技术领域

背景技术
诸如爱滋病、肝炎和其它的疾病在普通人群中日益增长。这些疾病的发生增加了在使用注射器组件时对阻止意外的针头刺伤的需求。许多现有技术装置包括自回缩的针头以减轻意外的针头刺伤。
许多危及生命的情形,诸如过敏诱导的过敏性休克,以及暴露在化学、放射性,和生物武器,会需要使用自动注射装置。通常的自动注射装置是允许未受医学训练的使用者通过手动触发自动注射而自动注射药物的注射器组件。有些现有的自动注射装置还设有自动回缩针头。
人们一直需要改进的自动注射和回缩注射器。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种具有选择性地可连接的注射装置和回缩装置的自动注射和回缩注射器。

参照图2,注射器10是可以由使用者或医疗提供者(例如,药剂师,医生,护士)方便装配的多部件装置。由于注射器10的示范性实施方案在生产时不需要装配,本发明有效地将药筒14的有效期与注射器10的有效期分开。例如,通常的流感疫苗具有一年的有效期。因此使用者可以保有本发明的注射组件12和回缩组件16的供应,只更换任何过期的药筒14。

在启动注射器10之前,回缩弹簧70在针头接口83和端帽76之间被部分地偏置。原因描述如下,回缩弹簧70具有低于注射弹簧的弹性系数。在部分偏置的状态下,回缩弹簧70以与注射方向48相反的方向推动针头接口83以保持上密封件74与正面密封面80接触,因而相对正面密封面80进行密封。在启动前,皮下针72完全保持在位于上密封件74、下密封件78之间的密封容积内。
在此情况下,回缩弹簧70保持上密封件74相对回缩组件16中的密封表面80进行密封。因此回缩组件16可以在生产中进行最后的无菌处理以在包括皮下针72的上密封件74和下密封件78之间保持无菌容积备用。
针72为包括第一或药物入口针头82和第二或组织穿刺和药物出口针头84的双末端皮下针。入口针头82位于上密封件74附近,同时出口针头84位于下密封件78附近。
在使用注射器10时,活塞24的运动以注射方向48朝上密封件74推动药筒14,以使入口针头82刺入上密封件和隔膜60以使针头与药筒发生流体联系。由于药筒14内的药剂是不可压缩的流体,活塞24的进一步运动通过克服回缩弹簧70的作用力也以注射方向48推动针72。因此,出口针头84刺破下密封件78并在注射点插入组织。最后,活塞24的运动以注射方向48推动活塞24以使筒14内的药物通过出口针头84被推动进入使用者。
例如,图6中显示了处于完全组装状态的注射器10,其中筒14位于回缩组件16内,并且注射组件12固定至回缩组件。这里,端帽58通过上密封件74被密封接合,以使端帽的隔膜60与第一针头82对齐。
在图7中,显示了启动注射组件12之后的注射器10。这里,注射弹簧22驱动活塞24进入药筒14,以使活塞的驱动端38与活塞56接合。注射弹簧22克服了回缩弹簧70的作用力以压缩回缩弹簧,并以注射方向48移动筒14,以使得端帽58使上密封件74变形进入第一针头82。在这种方式中,第一针头刺破上密封件74和隔膜60以使针72与筒14以流体连通。
注射弹簧22以注射方向48移动针72,以使得第二针头84刺破下密封件78并进入使用者的皮肤。另外,注射弹簧22以注射方向48移动活塞24的驱动端38以通过第二针头84从筒中推出药物。
在活塞56移动至完成注射来自筒14药物的位点上,活塞24以注射方向48运动至足以引起分离器28使活塞24与联结器30,及注射弹簧脱离。一旦注射弹簧22被脱离,如图8所示意,回缩弹簧70以回缩方向50推动针72,筒14,和活塞24返回进入回缩组件16。在该实施方案中,注射组件12与回缩组件16被永久固定,针72回缩进入回缩组件使注射器10在使用后没有使处理注射器的任何人遭受被使用过的针头意外损伤的危险,从而处理上安全。
