背景技术
人们通常设法获得健康目标。然而,由于疾病、工作间断和其它各种环境变化,通常很难坚持规律的体育锻炼方式。另外,个人不一定具有为了满足健康目标而设计的体育锻练。因此,个人的健康目标常常难以达到。

具体实施方式
图1示意地说明根据示例性实施例的锻炼引导系统10。如后文所述,锻炼引导系统10使用一个或多个锻炼设备识别用于实现多个健康目的或目标之一的锻炼路线并且基于锻炼结果或锻炼度量与锻炼路线、用户坚持情况和计划外的或计划内的用户事件的比较来自动地调整该路线。结果,锻炼引导系统10考虑了锻炼方式的中断或打断,比如患病、旅行、工作或生活变化的中断、目标重新排列及其它环境变化。为了本公开的目的,术语″锻炼路线″表示计划、规范、路径、诀窍或其它步进方向或指示,用于使用一个或多个锻炼活动以朝健康或其它目标目的取得进步。
锻炼引导系统10包括多个健康器材单元或锻炼设备12A、12B(共同称为锻炼设备12)、输入装置16、显示器18以及控制器20。锻炼设备12包括锻炼机,借助该锻炼机,个人可以通过把力或动作施加到与锻炼设备12相关联的一个或多个可移动的结构来锻炼。锻炼设备12被配置用于感测或测量个人的一个或多个属性,比如体重、身体成份和心率,以及收集主观用户输入的方式。锻炼设备12还被配置感测锻炼结果,包括个人锻炼施加的能量、力或动作,比如驱动脚支撑或摇动臂的速度、驱动跑步机的速度及倾角、用户的节奏等等。锻炼设备12所感测的个人属性以及锻炼结果被传递到控制器20。
在一个实施例中,锻炼设备12以有线方式与控制器20通信。在另一个实施例中,锻炼设备12以无线方式与控制器20通信。在一个实施例中,锻炼设备12可以使用局域网与控制器20通信或使用因特网通信来传送。在其中系统10包括单个锻炼设备12并且其中控制器20被合并作为单个锻炼设备的一部分的实施例中,这种通信可以直接通过有线或无线方式、或其它可传递的装置例如USB闪盘驱动来进行。

如图3所示,锻炼设备112B包括与锻炼设备112A相比不同类型的锻炼设备。结果,锻炼设备112B提供不同类型的体育锻练。通过增加多样性的体育锻练,锻炼设备112提高了个人达到他或她的健康目标的能力。在所述例子中,锻炼设备112B包括跑步机。在另一个实施例中,锻炼设备112A和112B可以包括除椭圆机和跑步机之外的锻炼装置。

显示器18包括一个或多个设备,通过该设备可把信息或数据输出或显示给个人。显示器18能够使控制器20提供比如锻炼路线、锻炼参数、健康目标的客观预测等信息。在一个实施例中,显示器18可以包括显示屏。在另一个实施例中,显示器18可以用其它方式传递信息,比如通过使用发光二极管或听得见的信号例如语音通信的声音。在一个实施例中,显示器18可被提供作为锻炼设备12中的一个的一部分。在又一个实施例中,显示器18可包括屏幕,其被提供作为与锻炼设备12分开的其它设备的一部分,比如与另一个计算机、个人数据助理(PDA)或与控制器20通信的类似设备相关联的显示器。
控制器20包括一个或多个处理单元22和关联的存储器24,其被配置用来为人或个人实现他或她的健康目标提供指导、激励和鼓舞人心的消息。就本申请的目的,术语“处理单元”指的是目前开发的或将来开发的处理单元,其执行包含在存储器中的指令序列。指令序列的执行使得处理单元执行比如产生控制信号之类的步骤。该指令可以从只读存储器(ROM)、大容量存储设备、或某一其它持久存储器加载到随机存取存储器(RAM)中以由该处理单元执行。在其它的实施例中,硬接线电路可用于替代软件指令或与软件指令结合来实现所述的功能。例如,控制器20可以实现为一个或多个专用集成电路(ASIC)的一部分。除非另有特别说明,控制器不限于硬件电路和软件的任何特定结合,也不限于处理单元执行的任何特殊指令源。
