技术领域

背景技术
无线通信系统网络已变成一种大多数人借以在全世界范围内进行通信的流行装置。为满足消费者的需要并提高便携性及方便性,无线通信装置已变得更小且功能更强大。诸如蜂窝式电话等移动装置的处理能力的增加已导致对无线网络传输系统的需求也在增加。而这类系统却通常不像通过其进行通信的蜂窝式装置一样易于更新。随着移动装置能力的扩展,可能难以以一种促进充分利用新的及改进的无线装置能力的方式来维持旧的无线网络系统。
更确切来说,基于频分的技术通常通过将频谱分成若干个均匀带宽块而将所述频谱分成不同的信道,例如,可将指配用于无线通信的频带的划分分成30个信道,其每一者可携载语音会话或通过数字服务来携载数字数据。每次只能将一个用户指配给每一信道。一种已知的变型是正交频分技术,其将整个系统带宽有效地分割成多个正交子频带。所述子频带还称为音调、载波、副载波、频段及频率信道。每一子频带都与可使用数据进行调制的副载波相关联。对于基于时分的技术,将频带按时间顺序分成顺序性的时间片或者时隙。为信道的每一用户提供用于循环方式传输及接收信息的时间片。例如,在任一既定时间t处,可为用户提供对信道的短猝发存取。然后,存取会切换到另一个被提供用于传输及接收信息的短猝发时间的用户。所述“轮流”循环会继续进行下去,且最终每一用户都被提供多个传输及接收猝发。
典型的无线通信网络(例如,使用频分、时分及码分技术)包括一个或多个提供覆盖区域的基站及一个或多个可在所述覆盖区域内传输及接收数据的移动(例如,无线)终端机。典型的基站可同时传输广播、多播及/或单播服务的多个数据流,其中数据流是可独立接收的移动终端机感兴趣的数据流。基站覆盖区域内的移动终端机可能对接收由复合流所携载的一个或一个以上或全部数据流感兴趣。同样,移动终端机可向所述基站或另一移动终端机传输数据。基站与移动终端机之间或者各移动终端机之间的这种通信可能会由于信道改变及/或干扰功率改变而出现降级。例如,上述改变可能会影响基站调度、功率控制及/或一个或多个移动终端机的速率预测。
在基于OFDMA系统的情况下,在其上传输通信信号所需的特定波形及功率通常表现出不符合需要的高峰均值比(PAR),这会由于非线性功率放大器的效率低下而限制OFDMA系统的覆盖。单载波FDMA系统可减轻与不符合需要的高PAR相关联的问题,但仍然受到各种限制,这就形成了此项技术中对减轻这类无线网络系统中各移动装置间及/或各扇区间干扰的系统及/或方法的需要。
发明内容

为促进跳频,可在无线网络中使用单载波FDMA调制技术。例如,可使用交错频分多路复用(IFDM)来保留与正交频分多路复用(OFDM)协议相关联的益处。另外,在某些情况下,与OFDM相比,单载波FDMA调制技术可具有峰均值比(PAR)较低的问题。类似地,根据相关方面,可使用经本地化的频分多路复用(LFDM),其还可表现出较低的PAR而同时保持与OFDM协议相关联的其它益处。LFDMA还可称为“窄频带”FDMA、经典FDMA或者简称为FDMA,且是一种单载波FDMA协议。
OFDMA调制符号处在频域中,且因此通过对所述调制符号序列实施快速傅立叶技术所获得时域信号可具有不符合需要的高PAR。通过比较,IFDMA调制符号处在时域中,且因此IFDMA调制技术不会表现出通常与OFDMA技术相关联的高PAR。因此,IFDMA(及类似地LFDMA)调制协议可减小不符合需要的高PAR及与其相关联的问题。

在某些实施例中,可将信道指派及单载波传输只应用于上行链路,而下行链路传输使用一种或多种OFDM方案。在这些情况下,可在下行链路上使用一种或多种独立于上行链路上所用方案的OFDM型存取方案。