在回缩组件16的一个实施方案中,管状部分86可以是透明的。一旦注射器10被组装,透明的管状部分86允许使用者和医疗提供者观察到筒14,以确认筒中正确的剂量体积,确认药物溶液未降解,并在使用后确认使用了全部药量。
有利地,回缩组件16可以保持双面针头在其中密封。因此,回缩组件16可以最后被无菌处理,并独立于药筒14被保持在无菌状态。一旦注射器10被组装,药筒14在注射组件12和回缩组件16之间是密封的。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,可以以最终灭菌的成套元件(未示出)以未装配的状态提供注射器10供装配和使用。这里,所述成套元件可以包括注射组件12和回缩组件16。在一些实施方案中,所述成套元件可以包括药筒14,但是在其他的情况中,药筒可以被单独出售。另外,所述成套元件也可以包括一个或多个注射位点清洁棉签,例如,预先包装的酒精棉签。例如,注射组件12,回缩组件16,和清洁棉签可以放在一密封包装内,例如塑料或无纺材料(TYVEC)包装。在一些实施方案中,所述包装最后可以被无菌处理。
下面参照图9和图10,示出了根据本发明的注射器10的一个可选择的示范性实施方案。注射器10包括注射组件12,药筒14,和回缩组件16。这里,注射组件12与图1至图8中上文描述的相同。
在该实施方案中,药筒14包括药瓶54和可移动的活塞56,以及与其一体成型的单尖针72。这里,可以在使用时或组装注射器10之前将药筒14填充药物。
筒14可以被插入回缩组件16中,以使得针72朝向注射端18,并且活塞56朝向启动端20。一旦筒被安装入回缩组件16中,回缩组件和注射组件12可被操作性地相互固定。在组装状态下,注射组件12和回缩组件16优选地保持筒14在其间的密封。
如图10所示,回缩组件16包括回缩弹簧70,端帽76,下密封件78,弹簧固定器85,和管状部分86。在启动注射器10之前,回缩弹簧70在弹簧固定器85和端帽76之间部分偏置。在部分偏置的状态下,回缩弹簧70以与注射方向48相反的方向推动弹簧固定器85以保持弹簧固定器紧接着表面80。以这种方式,弹簧固定器85使回缩弹簧70以所需的位置保持在端帽76内,并在与注射组件12组装前阻止回缩弹簧从回缩组件16中脱出。
另外,弹簧固定器85可以包括针引导通道87。通道87确保药筒14的针72正确地插入至回缩组件16内。弹簧固定器85也可以包括缓冲器89以吸收和抵消启动中的影响。
有利地,可以以最终灭菌的成套元件(未示出)以未装配的状态提供根据本发明的注射器10供装配和使用。这里,所述成套元件可以包括注射组件12,药筒14(图2或图9),和回缩组件16(图8或图10)。因此,通过简单地将药筒14置于回缩组件中,并将注射组件固定至回缩组件,所述成套元件允许使用者或医疗提供者预备使用注射器10。在一些实施方案中,所述成套元件可以包括一个或多个注射位点清洁棉签,例如预先包装的酒精棉签或其它注射附件例如胶粘绷带。
下面参照图11和图12,示出注射组件12的另一个示范性的实施方案。同样,以注射组件12与回缩组件各自独立,通过使用者或医疗提供者进行组装的方式供应注射器10。注射组件12可有利地包括安全元件110,以在组装前避免注射弹簧22将活塞24从注射组件中弹出。
安全元件110使活塞24的一部分具有比注射弹簧22的内径更小的外部尺寸,但是仍然大于分离器28的内部尺寸。因此,如果在与回缩组件16进行最后组装之前启动组件,安全元件110阻止活塞24从注射组件12脱落,同时允许活塞24通过注射弹簧22适当运动。