在所图示的例子中,给处理器22提供指令的存储器24包括一个或多个计算机可读程序26。计算机可读程序26包括计算机可读指令,比如软件编码,其被配置用于指导一个多个处理器22的操作。计算机可读程序26特别被配置用于指导处理器22以执行功能或过程,该功能或过程包括但不限于(1)接收个人的健康目标,(2)识别和存储用于使用一个或多个锻炼设备12实现个人的该健康目标的锻炼路线,(3)从多个锻炼设备12中的一个接收锻炼度量,(4)把锻炼度量与锻炼路线和预期结果比较,(5)基于所述比较,调整以前形成的锻炼路线。然后新调整的锻炼路线(其包括用于多个个人体育锻炼的规定的体育锻练参数)被呈现或者另外显示给个人。
如上所指出的,计算机可读程序26指示一个或多个处理器22接收个人的健康目标。健康目标的例子包括但是不限于,体重管理、健康管理、事件准备和成绩提高。对于体重管理的目的,目标将是达到或维持想要的体重。对于健康管理的目的,目标可能是达到或维持某一水平的健身,作为测量的各种生理指标,比如在预定义体育锻炼强度下的人的心率、血压等。事件准备的目的可能是为特殊的锻炼事件或比赛,例如将来的赛跑、自行车事件等作准备。最后,成绩提高的目的可能是在特定的锻炼设备上或当执行特殊的形式或活动时实现或维持某一速度或其它的锻炼度量。
一旦已经接收到健康目标,处理器22,遵循计算机可读程序26提供的指令,识别和存储使用一个或多个锻炼设备12实现健康目标的锻炼路线。为了这样做,处理器22可以通过显示器18(作为锻炼设备的一部分或作为单独的显示器)提供提示或查询,要求个人输入某些个人属性,比如他或她的年龄、体重、性别、可用的体育锻炼时间、每周频率偏好、优选的锻炼设备、达到健康目标的日期,以及对其它相关问题的答案。控制器20还可以要求比如人的体重以及身体成份的信息。可替换地,如果配备了这种传感器,这个信息可直接地从锻炼设备获得。
除请求输入这些信息之外,控制器20还可能请求个人完成健康评估测试。特别地,控制器20可为锻炼设备12中的一个显示健康测试参数。锻炼参数包括但不限于某一持续时间的某一速度或速率、某一阻力水平或体育锻炼强度。可替换地,控制器20可以控制被用于测试的锻炼设备12,以便设置所指出的参数。在人锻炼期间,作为测试的一部分,控制器20接收健康测试度量或锻炼结果。在一个实施例中,这种结果是在规定测试强度水平上的心率的形式。在测试期间,锻炼设备还可以检测个人的身体成份以及体重。这些值也被传递到控制器20。在测试体育锻炼的结束时,控制器20可以要求个人评定他或她的测试体育锻炼是容易的、适度的或难的。如图4示意地表示的那样,控制器20使用测试结果(心率)以及感测的属性(体重32以及身体成份34)中的每个,控制器20评定个人的健康水平或健康指标36并使用健康水平36识别或创建锻炼路线。
在特定的实施例中,控制器20可以利用其它输入或历史信息来形成或识别锻炼路线。例如,在一个实施例中,控制器20另外可包括通信接口28,通过该接口,控制器20可以传送和接收来自外部源的数据或输入。例如,在一个实施例中,控制器20可以经由通信接口28从用户、医师、卫生保健提供者、或私人教练(通过个人使用输入装置16识别)接收输入数据或历史数据。例如,当创建锻炼路线时,控制器20可以自动地对应病历并且与病历(位于医生或卫生保健提供者的服务器上)通信以获得额外的输入。在特定的实施例中,控制器20可以请求授权输入装置16获得授权书或访问这种数据。
控制器20存储识别的或产生的锻炼路线并且经由显示器18将锻炼路线展现给个人。产生的锻炼路线可被存储作为用户简档的一部分,其可通过USB、无线或有线连接被上传到锻炼设备12。在特定实施例中,控制器20还可被配置自动地传送或转发规定的锻炼路线以及锻炼目标给医师或卫生保健提供者。
为了本公开的目的,术语“锻炼路线”是指一个或多个规定的体育锻炼参数(个人的体育锻炼参数)以及在一个或多个锻炼设备12上的每个规定体育锻炼的频率(即每周的次数)。锻炼路线可包括个人体育锻炼参数、每周体育锻炼分组以及每周分组的集合。锻炼路线提供用于个人的锻炼方式。锻炼路线可包括多种不同类型的体育锻炼,包括但不限于静止(积极性恢复)、主动再生、降低需氧性(loweraerobic)、提高需氧性(upperaerobic)、需氧代谢能力(aerobicpower)、厌氧交叉、需氧代谢能力以及最大厌氧体育锻炼。在一些实施例中,个人可具有选择或超越(override)锻炼路线的选择。在其它实施例中,控制器20可以自动地调整锻炼设备的至少一些设置以基于沿着该锻炼路线个人目前驻留在何处来匹配锻炼路线的锻炼参数或体育锻炼参数。
