客户在客户的本地电力设施区域内与外的位置的电动车辆充电进行计费的系统和方法。
随着电动车辆和混合电动车辆变得普遍,准确地管理充电电能到车辆的输送的关联需要已增大。另外,此类车辆的使用增长形成了认识由于电力供应商带来的利润的需要。
至少一些已知交易系统有利于经如RFID和远程传送器等无线通信在交易期间识别车辆。例如,车辆在通过收费站在预确定的速度范围内移动时,至少一些此类系统读取在车辆内携带的预付RFID卡以收集高速公路费。基于RFID卡识别车辆,并且从现有帐户自动扣除通行费金额。
另外,至少一些已知通信系统允许在车载计算机与位于车辆内或远离车辆的转发器之间分发诸如操作数据等数据。例如,车辆内的转发器可传递车辆操作条件到车载计算机。另外,远离车辆的转发器可将收费站信息、服务信息、停车成本和/或公路条件传递到车载计算机。此外,至少一些已知交易系统允许在车载接口与远程交易单元之间传递交易信息。例如,交易信息可在车载接口系统与用于提取和/或存储资金到帐户的银行柜员单元之间传递。另外,交易信息可在车载接口系统与用于购买商品和/或服务的免下车销售点系统之间传递。
另外,至少一些已知供电系统在客户的场所提供电能计量。例如,一些输送系统使用应用到卡的编码磁条在公用事业开单办事处与位于客户场所的公用事业计量和控制装置之间传送购买信息。存放在控制装置内的贷记仪表扣除与在客户场所消耗的电量相关联的值。在带有预购买量的客户的帐户用尽时,一些此类系统也允许使用包括类似编码磁条的应急卡。然而,通常,此类系统不计量输送到特定电负载的充电电能,并且因此不兼容与电动车辆的使用。
此外,至少一些已知系统允许实现漫游能力以便使用移动通信系统。更具体地说,诸如移动电话等通信装置配置用于特定运营商运营的网络,并且在移动电话在该网络外使用时,外部提供商向特定运营商为其客户的使用开单,并且特定运营商随后将为漫游使用向其客户开单,通常包括为漫游而收取的另外费用。此类系统预期用于移动电话的漫游以实现通信目的。
上述通信和/或交易系统均不能允许电动车辆充电站获得电动车辆的独特标识符以便在交易中使用,交易包括即使电动车辆在其优选提供商操作的区域外也输送充电电能(electrical charging power)到电动车辆。相应地,有利于在输送充电电能和/或认识充电电能输送到电动车辆的利润前识别电动车辆及其优选提供商的系统和方法是合乎需要的。
发明内容

图1是与漫游电动车辆102一起使用的示范供电系统100的简化框图;在示范实施例中,系统100包括服务器系统104、耦合到服务器系统104的车辆充电站106和在电动车辆102在其优选服务区外漫游时使用的车辆充电站107。如图1所示,服务器系统104可耦合到多个车辆充电站106和107。在一个实施例中,车辆充电站106耦合到网络108,其允许车辆充电站106通过网络108访问服务器系统104。在一个实施例中,网络108包括诸如宽域网等专用网络。在另一实施例中,网络108包括诸如因特网等公共网络。车辆充电站106和108可通过诸如局域网(LAN)、宽域网(WAN)、拨号连接、电缆调制解调器、无线调制解调器和/或专用高速集成服务数字网络(ISDN)线等许多接口连接到网络108。数据库服务器110包括包含有关多种事项的信息的数据库112,如与电动车辆配电有关的帐户信息。在示范实施例中,集中式数据库112存储在服务器系统104中,并且经至少一个车辆充电站106来访问该数据库。在一个备选实施例中,数据库112在服务器系统104远程存储,并且可以是非集中式。另外,在示范实施例中,多个车辆充电站106和107的每个充电站能够经至少一个连接器113提供充电电能到至少一个电动车辆102。每个电动车辆102存储充电电能,并且使用存储的功率来推进而不使用诸如汽油等更常规能源或除了该更常规能源外还使用存储功率推进。