如关于图2及3所详述,在1004处,可从信道树中的指配给用户的节点向上到第一子节点来读取用户装置的节点序列以确定用户偏移的值。可从查找表收集1004处与所识别偏移相关的信息以促进将具体副载波组指派给用户。例如,可为经指配而具有1值的节点的用户指派偏移3,所述节点悬挂在具有1值的父节点下面,而所述父节点又悬挂在所述树的根节点下面。另外,由于指配给用户的节点距离所述树的顶端三个节点(其中包括经指配的节点及根节点,出于确定偏移U的目的并不读取所述根节点,但确定副载波数量时会将其计算在内),所以可为其指派数量等于NFFT/4的偏移副载波。根据图解说明二进制信道树的另一实例,可为其所指配的节点距离根节点四个节点(其中包括所述根节点)且其直系后代全部为1(例如,指配节点=1,父节点=0,祖父节点=1,根节点)的用户指派偏移7(例如,二进制111),其可具有数量等于NFFT/8的副载波。根据另一实例,如果上方的直系后代是101(例如,指配节点=1,父节点=0,祖父节点=1,根节点),则可为所述用户指派具有数量等于NFFT/8的副载波的偏移5等。
如关于图9所详述,在1006处,可产生IFDMA符号。在1008处,可将此类符号/信号转换成模拟信号以促进其传输。在1010处,可修改节点值指派以促进跳频以减轻干扰。例如,可更改信道树中一个或多个子节点值的指派以改变与指配给用户的节点实际相关联的偏移。例如,在以上实例中,在1010处,指配给用户的包括NFFT/8个副载波的偏移1(例如,二进制111)可使其父节点对得到更改,以致其节点的指配直系后代变为二进制101,这本身也会导致为用户重新指派偏移5等。根据所述实例,在节点值指派改变期间,用户节点的指配可为静态的以确保用户保留数量等于NFFT/8的副载波。另外,可根据预定时间表及/或根据触发事件(例如,在传输每一EFDMA符号(符号率跳跃)、每数个符号(块跳跃)等时)来实施用户偏移的修改。
应了解,尽管前文实例阐述使用二进制节点值指派的信道树,但可将非二进制指派给此类节点。此外,父节点可具有任何适合数量的与其相关联的子节点以促进将偏移指配给用户装置并实施跳频以减轻干扰。
图11图解说明方法1100,其用于使用可(例如)结合跳频协议使用的LFDMA协议来产生用以改善干扰分集的信号。在1102处,用户装置可可开始通过对N个调制符号(例如,[d0 d1 d2...dN-1])采取N-点快速傅立叶变换(FFT)来产生包括所述N个调制符号的信号以获得[D0 D1 D2...DN-1]。在1304处,然后,可将所述变换的符号放入所指配的副载波[U,U+1,...U+N-1]内。在1106处,可实施NFFT-点逆快速傅立叶变换以获得NFFT个时域样本。如果需要,可通过将后NCP个时域样本拷贝到所述符号的开头从而以可选的方式将循环前缀添加至所述符号以获得LFDMA时域符号。

图12图解说明方法1200,其用于更改针对LFDMA无线通信环境中用户的偏移指派。在1202处,可产生信道树以映射用户偏移指派,且可将所述树中的节点指配给无线网络中的个别用户。可以类似于关于图1、2及3所述的方式来实施节点指配。在某些方面中,预产生所述信道树,且以查找表等形式将所述节点、其关系及值存储在存储器中。

在1206处,可如关于图10所述产生LFDMA信号并将其转换成模拟信号以便进行传输。在1208处,可改变信道树中的节点值指派以促进跳频,例如,关于图10所阐述。如果需要,则可在节点值指派改变期间维持用户节点指配(例如,处于静态),以维持距离所述偏移树根节点的恒定距离,这也可促进确保无论跳频如何都可将准确数量的副载波指派给既定的用户。根据相关的方面,可至少部分地基于与用户资源要求相关的信息,动态地将其频率及/或副载波要求由于先前的节点指配重复而发生改变的用户重新指配给信道树上更高或更低的节点。以此方式,可在单载波FDMA系统(例如,LFDMA系统)中使用跳频以改善干扰分集且可为使用方法1200的无线网络的用户提供更为稳健的通信经验。