在个人体育锻炼期间,控制器20从特定锻炼设备12接收锻炼度量或锻炼结果。如上面所指出的,这样的锻炼结果可以包括阻力源128,152所施加的阻力水平(如图2,3所示的)、体育锻炼的强度、锻炼设备的可移动部件被驱动或移动的速率或速度、体育锻炼的持续时间或在不同强度水平或不同设置上体育锻炼的部分或分段的持续时间、或者个人的检测的心率或与体育锻炼相关联的其它度量或值。在个人体育锻炼期间,控制器20还可以接收个人的身体成份和体重的更新结果。
使用所接收的锻炼结果,控制器20基于推荐的锻炼路线形成特定锻炼结果与期望的锻炼结果的比较。基于该比较,控制器20遵循计算机可读程序26的指令调整路线。在一个实施例中,路线的调整还可基于经由通信接口28从医师、卫生保健提供者、私人教练或其它的信息提供者接收的额外输入。
在一个实施例中,这种路线调整可以基于对该路线的符合程度。例如,如果锻炼的个人一贯地产生基本上不符合并且不满足规定的锻炼路线水平的锻炼结果,则控制器20可以减少强度并且减少体育锻炼的频率。路线调整可以导致用于达到健康目标的延迟估计日期。可替换地,如果锻炼的个人一贯地超额完成(outperform)路线,则控制器20可以增加体育锻炼的强度、频率或其它参数。在一个实施例中,控制器20被配置用于使用该路线向个人提供健康预测。这样的健康预测告诉个人假定遵循路线在什么时候他或她的健康水平将实现某一标准。
图5示出一个示例性过程200,通过该过程,锻炼引导系统10创建并且调整锻炼路线202。如步骤210所指示的,系统10最初可以创建简档,其包括诸如个人的年龄、性别、身高、健康历史以及参加计划之类的属性。也可从该人的医师或者卫生保健提供者获得这些信息。
如步骤212所指示的,系统10还继续进行关于人的体重和身体成份的数据收集。这个数据收集可以使用输入装置16来实现或者可以使用在锻炼设备上的各种传感器来实现。如步骤214所指示的,在体育锻炼期间,系统10获得额外的健康评定信息,例如人的心率或代谢当量(Mets)。基于所收集的所有数据,系统10产生所图示的锻炼路线202。
锻炼路线202(还称为“计划路径”)包括大量的个人体育锻炼220(如节点所图示的)。在每次体育锻炼之后,或在预定义最小数目的体育锻炼(以减少锻炼路线的连续调整),系统10调整锻炼路线。这样的调整可以是这样使得锻炼路线更加困难或可替换地更容易。
也基于其它因素可以调整锻炼路线202。例如,如果控制器20识别打断每个体育锻炼的持续时间的个人的趋势或模式,则控制器20可以自动地调整每个体育锻炼的持续时间以更好地适应个人有限的时间或时间需求。在一个实施例中,控制器20可以为个人提供记录(notch)并且显示或延长满足他或她健康目标的日期或可以请求增加较短工作体育锻炼的强度或频率。
尽管已经参考示例性实施例描述了本公开,但是本领域技术人员应当意识到形式和细节的变化并不脱离要求的主题的意旨和范围。例如,尽管已经描述了包括提供一个或多个益处的一个或多个特征的不同示例性实施例,但是应当认为,在所述示例性实施例或其它可替换实施例中,所述特征可彼此互换或可替换地可彼此组合。因为本公开的技术相对复杂,因此并非技术的所有变化都是可预测的。参考示例性实施例描述并在下文的权利要求书中阐述的本公开显然打算涵盖尽可能大的范围。例如,除非明确指出,列举单个特定元素的权利要求也包含多个这种特定元素。
Claims (20)
1.锻炼引导系统,包括:
用于接收个人的健康目标的装置;
用于识别和存储用于使用第一锻炼设备实现该健康目标的锻炼路线的装置,该锻炼路线包括对于第一体育锻炼、第一体育锻炼之后的第二体育锻炼和第二体育锻炼之后的第三体育锻炼推荐的体育锻炼参数;
用于在第一体育锻炼期间从第一锻炼设备接收锻炼度量的装置;
