Abstract

发明领域
本发明大体上涉及组织治疗系统,并且特别涉及用于减压治疗系统的部件模块(component module)。
相关技术描述
临床研究和实践显示,在组织部位附近提供减压能增加并且加速在该组织部位的新组织的生长。这种现象的应用有很多,但是减压的应用在治疗伤口中尤其成功。这种治疗(在医学界通常指“负压伤口治疗”、“减压治疗”或“真空治疗”)提供很多益处,包括肉芽组织的更快愈合和增加的形成。通常,通过多孔垫或其他歧管单元将减压施加到组织。多孔垫包括能够向组织分配减压并且引导从组织流出的流体的室或孔。通常,多孔垫结合在具有帮助治疗的其他成分的敷料中。
虽然现有的减压治疗系统享有广泛的商业和医疗成功,扩展这些系统的功能来提供更全面的治疗方案将是有益处的。
因此,存在对可扩展的减压治疗系统(expandable reduced pressuretreatment system)的需要,该可扩展的减压治疗系统允许部件模块与可扩展的减压治疗系统和其他模块相结合,来提供额外的治疗特征和选择。
发明内容
本发明的系统和方法改进了常规的减压治疗系统的局限。根据本发明的原理提供了用于减压治疗系统的可连接的部件模块。通常,该模块包括具有边缘(rim)、凹端表面(recessed end surface)以及延长部分(extension)的外壳。安装组件固定在凹端表面上,并且包括可延伸的第一闭锁装置(extendable first latch)和可延伸的第二闭锁装置。第一闭锁装置和第二闭锁装置每个都包括紧固条(fastener bar),当第一闭锁装置和第二闭锁装置不延伸时,紧固条实质上与边缘齐平。第一孔延伸穿过安装组件和凹端表面,并且第二孔延伸穿过延长部分。通常,该模块也包括包含于外壳中的控制系统。控制系统具有例如控制器区域网控制器的通信控制器、耦合到通信控制器并且穿过第一孔伸出的通信插头,以及耦合到通信控制器并且暴露于第二孔的通信端口。

在本说明书的上下文中,通常,术语“减压”是指在接受治疗的组织部位处低于环境压力的压力。在大多数情况下,该减压将低于患者所处位置的大气压。虽然术语“真空”和“负压”也可以用来描述施加到组织部位的压力,但是施加到组织部位的实际压力可以显著地低于通常与完全的真空相关的压力。与该术语一致,减压或真空压力的增加是指绝对压力的相对减少,而减压或真空压力的减少是指绝对压力的相对增加。
图1是根据本发明的减压治疗系统100的示意图。减压治疗系统100包括敷料110,其通常包括用于治疗的施加到组织部位120上或施加在组织部位120中的歧管单元。敷料110通过导管130流体地连接到减压源120。在某些实施方式中,如下所述,减压源120可与减压控制单元140合并,并且减压治疗系统100也可包括用来收集从组织部位抽取的液体和其他非气体渗出物的罐150。
图2是减压控制单元140的示例性控制系统200的方框图。控制系统200包括治疗控制器202和图形用户界面(GUI)控制器204。治疗控制器202可包括执行软件208的一个或多个处理器206。处理器206可与存储器210和输入/输出(I/O)单元212通信。可以设置软件208来控制减压治疗系统100的多个不同的操作,例如控制组织治疗、监控传感器和生成警报,以及与I/O单元212和GUI控制器204协力来执行与在控制单元140外部的系统和设备的通信。应理解,可以进一步设置软件208来执行不同的和/或其他的功能。
例如,I/O单元212可以使控制系统200能够与外部模块、系统和网络通信。如此处进一步描述的,在一个实施方式中,I/O单元212可以与控制器区域网(CAN)或修改的CAN协力工作。处理器206可进一步执行软件来接收和处理通过I/O单元212接收的CAN数据。
储存单元214例如磁盘驱动器或储存介质可以与治疗控制器202通信。数据库216a-216n(总称216)可用来储存治疗信息或其他信息。可将数据库设置为关系数据库或其他数据库。其他信息例如软件可储存在储存单元214上。