图13显示例示性无线通信系统1300。为简明起见,无线通信系统1300绘示一个基站和一个终端机。然而,应了解,所述系统可包括一个以上的基站及/或一个以上的终端机,其中额外的基站及/或终端机大体上可类似于或者不同于下文所述的例示性基站及终端机。此外,应了解,基站及/或终端机可使用本文所述的系统(图1-8)及/或方法(图9-12)来促进其间的无线通信。
现在参照图13,在下行链路上,在存取点1305处,传输(TX)数据处理器1310接收、格式化、编码、交错、及调制(或者符号映射)业务数据并提供调制符号(“数据符号”)。符号调制器1315接收并处理所述数据符号及导频符号并提供符号流。符号调制器1320在适当的子频带上对数据及导频符号进行多路复用,为每一未使用的子频带提供零信号值,且每一符号周期获得N个子频带的一组N个发射符号。每一发射符号可为数据符号、导频符号、或零信号值。所述导频符号可在每一符号周期内连续发送。应了解,可对所述导频符号进行时分多路复用(TDM)、频分多路复用(FDM)、或者码分多路复用(CDM)。符号调制器1320可使用N点IFFT将每一组N个发射符号变换至时域,以获得含有N个时域码片的“已变换”符号。符号调制器1320通常会重复每一所变换符号的一部分,以获得对应的符号。所重复部分称为循环前缀,并用来抵抗无线信道中的延迟扩展。
发射器单元(TMTR)1320接收所述符号流并将其转换成一个或多个模拟信号,并进一步调节(例如,放大、滤波及上变频)所述模拟信号,以产生适于在无线信道上发射的下行链路信号。然后,经由天线1325将所述下行链路信号发射至终端机。在终端机1330处,天线1335接收所述下行链路信号并将所接收的信号提供至接收器单元(RCVR)1340。接收器单元1340调节(例如,滤波、放大、及下变频)所接收的信号,并将经调节的信号数字化以获得样本。符号解调器1345移除附加至每一符号的循环前缀,使用N-点FFT将每一所接收的已变换符号变换至频域,每一符号周期获得所述N个子频带的N个接收符号,且将所接收的导频符号提供至处理器1350以用于信道估计。符号解调器1345进一步从处理器1350接收下行链路的频率响应估计,对所接收的数据符号实施数据解调以获得数据符号估计(其为所传输数据符号的估计),并将所述数据符号估计提供至RX数据处理器1355,所述RX数据处理器对数据符号估计进行解调(即,符号解映射)、解交错及解码以恢复所发射的业务数据。符号解调器1345及RX数据处理器1355所执行的处理分别与符号调制器1315及TX数据处理器1310在存取点1305处执行的处理互补。
在上行链路上,TX数据处理器1360处理业务数据并提供数据符号。符号调制器1365接收所述具有导频符号的数据符号并对其进行多路复用,执行符号调制,并提供符号流。可在指配给终端机1330以供导频传输之用的子频带上传输所述导频符号,其中所述上行链路的导频子频带的数量可相同于或者可不同于下行链路导频子频带的数量。然后,发射器单元1370接收并处理所述符号流,以产生上行链路信号,所述上行链路信号可通过天线1335发射至存取点1305。
在存取点1305处,来自终端机1330的上行链路信号由天线1325接收并由接收器单元1375处理以获得样本。然后,符号解调器1380处理所述样本并为上行链路提供接收的导频符号及数据符号估计。RX数据处理器1385处理数据符号估计,以恢复终端机1335所传输的业务数据。处理器1390对每一在上行链路上进行传输的活动终端机实施信道估计。多个终端机可在上行链路上、在其各自所指配的导频子频带组上同时传输导频,其中所述导频子频带组可交织。
处理器1390及1350分别指挥(例如,控制、协调、管理等)存取点1305及终端机1335处的操作。各自处理器1390及1350可与存储程序代码及数据的存储器单元(未显示)相关联。处理器1390及1350还可实施计算以分别得出上行链路及下行链路的频率及脉冲响应估计。