如下面更详细所述,在示范实施例中,车辆充电站106和107配置为通信耦合到电动车辆和经连接器113电耦合到电动车辆以便输送充电电能。每个电动车辆102包括独特标识符,该标识符由车辆充电站106和107之一接收并由车辆充电站106和107之一和/或服务器104使用以用于识别电动车辆102、电动车辆102的优选充电电能提供商114和/或与电动车辆102相关联的帐户。例如,在一个实施例中,数据库112可包括事先已付费以便以后分发到电动车辆102的一定量的充电电能相关联的预付款信息有关的交易和/或会计数据。另外,数据库112可包括历史充电电能分发数据,如交易日期,和/或为每次交易输送到电动车辆102的一定量的充电电能。此外,数据库112可包括历史付款信息,如预付款日期和/或预付款金额。
在示范实施例中,数据库112包括与优选充电电能提供商114和至少一个漫游第三方充电电能提供商116之一或多个有关的数据。更具体地说,在示范实施例中,至少一个电动车辆102在优选提供商114服务的区域外漫游时,耦合到漫游第三方提供商116的车辆充电站107传送独特标识符到漫游第三方提供商116以确定优选提供商114。漫游第三方提供商116随后传送独特标识符到在优选提供商114的服务器系统104,以使用数据库搜索确定与优选提供商114和独特标识符相关联的帐户。车辆充电站107确定帐户的当前余额,并在帐户的当前余额小于预确定余额时拒绝获取充电电能。此外,车辆充电站107可通过输送一定量的充电电能到电动车辆102来提供服务到电动车辆102。车辆充电站107也计量输送到电动车辆102的充电电能的量,并将计量的量传送到漫游第三方提供商116以基于漫游第一方提供商116的充电电能的价格确定交易金额。在示范实施例中,耦合到漫游第三方提供商116的车辆充电站107随后将交易金额传送到在优选提供商114的服务器系统104,并且服务器系统104从帐户扣除该交易金额,并将该交易金额从优选提供商114转移到漫游第三方提供商116。在本文中使用时,术语“余额”包括在帐户中用于支付充电电能费用的任何可用金额量,如帐户中的存款现金量和帐户上的可用信贷额,包括信用卡和信用额度。
本文中所示和所述的实施例及本文中未明确描述,但在本发明的方面的范围内的实施例构成了用于识别请求优选提供商114和/或漫游第三方提供商116至少之一服务的电动车辆的示范手段。例如,电动车辆102在优选提供商114的服务区域内时,车辆充电站106经服务器系统104确定帐户和当前余额,并且交易金额基于优选提供商114的充电电能价格。备选,电动车辆102在优选提供商114的服务区域外,在漫游第三方提供商116的服务区域中时,经漫游第三方提供商116确定帐户和当前余额以允许车辆充电站107向电动车辆102提供服务,并提交计量的交易金额到优选提供商114以便付款和/或向用户/客户开单。例如,服务系统104、车辆充电站106、车辆充电站107和/或编程有如图1所示计算机可执行指令的任何其它类似的计算机装置提供了基于独特标识符和优选提供商114识别电动车辆102和相关联帐户的示范手段。
图2是系统100(图1中示出)的示范系统体系结构200的扩展框图。系统体系结构200中与系统100的组件相同的组件在图2中使用与图1中相同的标号识别。在示范实施例中,系统200包括服务器系统104、车辆充电站106和车辆充电站107。服务器系统104也包括数据库服务器110、应用服务器202、web服务器204、目录服务器206及邮件服务器208。磁盘存储单元210耦合到数据库服务器110和目录服务器206。磁盘存储单元210可包括但不限于只包括网络附接存储(NAS)装置和/或存储区域网络(SAN)装置。在一个实施例中,数据库112存储在数据库服务器110中。在示范实施例中,数据库112耦合到数据库服务器110和磁盘储存器210。服务器110、202、204、206及208在局域网(LAN)212中耦合。另外,系统管理员工作站214、用户工作站216和监督工作站218可耦合到LAN 212以允许与服务器系统104进行通信。