GUI控制器204可包括执行软件220的一个或多个处理器218。可以设置软件220来生成图形用户界面,操作者、患者、技师或其他用户可使用图形用户界面作为界面以控制系统100。处理器218可与存储器222、I/O单元224以及显示驱动器226通信。存储器222可以储存与显示GUI相关的当前参数。例如,如果使用GUI来显示特定的屏幕截图,则屏幕截图可以储存在存储器222中。I/O单元224可用来与治疗控制器202和其他设备通过界面连接。
显示和触摸屏幕组件228可以连接到GUI控制器204,并且可以用来显示由GUI控制器204生成的GUI。如在现有技术中理解的,屏幕228使操作者能够仅仅用他或她的手指或指示笔触摸屏幕来与GUI通过界面连接。通过提供触摸屏幕,可以避免包含键盘或辅助键盘。然而,应理解,根据本发明的原理,可以使用外部键盘或辅助键盘。背光变换器230可连接到GUI控制器204和屏幕组件228。可选地,背光变换器230可以结合在屏幕组件228中。在操作中,背光变换器能够为不同的周围照明条件变换屏幕组件228。例如,系统100的用户可以在夜间治疗患者,并且使用背光变换器230来选择性地打开屏幕组件228的背光灯,以便他或她能更好地看见GUI。可选地,背光变换器可用来在夜间关闭屏幕组件228上的灯,以允许患者在更黑暗的环境中睡眠。
扬声器232可以与GUI控制器204通信。当需要操作时,或当产生警报条件时,可以使用扬声器来为用户提供语音通知。
根据本发明的原理,可以使用统一的显示界面(UDI)234。UDI 234可以用作数字视频界面来辅助视频显示。此外,可设置多个通信端口236来使用户能够将外部设备连接到控制系统200。例如,输入端口236可包括CAN端口236a来使控制系统200能够与其他治疗系统通过界面连接,包括存储卡端口236b来使用户能够将数据从一个设备传输到另一个设备,包括通用串行总线(USB)端口来使操作者能够将设备连接到控制系统200,例如打印机,以及包括红外数据协会(Infrared Data Association)(IrDA)端口236d来使用户能够将配置有IrDA端口的其他设备通过界面连接到系统。应理解,根据本发明的原理,可使用目前可获得或将来可获得的其他通信端口。例如,可以提供用来连接局域网或广域网的通信端口来使用户能够将控制系统200连接到网络。
控制器区域网是原本在20世纪80年代早期为汽车应用开发的通信总线。在1993年,CAN协议被国际标准化为ISO 11898-1,并且包括七层IOS/OSI参考模型的数据链接。现在可从很多半导体制造商以硬件的形式获得的CAN提供两种通信服务:(i)发送报文(数据帧传输)和(ii)请求报文(远程发送请求,RTR)。所有其它服务,例如发误差信号和错误帧的自动重发是用户透明的,这意味着CAN线路自动执行这些服务,而不需要具体的程序设计。
CAN控制器与打印机或打字机兼容。为特定的用途限定语言、语法和词汇。CAN提供允许建立智能和冗余的系统的多主层次结构(multi-masterhierarchy)。如此处进一步描述的,与组织治疗系统一起使用的CAN使额外的部件模块能够与系统协力工作。部件模块可作为节点工作,在CAN上的每个节点接收报文并且确定是否报文是相关的。保持数据的完整性,因为在系统中的所有设备接收同样的信息。CAN也提供复杂的误差检测机制和错误报文的重发。
在一个实施方式中,可以为系统定制语言、语法和词汇,以便只有具有相同语言、语法和词汇的设备可与系统通信。通过操作这种定制或专有的系统,可以保持对与系统通过界面连接的模块和设备的质量的控制。
仍然参考图2,在操作中,可以使用通信端口236来使用户能够从控制系统200导入数据和向控制系统200导出数据。例如,可以通过通信端口236传送患者信息、治疗信息和与患者伤口相关的图像。可以通过一个或多个通信端口236传送其它信息,包括软件更新。
锂离子(Li-Ion)电池238和直流插座241可以连接到治疗控制器202。为了向控制系统200内的治疗控制器202和其他电部件供应直流电,外部适配器(未示出)可以连接到壁式插座(未示出)来将交流电转换成直流电。如果外部电源失效,那么锂离子电池238为控制系统200供电。可选地,如果在没有电源的地方或依靠电池电源使用控制系统200,锂离子电池238向控制系统200供电。