在另外的方面中,可提供多天线发射器。在这些方面中,可在TX数据处理器1310的输入端处提供解多路复用器,所述TX数据处理器根据不同的子频带产生多个单独处理、编码及解调的数据流。另外,可在TX数据处理器1310或调制器1320的输出端处提供MBVIO处理,以在发射之前但在数据处理之后形成多个发射流。在接收器1330处,可使用不同的技术来解码来自多个天线的信号。
对于多址系统(例如,频分多址(OFDMA)系统等),多个终端机可同时在上行链路上进行传输。对于此类系统,可在不同终端机之中共享所述导频子频带。信道估计技术可用于其中每一终端机的导频子频带横跨整个操作频带(可能地频带边缘除外)的情况。为获得每一终端机的频率分集,期望使用这种导频子频带结构。本文所述技术可由各种装置来实施。例如,这些技术可构建在硬件、软件、或其一组合中。对于硬件实施方案,信道估计所用的处理单元可构建在一个或多个应用专用集成电路(ASIC)、数字信号处理器(DSP)、数字信号处理装置(DSPD)、可编程逻辑装置(PLD)、场可编程门阵列(FPGA)、处理器、控制器、微控制器、微处理器、其它设计用于执行本文所述功能的电子单元、或其一组合中。对于软件,可通过实施本文所述功能的模块(例如,程序、功能等)来进行构建。软件代码可存储在存储器单元中并由处理器1390及1350来执行。
上文所述包括一个或多个实施例的实例。当然,不可能出于说明前述实施例的目的而说明各组件或方法的每一种可构想组合,但所属技术领域的技术人员可认识到,各个实施例都可存在很多进一步的组合及排列。相应地,所述实施例旨在囊括归属于随附权利要求书的精神及范畴内的所有这些改变、修改及改动型式。此外,关于本详细说明或权利要求书中使用措词“包含(includes)”这一点,所述措词的包含方式拟与措词“包括(comprising)”在权利要求中用作转折词时所解释的方式相同。

Claims (56)

1.一种产生传输符号的方法,其包括:
产生至少一个单载波FDMA符号;
指派一组副载波以传输所述至少一个符号;
产生至少一个其它单载波FDMA符号;及
根据预定模式改变副载波组指派以用于传输所述至少一个其它单载波FDMA符号。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,改变所述副载波组指派包括改动预定偏移组中至少一个偏移的指派。
3.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中通过若干个帧的传输来描述所述预定模式。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中通过时间周期的期满来描述所述预定模式。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法,以通过预定数量的单载波FDMA符号的所述传输描述的固定间隔来改变所述副载波组指派。
6.如权利要求5所述的方法,将副载波指派给用户装置包括:
产生包括多个节点的信道树;
给每一子节点指派代表非负整数的节点值;及
将用户装置指派给所述信道树中的节点以界定指派给所述用户装置的副载波组。
7.如权利要求1所述的方法,其进一步包括使用IFDMA协议来产生传输符号以用于传输所述至少一个单载波FDMA符号。
8.如权利要求1所述的方法,其进一步包括自下而上地读取信道树以确定所述副载波组。
9.如权利要求8所述的方法,其进一步包括读取所述信道树中从用户装置指派节点向上到所述树的根节点的路径。
10.如权利要求9所述的方法,其进一步包括评估所述路径中节点的值,所述路径以所述用户装置指派节点开始并以所述根节点的第一子节点结束。