在使用期间,在客户希望为电动车辆102充电时,电动车辆102经车辆通信模块224和站通信模块225通信耦合到车辆充电站106和107之一。更具体地说,在一个实施例中,如果电动车辆102是在优选提供商114服务的区域中,则车辆充电站106将标识符222传送到服务器系统104,并且服务器系统104确定与标识符222相关联的帐户和帐户余额。在另一实施例中,如果电动车辆102在非优选提供商114服务的区域中漫游,则车辆充电站107将标识符222传送到向在车辆充电站107所处区域提供服务的漫游第三方提供商116。漫游第三方116确定电动车辆102的优选提供商114,并且将标识符222传送到优选提供商114操作的服务器系统104。服务器系统104确定与标识符222相关联的帐户和帐户余额。

在示范实施例中,如果帐户余额满足预确定余额,则车辆充电站10和和107之一被指示为允许为电动车辆102服务。另外,如果帐户余额不满足预确定余额,则拒绝为电动车辆102服务,并且向用户/客户显示消息,指示拒绝的原因。此外,服务器系统104可向帐户余额发放临时信贷以满足预确定余额。在一个实施例中,车辆充电站106和107之一使用每单位充电电能不同的价格计量到电动车辆102的充电电能输送,如在发放临时信贷时更高的价格。在另一实施例中,在与标识符222相关联的帐户已处于封存状态时,服务器系统104可指示车辆充电站106和107之一拒绝为电动车辆102服务。在此类实施例中,可基于例如客户的拖欠付款和/或电动车辆102被盗的报告,将帐户置于“封存”状态。

图3是流程图300,示出用于使用图1和2中示出的系统,在输送充电电能到电动车辆102(在图1和2中示出)中使用的示范方法。在示范实施例中,车辆充电站106和107(在图1和2中示出)通信耦合302到电动车辆102,并且车辆充电站106和107经连接器113(在图1和2中示出)电耦合304到电动车辆。此外,在示范实施例中,服务器系统104(在图1和2中示出)接收306来自电动车辆102的独特车辆标识符222(在图2中示出)。在示范实施例中,电动车辆102,且更具体地说标识符222与优选提供商114(在图1和2中示出)和客户帐户相关联。服务器系统104和/或漫游第三方提供商116(在图1和2中示出)确定308优选充电电能提供商114。如果电动车辆102不在优选提供商114服务的区域中,则漫游第三方提供商116将标识符传送到在优选提供商114的服务器系统104。服务器系统104随后确定310与优选提供商114和标识符222相关联的帐户。更具体地说,服务器系统104确定与数据库108(在图1和2中示出)内标识符222相关联的用户帐户。在示范实施例中,服务器系统104随后确定311客户帐户的当前余额。
在示范实施例中,服务器系统104确定312是批准还是拒绝为电动车辆102服务,并且如果电动车辆102位于优选提供商114服务的区域内时,服务器系统104将确定传送到车辆充电站106。如果电动车辆102位于漫游第三方提供商116服务的区域内,则服务器系统104将确定传送到漫游第三方提供商116。漫游第三方提供商116随后将确定传送到车辆充电站107。在示范实施例中,如果当前余额小于预确定余额,则车辆充电站106和107之一拒绝为客户服务。此外,在示范实施例中,可提示客户将信用卡或现金插入与车辆充电站106和107之一耦合的付款接受装置(未示出)。在一个实施例中,存在与电动车辆102相关联的被盗汽车报告时,服务器系统104可拒绝服务。在示范实施例中,当前帐户余额可由帐户持有者远程使用例如用户工作站216(图2中示出)而增大。例如,在一个实施例中,客户可经用户工作站216登录到服务器系统104,以便进入付款程序,付款程序允许客户指定要加入帐户余额的某个付款金额。在此类实施例中,客户也指定付款源,包括但不限于信用卡、借记卡和/或银行帐户。在此类实施例中,付款金额随后存入帐户余额。