在图11和12中所描述的实施方案中,安全元件110被描述为环形,其可操作地环绕活塞24的圆周连接。当然,根据本发明设计的安全元件110具有其它非环形的形状,其仅从活塞24圆周的一部分在其插入联结器30和尖齿40之间的位置延伸出。另外,作为一可选择的优选实施方案,安全元件110可被设计成活塞24的一体成型元件。
下面参照图13到15,显示了根据本发明的活塞的一个示范性实施方案。如上所讨论的,活塞24包括锁定端36和驱动端38。锁定端36包括叉形尖齿40,所述尖齿40向外弹性偏置以使锁定表面44与加强包装(power pack)组件12的俘获器42(图4)接合。在该位置,活塞24保持注射弹簧22以压缩或压迫的状态。同样,锁定端36含有充分的弹性,以确保即使有注射弹簧22的作用力,叉形尖齿40保持向外偏置的位置。另外,锁定端36含有充分的结构硬度,以确保即使有注射弹簧22的作用力,锁定表面44保持与俘获器42接合。
本发明已经确定,与所有金属活塞相比,如图13至15所示的复合活塞提供弹性和结构硬度性能,也降低了成本和生产周期。所示的复合活塞包括金属锁定端36和塑料驱动端38。
在生产中,根据通常的冲压操作由扁平供应材料制造金属锁定端36。接着,金属锁定端36可以弯曲以限定尖齿40。一旦完成金属锁定端36,金属锁定端可被插入塑造在塑料驱动端38中以构成复合活塞24。在一个优选的实施方案中,塑造的塑料驱动端38可以包括与其一体成型的安全元件110。
下面参照图16,显示了处于已组装状态的注射器10的一个可选择的示范形实施方案。同样,注射器10包括可以由使用者或医疗提供者(例如,药剂师、医生、护士)组装的注射组件12,药筒14,和回缩组件16。注射器10特别适合进行肌肉注射。
出于简洁目的,药筒14和回缩组件16基本如同根据图1、2和5到8的描述。另外,注射器10的组装基本如同上文根据图2的描述。
但是,参照图17至图20对图16的注射组件12的操作进行描述。
注射组件12包括注射弹簧22,活塞24,启动钮26,和联结器30。注射弹簧22绕活塞24设置并由联结器30与活塞驱动地接合。
启动钮26具有上端32和下端34。通过握住启动钮26和对着注射位点按压注射端18而启动注射器10的注射组件12。对着注射位点按压注射端18同时握住启动钮26使启动钮被压迫,因此启动注射器10。
在一些实施方案中,启动钮26包括外罩108以帮助使用者握住启动钮。在一优选的实施方案中,外罩108可以包括若干个纵向的肋状体109以帮助使用者握住启动钮26。以这种方式,注射组件12特别适合于在使用者缺乏通常的手部灵活性的情况下使用,例如可以是使用者套着保护性手套的情况。在另外的实施方案中,外罩108和/或纵向肋状体109可以由弹性材料形成以进一步帮助使用者握住注射组件12。
在其它实施方案中,外罩108和注射组件12可以包括一个或多个配合的导引装置(cooperating guides)(未示出),所述导引装置只在启动装置旋转到预定位置之后才允许按压启动钮26。总之,外罩108和注射组件12可以一起作用以要求顺序进行的在两个方向上的运动,旋转和按压,以启动注射组件22。这里,纵向的肋状体109也可以帮助使用者旋转。
上端32从注射组件12中向外伸出。下端34向内伸出并被设置成选择性地分离活塞24和俘获器42以使注射弹簧22驱动活塞24。在所示的实施方案中,活塞24包括锁定端36和驱动端38。锁定端36包括两个或更多个尖齿40,所述尖齿40向外弹性偏置以使尖齿之间彼此远离。驱动端38被设置成作用于药筒14,如下文的详细描述。
注射组件12包括俘获器42,当尖齿40彼此偏置时,所述俘获器42接合尖齿40的锁定表面42。启动钮26包括限定在下端34的释放表面46。在保持注射端18对着注射位点的同时,以方向48施加于启动钮26的上端32的作用力引起释放表面46相对地压迫叉形尖齿40,以使锁定表面44从俘获器42脱离。