11.如权利要求10所述的方法,其进一步包括实施表格查找以识别对应于从所述用户装置指派节点到所述根节点的所述第一子节点的所述路径的所述值的副载波组,并给所述用户装置指派所述经识别的副载波组。
12.如权利要求9所述的方法,其进一步包括周期性地改变节点值指派以更改用户装置副载波组指派。
13.如权利要求9所述的方法,其中给每一节点指派非二进制值。
14.如权利要求9所述的方法,其中给每一节点指派二进制值。
15.如权利要求1所述的方法,其进一步包括:当副载波组指派为保证对整个可用带宽的信道估计的大小时,使用IFDMA协议来产生传输符号并在传输每一符号时改变副载波组指派。
16.如权利要求1所述的方法,其进一步包括使用LFDMA协议产生传输符号以用于传输所述至少一个单载波FDMA符号。
17.如权利要求1所述的方法,其中副载波指派作为扇区身份及时间中的至少一者的函数而改变。
18.一种促进用于单载波FDMA通信的跳频的设备,其包括:
存储器;及
处理器,其与所述存储器耦合,所述处理器经配置以将偏移指派给用户装置并根据预定模式来改变所述用户装置的所述偏移。
19.如权利要求18所述的设备,其中所述处理器进一步经配置以利用具有多个节点的信道树并将所述信道树中的节点指派给相应用户装置。
20.如权利要求19所述的设备,其中所述信道树为非二进制信道树,其中每一节点具有一个或多个子节点。
21.如权利要求19所述的设备,其中每一子节点被指派一非二进制值。
22.如权利要求19所述的设备,其中所述处理器进一步经配置以沿所述信道树中从指派给所述用户装置的所述节点到根节点的第一子节点的路径读取所述信道树并评估所述路径的值。
23.如权利要求22所述的设备,其中所述处理器进一步经配置以实施表格查找以识别对应于从指派给所述用户装置的所述节点到所述根节点的所述路径的所述值的偏移且将所述经识别的偏移指派给所述用户装置中的至少一者。
24.如权利要求23所述的设备,其中指派给所述用户装置一对应于从所述根节点到指派给所述用户装置的所述节点的所述路径的所述值的偏移。
25.如权利要求24所述的设备,其中所述处理器进一步经配置以周期性地置换所述信道树中一个或多个节点的节点值指派以通过改动从所述用户指派节点到所述根节点的所述路径的所述值来改动所述用户装置的偏移。
26.如权利要求19所述的设备,其中所述处理器进一步经配置以沿所述信道树中从根节点的所述第一子节点到指派给所述用户装置的节点的路径读取所述信道树并评估所述路径的值。
27.如权利要求19所述的设备,其中所述信道树为具有多个节点的非二进制信道树,其每一者被指派一代表非负整数的值。
28.如权利要求19所述的设备,其中所述处理器进一步经配置以沿向上方向读取所述信道树以为使用IFDMA通信协议的用户装置确定偏移指派且沿向下方向读取所述信道树以为使用LFDMA通信协议的用户装置确定偏移指派。
29.如权利要求19所述的设备,其中所述处理器进一步经配置以通过更改节点值指派来周期性地置换相应用户装置之间的偏移指派。
30.如权利要求18所述的设备,其中所述处理器进一步经配置以使用符号率跳跃技术在所述用户装置传输每一符号时更改一个或多个节点的节点值指派。
31.如权利要求30所述的设备,所述跳频组件经配置以使用块跳跃技术在所述用户装置传输多于一个符号的块时更改一个或多个节点的节点值指派。
32.一种设备,其包括:
用于产生至少一个单载波FDMA符号的装置;
用于指派一组副载波以传输所述至少一个符号的装置;
用于产生至少一个其它单载波FDMA符号的装置;及
用于根据预定模式改变副载波组指派以传输所述至少一个其它单载波FDAM符号的装置。
33.如权利要求32所述的设备,所述用于指派的装置包括用于将信道树中的节点指配给所述用户装置的装置及用于给所述信道树中的每一节点指派值的装置。