在示范实施例中,经车辆充电站106和107之一将一定量的充电电能输送314到电动车辆102,并且计量316输送的该充电电能的量。基于输送到电动车辆102的充电电能的实际量,确定318交易金额。更具体地说,站计量表226(在图2中示出)计量输送的充电电能的量。在一个实施例中,车辆充电站106基于输送的充电电能的量确定交易金额,并将交易金额传送到服务器系统104。在另一实施例中,车辆充电站107基于输送314的充电电能的量确定318交易金额,并将交易金额传送到漫游第三方提供商116,该提供商随后将金额传送到服务器系统104。在一个实施例中,车辆充电站106向服务器系统104传送输送到电动车辆102的充电电能的量,并且服务器系统104基于输送的充电电能的量确定交易金额。在另一实施例中,车辆充电站107向漫游第三方提供商116传送输送到电动车辆102的充电电能的量,而漫游第三方提供商116随后向服务器系统104传送输送到电动车辆102的充电电能的量,并且服务器系统104基于输送的充电电能的量确定交易金额。
在示范实施例中,随后比较交易金额和客户帐户中的当前余额。如果交易金额小于当前余额,则从当前余额扣除320交易金额,并且随后在数据库112中存储新余额。在一个实施例中,服务器系统104将新余额传送到车辆充电站106并经至少一个直观显示器(未显示)向用户/客户显示。在另一实施例中,新余额传送到漫游第三方提供商116,而漫游第三方提供商116随后将新余额传送到车辆充电站107,车辆充电站107经至少一个直观显示器(未示出)向用户/客户显示新余额。在一个备选实施例中,新余额也传送到电动车辆102,并经车辆计量表228(在图2中示出)向用户或客户显示。如果当前余额小于交易金额,则可向客户帐户贷记交易金额与当前余额之间的差额,并且可在以后要求客户支付差额。在此类实施例中,可对基于信贷分给的任何充电电能更改开单价。备选,通过例如提示客户将信用卡插入耦合到车辆充电站10和107之一的付款接受装置(未示出),可提示客户提交付款到车辆充电站106和107之一。在示范实施例中,输送的充电电能的收据的确认由车辆计量表228生成。收据可由客户使用以用于验证输送的充电电能的量和/或每单位充电电能的成本。收据可由电动车辆102生成并存储在电动车辆102和数据库112中。备选,收据可由服务器系统104生成,存储在数据库112中,并经车辆充电站106和107之一传送到电动车辆102。另外,在一个实施例中,可经耦合到电动车辆102和车辆充电站106和107至少其中之一的至少一个直观显示器,向客户显示调整的当前余额,以反映交易金额从帐户的扣除。
本文中详细描述的是有利于输送充电电能到诸如电动车辆等车辆的方法、系统和计算机的示范实施例。更具体地说,本文中所述实施例有利于在车辆充电站使用电动车辆内嵌有的独特标识符识别电动车辆,并确定电动车辆是否漫游到非优选服务区域。识别电动车辆和确定它是否已漫游有利于从帐户自动扣除交易金额。此类自动扣除有利于为客户节省时间,并且为配电公用事业更大地方便了利润收取。
本文中所述的方法和系统不限于本文中所述的特定实施例。例如,每个系统的组件和/或每个方法的步骤可与本文中所述的其它组件和/或步骤独立、分开地使用和/或实践。另外,每个组件和/或步骤也可用与其它组合包装和方法一起使用和/或实践。
虽然本发明已根据各种特定实施例进行了描述,但本领域的技术人员将认识到,在不脱离权利要求书精神和范围的情况下,可通过修改实践本发明。
Claims (20)
1.一种与用于将充电电能传送到电动车辆的系统一起使用的车辆充电站,所述车辆充电站配置为:
通信耦合到所述电动车辆;
经连接器电耦合到所述电动车辆;
接收来自所述电动车辆的独特标识符;
基于所述标识符确定优选充电电能提供商;
确定与所述优选提供商和所述标识符相关联的帐户;
经所述连接器输送一定量的充电电能到所述电动车辆;以及
计量输送到所述电动车辆的所述充电电能的量。