用于形成锻炼度量和锻炼路线的比较以基于所述比较调整该路线的第二体育锻炼和该路线的第三体育锻炼的推荐的体育锻炼参数的装置;以及
用于在显示器上向个人显示调整的路线的装置,其中显示的调整的路线包括调整的路线的第二体育锻炼和调整的路线的第三体育锻炼。
2.如权利要求1所述的锻炼引导系统,还包括用于基于该调整的路线显示目标客观预测的装置。
3.如权利要求1所述的锻炼引导系统,其中该锻炼路线包括参数,该参数包括:体育锻炼类型、强度、持续时间以及频率。
4.如权利要求1所述的锻炼引导系统,还包括:
用于显示用于第一锻炼设备的健康测试参数的装置;
用于接收用于第一锻炼设备的个人的健康测试度量的装置;以及
用于评定个人的健康水平的装置,其中锻炼路线是基于个人的健康水平。
5.如权利要求1所述的锻炼引导系统,还包括用于基于与该路线的体育锻炼类型、频率、强度、以及持续时间参数符合程度来调整路线的装置。
6.如权利要求1所述的锻炼引导系统,还包括用来基于来自第一锻炼设备的信息在显示器上显示与个人的目标相关的个人的健康评估的装置,该信息包括个人的心率、身体成份以及体重。
7.如权利要求1所述的锻炼引导系统,其中该路线包括在每天体育锻炼类型以及强度顺序所示的个人体育锻炼参数、每周的体育锻炼分组以及每周的分组集合。
8.如权利要求1所述的锻炼引导系统,其中该路线被调整以减小小于预定值的符合或参数的难度。
9.如权利要求1所述的锻炼引导系统,其中健康目标选自一组目标,其包括:体重管理、健康管理、事件准备以及成绩提高。
10.如权利要求1所述的锻炼引导系统,还包括通信接口,还包括用于经由通信接口从医师接收健康目标的装置。
11.如权利要求1所述的锻炼引导系统,还包括用于把该比较传送到医师的装置。
12.如权利要求1所述的锻炼引导系统,还包括用于从医师接收输入并且使用该输入调整路线的装置。
13.如权利要求1所述的锻炼引导系统,还包括用于把该比较传送到健康保险公司的装置。
14.如权利要求1所述的锻炼引导系统,还包括用于从健康保险公司接收输入并且使用该输入调整路线的装置。
15.如权利要求1所述的锻炼引导系统,还包括:
用于从第二锻炼设备接收锻炼度量的装置;
用于形成来自于第一锻炼设备和第二锻炼设备的锻炼度量和锻炼路线的比较以基于所述比较调整路线的装置;以及
用于在显示器上向个人显示调整的路线的装置。
16.如权利要求15所述的锻炼引导系统,其中第一锻炼设备包括椭圆机,并且其中第二锻炼设备包括不同的心脏训练器。
17.一种用于锻炼引导的方法,包括:
接收并在持久性存储设备中存储个人的健康目标;
识别和存储使用一个或多个锻炼设备实现目标的锻炼路线,该路线包括用于第一体育锻炼、第一体育锻炼之后的第二体育锻炼和第二体育锻炼之后的第三体育锻炼的规定的体育锻炼参数;
从来自该一个或多个锻炼设备之一的第一体育锻炼接收锻炼度量;
形成锻炼度量和锻炼路线的比较以基于该比较调整该路线的第二体育锻炼和该路线的第三体育锻炼的推荐的体育锻炼参数;以及
向个人显示调整的路线,其中显示的调整的路线包括调整的路线的第二体育锻炼和调整的路线的第三体育锻炼。
18.如权利要求17所述的方法,还包括显示基于该路线的目标客观预测。
19.如权利要求17所述的方法,还包括显示对该路线的符合程度。
20.锻炼引导系统,包括:
用于接收个人的健康目标的装置;
用于接收来自医师、私人教练或个人的输入的装置;
用于识别和存储使用第一锻炼设备和来自医师或健康保险公司之一的输入实现健康目标的锻炼路线的装置,锻炼路线包括用于第一体育锻炼、第一体育锻炼之后的第二体育锻炼和第二体育锻炼之后的第三体育锻炼的规定的体育锻炼参数;
用于从第一锻炼设备和第二锻炼设备接收个人的锻炼度量的装置,该锻炼度量包括体育锻炼类型、频率、强度和体育锻炼持续时间的确定;
用于形成锻炼度量和锻炼路线的比较以基于该比较调整该路线的第二体育锻炼和该路线的第三体育锻炼的推荐的体育锻炼参数的装置;以及
用于在显示器上向个人显示调整的路线的装置,其中显示的调整的路线包括调整的路线的第二体育锻炼和调整的路线的第三体育锻炼。