歧管控制器240可以连接到治疗控制器202,并且用来控制敷料110的各种设备和接收来自放置于敷料110上的传感器的反馈信息。当执行治疗时,歧管控制器240可与治疗控制器202通信。歧管控制器240可包括用于与敷料110上的各种设备通信的模拟电路和数字电路(未示出)。在一个实施方式中,歧管控制器240可包括一个或多个数字至模拟(D/A)和模拟至数字(A/D)转换器(未示出)来使数字和模拟信号能够在敷料110上的各种设备(如传感器)之间通过。此外,一个或多个放大器(未示出)可包括有歧管控制器240。
如所示,多个换能器(如传感器)和设备可以连接到歧管控制器240。减压源,例如真空泵242可以连接到歧管控制器240。阀244和泵阀246可以连接到歧管控制器240,并且用来控制在歧管单元内移动的空气。多个传感器也可以连接到歧管控制器240,包括流量传感器248、环境压力传感器250、反馈压力传感器252以及泵压力传感器254。如在现有技术中理解的,这些传感器可以是常规的气流和压力传感器。罐释放按钮LED256也可以连接到歧管控制器240。
在操作中,歧管控制器240可在治疗控制器202和耦合到敷料110的设备之间传送信号。在传送信号时,歧管控制器240可通过在模拟和数字信号之间转换信号来调节信号,为真空泵242以及阀244和246放大信号和放大驱动信号。在一个实施方式中,歧管控制器240包括处理器(未示出)来执行局部处理和控制卸下一些处理,以及控制治疗控制器202的处理器206。
图3是装有控制系统200的控制单元300的一个实施方式的前透视图。如图3所示,控制单元300包括具有肩部310和延长部分315的外壳305。延长部分315包括端面320、第一隆起部分(ridge)325和第二隆起部分330。在端面320上,第二隆起部分通常被定位为实质上与第一隆起部分325相对。图3所示的控制单元300的大体形状(step)是椭圆柱,但是能为控制系统200和减压源120提供足够的内部容量的任何几何形状配置都是可接受的。延长部分315包括孔335,CAN端口236a通过孔335暴露于端面320的外面。
图4是与控制单元300类似的控制单元沿着线4-4的放大的部分横截面视图。具体地,图4示出具有肩部410和延长部分415的一部分外壳405。延长部分415包括端面420、第一隆起部分425和第二隆起部分430,第二隆起部分430实质上在第一隆起部分425对面。孔435从端面420的外面延伸到外壳405的内部。
图5是与控制单元300类似的控制单元沿着线5-5的放大的部分横截面视图。具体地,图5示出具有肩部510和带有端面520的延长部分515的一部分外壳505。
在控制单元的任一个实施方式中,外壳可被制造为分离的部件,并且随后被组装,或可制造为单一单元(single unit)。
图6是部件模块600的实施方式的第一端的透视图。部件模块600可包括有助于组织治疗、循环/新一代皮肤拉伸(cyclic/next generation skinstretching)、电容容量(capacitive volume)和伤口轮廓测绘(wound contourmapping)、创面床pH监控、伤口变热/环境控制(climate control)、伤口湿度和温度监控、电刺激、紫外治疗以及伤口愈合标记测量的多个设备,有助于组织治疗的设备包括但不限于伤口照相机(wound camera)。通常,部件模块600包括与上述的控制系统200类似的控制系统。具体地,部件模块600包括CAN控制器(未示出)和CAN端口(见图7)。部件模块600也包括CAN插头610,其穿过孔615伸出并且与控制系统200的CAN端口236a通过界面连接。如图6所示,部件模块600包括具有边缘625、凹端表面630和凹槽632的外壳620。部件模块600进一步包括固定到凹端表面630的安装组件635。安装组件635包括设置在凹槽632内的第一闭锁装置640和第二闭锁装置645。第一闭锁装置和第二闭锁装置每个都具有紧固条650,在图6所示的配置中,紧固条650实质上与边缘625齐平。将紧固条650配置成与其他模块或控制单元上的隆起部分重合,例如图4所示的隆起部分425和430。