在启动前,保持注射弹簧22在联结器30和俘获器42之间以正常的偏置或压迫状态。一旦尖齿40从俘获器42释放,弹簧22中储存的能量以注射方向48推动活塞24。
联结器30是向外偏置的弹性元件,并具体参照图19和20进行描述。在组装中,联结器30朝向活塞24被向内压缩直至联结器内部设置的凸起特征(male feature)接合活塞相对应的凹入特征(femalefeature)。在活塞24的行程中,联结器30保持注射弹簧22和活塞24之间的驱动接合。
具体地,如图19所示,注射组件12包括具有第一内径112的通道120,所述通道120保持足够的径向约束力以保持联结器30处于压迫位置上并与活塞24接合。通道120在活塞24行程的末端具有分离器(escapement)114。注射弹簧22以注射方向48驱动活塞24直至联结器30到达分离器114。如图20所示,联结器30的弹性使联结器扩大进入分离器114并与活塞24分离。联结器30与活塞24的分离使活塞摆脱了注射弹簧22的作用力,因此允许活塞通过回缩组件16以回缩方向50运动。
注射和回缩组件12、16以搭扣配合的方式相互固定。例如,注射组件12可以包括一个或多个向外依靠的突出体62,所述突出体62由限定在回缩组件16中的相应数量的开口64接纳。在装配状态,通过例如密封件66,注射组件12和回缩组件16保持筒14在其中密封。
应当注意的是,术语“第一”,“第二”,“第三”,“上”,“下”,以及类似术语可以在本文用于修饰不同的元件。除非特别指明,这些修饰语不意指这些被修饰元件的空间、顺序或等级顺序。
在根据一个或多个示范性实施方案描述本发明的同时,本领域技术人员将会懂得可以采用不同的变化,以及对其元件进行等同物替换而不脱离本发明的范围。另外,可以根据本发明的教导进行许多改变以适应具体情况或材料而不脱离本发明的范围。因此意味着本发明不限于作为最佳设计模式公开的具体实施方案,但是本发明将包括落入所附权利要求范围内的所有实施方案。

Claims (25)

1.一种注射和回缩注射器,所述注射器包括:
药筒;
注射组件;以及
与所述注射组件选择性固定以在其中容纳所述药筒的回缩组件,所述回缩组件包括:
端帽,
具有针头接口的皮下针,
回缩弹簧,所述回缩弹簧位于所述针头接口和所述端帽之间,并在其之间被保持部分压缩的状态,以及
上密封件,处于所述部分压缩状态的所述回缩弹簧推动所述上密封件紧靠所述回缩组件的正面密封面以形成第一密封。
2.根据权利要求1所述的注射器,所述注射器进一步包括下密封件,所述下密封件在所述上密封件和下密封件之间限定一密封容积,所述皮下针被设置于所述密封容积内。
3.根据权利要求2所述的注射器,其特征在于,所述密封容积是无菌的。
4.根据权利要求1所述的注射器,其特征在于,所述上密封件与所述回缩组件的径向密封面形成第二密封。
5.根据权利要求1所述的注射器,所述注射器进一步包括O-形环元件,当所述回缩组件固定至所述注射组件时,所述O-形环元件在所述回缩组件和所述注射组件之间形成第二密封。
6.根据权利要求1所述的注射器,其特征在于,所述注射组件包括一个或多个向外依靠的突出体,当所述回缩组件固定至所述注射组件时,所述突出体由限定在回缩组件中的相应数量的开口接纳。
7.一种注射和回缩注射器,所述注射器包括:
药筒;
注射组件;以及
与所述注射组件选择性固定以在其中容纳所述药筒的回缩组件,所述注射组件包括:
从正常的压缩状态中选择性地释放的注射弹簧,
与所述注射弹簧驱动地接合的活塞,以及