2.如权利要求1所述的车辆充电站,其中所述车辆充电站还配置为传送所述标识符到服务器以确定所述优选提供商和与所述标识符相关联的帐户。
3.如权利要求2所述的车辆充电站,其中所述车辆充电站还配置为:
基于所述标识符确定所述帐户的现有余额;以及
如果所述帐户的所述现有余额小于预确定余额,则拒绝获取充电电能。
4.如权利要求1所述的车辆充电站,其中所述车辆充电站还配置为将输送到所述电动车辆的充电电能的量传送到所述优选提供商以确定交易金额。
5.如权利要求4所述的车辆充电站,其中所述车辆充电站还配置为从所述帐户扣除所述交易金额。
6.如权利要求1所述的车辆充电站,其中所述车辆充电站还配置为比较输送的充电电能的所计量的量与所述电动车辆确定的计量值。
7.如权利要求1所述车辆充电站,其中所述充电站耦合到至少一个直观显示器,所述车辆充电站还配置为向所述至少一个显示器输出输送的充电电能的量、输送的所述充电电能的量的币值和要输送的剩余充电电能的量至少其中之一。
8.一种在为电动车辆充电中使用的车辆充电系统,所述系统包括:
车辆充电站,配置为:
通信耦合到所述电动车辆;
经连接器电耦合到所述电动车辆;
接收来自所述电动车辆的独特标识符;
经所述连接器输送一定量的充电电能到所述电动车辆;
计量输送到所述电动车辆的所述充电电能的量;以及
服务器系统,耦合到所述车辆充电站,所述服务器系统配置为:
基于所述标识符确定优选充电电能提供商;
确定与所述优选提供商和所述标识符相关联的帐户;以及
基于由所述车辆充电站输送到所述电动车辆的充电电能的量,确定交易金额。
9.如权利要求8所述的系统,其中所述车辆充电站配置为传送所述标识符到所述服务器系统以确定所述优选提供商和与所述标识符相关联的帐户。
10.如权利要求9所述的系统,其中所述服务器系统包括数据库和耦合到所述数据库的计算机,所述计算机配置为:
访问所述数据库;
在所述数据库搜索所述标识符;
基于搜索结果确定所述优选提供商;以及
基于搜索结果确定所述帐户。
11.如权利要求8所述的系统,其中所述车辆充电站包括配置为确定输送到所述电动车辆的充电电能的量的计量表。
12.如权利要求11所述的系统,其中所述计量表还配置为传送输送到所述服务器系统的充电电能的量,并且如果所述服务器系统的提供商与所述优选提供商不同,则所述服务器系统配置为将所述量转发到所述优选提供商。
13.如权利要求12所述的系统,其中所述服务器系统配置为基于输送的充电电能的量,确定所述交易金额。
14.如权利要求8所述的系统,其中所述服务器系统配置为从所述帐户扣除所述交易金额。
15.一种用于为电动车辆充电的方法,所述方法包括:
将车辆充电站通信耦合到所述电动车辆;
经连接器将所述车辆充电站电耦合到所述电动车辆;
接收来自所述电动车辆的独特标识符;
基于所述标识符确定所述电动车辆的优选充电电能提供商;
确定与所述优选提供商和所述标识符相关联的帐户;
经所述连接器输送一定量的充电电能到所述电动车辆;以及
基于在所述车辆充电站输送到所述电动车辆的所述充电电能的量,确定交易金额。
16.如权利要求15所述的方法,其中确定帐户包括:
访问数据库;
在所述数据库搜索所述标识符;
基于搜索结果确定所述优选提供商;以及
基于搜索结果确定所述帐户。
17.如权利要求16所述的方法,其中确定所述优选提供商和所述帐户还包括将所述标识符从所述车辆充电站传送到耦合到所述数据库的服务器,并且在所述服务器的提供商与所述优选提供商不同时,所述服务器将所述标识符传送到所述优选提供商。
18.如权利要求15所述的方法,其中确定所述帐户还包括:
基于所述标识符确定所述帐户的现有余额;以及
如果所述帐户的所述现有余额小于预确定余额,则拒绝获取充电电能。
19.如权利要求15所述的方法,其中确定交易金额包括由所述车辆充电站和所述电动车辆至少其中之一计量由所述车辆充电站输送到所述电动车辆的所述充电电能的量。
20.如权利要求15所述的方法,还包括从所述帐户扣除所述交易金额。