为了说明,参考图8,第一闭锁装置630和第二闭锁装置635可以延伸来将部件模块600安装在控制单元或另一个部件模块上。在可选实施方式中,第一闭锁装置630、第二闭锁装置635或两者可绕着销旋转,以便只有闭锁装置的紧固条延伸。延伸安装组件625可允许将紧固条650放置在另一个部件模块或控制单元的隆起部分上,然后折叠在延长部分上来固定部件模块600。
图9示出图7所示的部件模块600的第二端,并且第一闭锁装置630延伸。
图10是CAN插头610的实施方式的放大的透视图。在这个实施方式中,CAN插头610由与CAN端口中的相应的板连接器对齐的多个销连接器组成。可根据需要将每个销连接器用导线连接到部件模块中的控制系统。

Claims (15)

1.一种减压治疗系统,包括:
控制系统,其具有治疗控制器和通信控制器;
通信端口,其耦合到所述通信控制器;
减压源,其耦合到所述治疗控制器;
歧管单元,其与所述减压源流体相通;
可拆除的部件模块,其通过所述通信端口耦合到所述控制系统;
第一外壳,其围住所述控制系统,所述第一外壳包括肩部和延长部分表面;
第二外壳,其围住所述部件模块,所述第二外壳包括边缘和凹端表面;
安装组件,其具有闭锁装置;
第一孔,其穿过所述安装组件和凹端表面;以及
第二孔,所述通信端口穿过所述第二孔暴露于所述延长部分表面,所述第二孔与所述第一孔对齐;
其中所述凹端表面容纳所述延长部分表面,并且所述闭锁装置固定到所述延长部分表面来将所述第二外壳固定在所述第一外壳上。
2.如权利要求1所述的系统,其中所述延长部分表面包括隆起部分,并且所述闭锁装置固定在所述隆起部分上来将所述第二外壳固定在所述第一外壳上。

可拆除的部件模块,其通过所述通信端口耦合到所述控制系统;
其中所述部件模块是伤口照相机。
8.一种减压治疗系统,包括:
控制系统,其具有治疗控制器和通信控制器;
通信端口,其耦合到所述通信控制器;
减压源,其耦合到所述治疗控制器;
歧管单元,其与所述减压源流体相通;以及
可拆除的部件模块,其通过所述通信端口耦合到所述控制系统;
其中所述部件模块是循环皮肤拉伸器。
9.一种减压治疗系统,包括:
控制系统,其具有治疗控制器和通信控制器;
通信端口,其耦合到所述通信控制器;
减压源,其耦合到所述治疗控制器;
歧管单元,其与所述减压源流体相通;以及
可拆除的部件模块,其通过所述通信端口耦合到所述控制系统;
其中所述部件模块是电容容量和伤口轮廓测绘模块。
10.一种减压治疗系统,包括:
控制系统,其具有治疗控制器和通信控制器;
通信端口,其耦合到所述通信控制器;
减压源,其耦合到所述治疗控制器;
歧管单元,其与所述减压源流体相通;以及
可拆除的部件模块,其通过所述通信端口耦合到所述控制系统;
其中所述部件模块是创面床pH监控器。
11.一种减压治疗系统,包括:
控制系统,其具有治疗控制器和通信控制器;
通信端口,其耦合到所述通信控制器;
减压源,其耦合到所述治疗控制器;
歧管单元,其与所述减压源流体相通;以及
可拆除的部件模块,其通过所述通信端口耦合到所述控制系统;
其中所述部件模块是伤口环境控制模块。
12.一种减压治疗系统,包括:
控制系统,其具有治疗控制器和通信控制器;
通信端口,其耦合到所述通信控制器;
减压源,其耦合到所述治疗控制器;
歧管单元,其与所述减压源流体相通;以及
可拆除的部件模块,其通过所述通信端口耦合到所述控制系统;
其中所述部件模块是伤口湿度和温度监控器。
13.一种减压治疗系统,包括:
控制系统,其具有治疗控制器和通信控制器;
通信端口,其耦合到所述通信控制器;
减压源,其耦合到所述治疗控制器;
歧管单元,其与所述减压源流体相通;以及
可拆除的部件模块,其通过所述通信端口耦合到所述控制系统;
其中所述部件模块是电刺激模块。
14.一种减压治疗系统,包括:
控制系统,其具有治疗控制器和通信控制器;
通信端口,其耦合到所述通信控制器;
减压源,其耦合到所述治疗控制器;
歧管单元,其与所述减压源流体相通;以及
可拆除的部件模块,其通过所述通信端口耦合到所述控制系统;
其中所述部件模块是紫外治疗模块。
15.一种减压治疗系统,包括:
控制系统,其具有治疗控制器和通信控制器;
通信端口,其耦合到所述通信控制器;
减压源,其耦合到所述治疗控制器;
歧管单元,其与所述减压源流体相通;以及
可拆除的部件模块,其通过所述通信端口耦合到所述控制系统;