34.如权利要求33所述的设备,所述用于指派的装置进一步包括用于读取所述信道树中从指配的用户节点到根节点的路径以确定所述路径中的节点的值的装置,所述值识别拟指派给所述用户装置的所述副载波组及拟包含在所述组中的若干个副载波。
35.如权利要求34所述的设备,所述用于周期性改变的装置更改指派给所述信道树中的一个或多个节点的值以改变所述指配的用户节点与所述根节点之间的所述路径的所述值。
36.如权利要求35所述的设备,所述用于指派的装置指派一组与从所述指配的用户节点到所述根节点的所述路径的所述已改变值相关联的新副载波。
37.如权利要求36所述的设备,所述用于改变的装置在传输所述至少一个单载波FDMA符号时更改节点值。
38.一种计算机可读媒体,其上存储有用于如下操作的计算机可执行指令:
将与偏移相关的实体指派给用户装置;及
至少部分地基于所述指派的实体而周期性地改变所述用户装置的所述偏移。
39.如权利要求38所述的计算机可读媒体,其进一步包括用于如下操作的指令:
给信道树的每一节点指派值;
给至少一个用户装置指配节点以将副载波组指派给所述至少一个用户装置;及
根据模式置换节点值以改动指派给所述至少一个用户装置的所述副载波组。
40.如权利要求39所述的计算机可读媒体,其进一步包括用于读取所述信道树中指配给所述至少一个用户装置的所述节点与根节点之间的路径的指令。
41.如权利要求40所述的计算机可读媒体,其进一步包括至少部分地基于从所述路径中的节点的所述值得出的路径值确定副载波组以指派给所述至少一个用户装置的指令。
42.如权利要求40所述的计算机可读媒体,其进一步包括至少部分地基于所述路径中包括所述根节点和指配给所述至少一个用户装置的所述节点在内的所述若干节点确定若干副载波以指派给所述至少一个用户装置的指令。
43.如权利要求38所述的计算机可读媒体,其中所述用以置换的指令包括用于至少部分地基于所述指派的实体来计算所述用户装置的偏移的指令。
44.一种无线通信装置,其包括:
存储器,其包含对应于用于传输单载波FDMA符号的多个偏移指派的信息;及
处理器,其与所述存储器耦合,所述处理器经配置以基于所述信息根据预定模式来改变所述偏移指派。
45.如权利要求44所述的无线通信装置,其中所述信息对应于信道树的节点的值。
46.如权利要求45所述的无线通信装置,其中所述节点对应于根节点及子节点。
47.如权利要求45所述的无线通信装置,其中所述信道树是非二进制信道树,其中每一节点具有一个或多个子节点。
48.如权利要求45所述的无线通信装置,其中值对应于通过沿所述信道树中从指派给所述用户装置的所述节点到根节点的所述第一子节点的所述路径读取所述信道树而产生的值且评估所述路径的值。
49.如权利要求45所述的无线通信装置,其中所述信息包括查找表。
50.一种产生传输符号的方法,其包括:
在用户装置处产生至少一个单载波FDMA符号;
基于所述用户装置处的用户信息指派一组副载波以传输所述至少一个符号;
在所述用户装置处产生至少一个其它单载波FDMA符号;及
基于所述信息根据预定偏移改动来更改副载波组指派以传输所述至少一个其它单载波FDMA符号。
51.如权利要求50所述的方法,其进一步包括从查找表中读取值,且其中更改所述副载波组指派包括通过将当前副载波组位置更改所述值来改动所述指派。
52.如权利要求50所述的方法,其中通过若干个帧的传输来描述所述预定模式。
53.如权利要求50所述的方法,其中通过时间周期的期满来描述所述预定模式。
54.如权利要求50所述的方法,以通过预定数量的单载波FDMA符号的所述传输描述的固定间隔来改变所述副载波组指派。
55.如权利要求1所述的方法,其进一步包括:当副载波组指派为保证对整个可用带宽的信道估计的大小时,使用IFDMA协议来产生传输符号并在传输每一符号时改变副载波组指派。