限定在所述活塞上的安全元件,在所述回缩组件与所述注射组件固定之前,如果所述注射弹簧从所述正常的压缩状态下释放,所述安全元件避免所述活塞从所述注射组件脱落;
其中,所述回缩组件包括:
端帽,
具有针头接口的皮下针,
回缩弹簧,所述回缩弹簧位于所述针头接口和所述端帽之间,并在其之间被保持部分压缩的状态,以及
上密封件,处于所述部分压缩状态的所述回缩弹簧推动所述上密封件紧靠所述回缩组件的正面密封面以形成第一密封。
8.根据权利要求7所述的注射器,其特征在于,所述安全元件被一体成型至所述活塞。
9.根据权利要求7所述的注射器,其特征在于,所述活塞包括用于从所述正常的压缩状态下选择性地释放所述注射弹簧的冲压的金属锁定端,和用于配合所述药筒的塑造的塑料驱动端。
10.根据权利要求7所述的注射器,所述注射器进一步包括将所述活塞驱动地接合至所述注射弹簧的联结器,以及用于使所述联结器变形以从所述注射弹簧选择性分离所述活塞的分离器,其中,所述安全元件包括所述活塞的一部分,所述活塞的一部分具有大于所述分离器内部尺寸的外部尺寸。
11.根据权利要求7所述的注射器,其特征在于,所述注射组件进一步包括一启动装置,一旦启动所述启动装置,所述启动装置用于从所述正常压缩状态下选择性地释放所述注射弹簧。
12.根据权利要求11所述的注射器,其特征在于,所述注射组件进一步包括外罩,所述外罩和所述注射组件一起作用以仅在所述启动装置旋转到预定位置后才允许启动所述启动装置。
13.根据权利要求12所述的注射器,其特征在于,所述外罩包括多个纵向的抓握肋状体。
14.根据权利要求13所述的注射器,其特征在于,所述外罩和/或所述多个纵向的抓握肋状体包括弹性材料。
15.根据权利要求7所述的注射器,所述注射器进一步包括下密封件,所述下密封件在所述上密封件和下密封件之间限定一密封容积,所述皮下针被设置于所述密封容积内。
16.一种注射成套元件,所述成套元件包括:
注射组件;以及
回缩组件,所述注射组件和回缩组件被选择性地彼此固定,
所述回缩组件包括:
端帽,
具有针头接口的皮下针,
回缩弹簧,所述回缩弹簧位于所述针头接口和所述端帽之间,并在其之间被保持部分压缩的状态,以及
上密封件,处于所述部分压缩状态的所述回缩弹簧推动所述上密封件紧靠所述回缩组件的正面密封面以形成第一密封。
17.根据权利要求16所述的注射成套元件,所述注射成套元件进一步包括当所述组件彼此固定时,容纳于所述注射组件和回缩组件中的药筒。
18.根据权利要求16所述的注射成套元件,所述注射成套元件进一步包括至少一个注射位点清洁棉签。
19.根据权利要求16所述的注射成套元件,所述注射成套元件进一步包括胶粘绷带。
20.根据权利要求16所述的注射成套元件,所述注射成套元件进一步包括下密封件,所述下密封件在所述上密封件和下密封件之间限定一密封容积,所述皮下针被设置于所述密封容积内。
21.根据权利要求20所述的注射成套元件,其特征在于,所述密封容积是无菌的。
22.根据权利要求16所述的注射成套元件,所述注射成套元件进一步包括含所述注射组件和回缩组件的包装。
23.根据权利要求22所述的注射成套元件,其特征在于,所述包装在最后被无菌处理。
24.根据权利要求16所述的注射成套元件,所述注射成套元件进一步包括O-形环元件,当所述回缩组件固定所述注射组件时,所述O-形环元件在所述回缩组件和所述注射组件之间形成第二密封。
25.根据权利要求16所述的注射成套元件,其特征在于,所述注射组件包括:
从正常的压缩状态下选择性地释放的注射弹簧;
与所述注射弹簧驱动地接合的活塞;以及
限定在所述活塞上的安全元件,在所述回缩组件与所述注射组件固定之前,如果所述注射弹簧从所述正常的压缩状态下释放,所述安全元件避免所述活塞从所述注射组件脱落。
