Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及用于将电缆连接到移动电子设备的连接器,具体地说,涉及可释放的连接器。
背景技术
诸如移动电话之类的移动电子设备,通常配备有多个使移动电话可以与电池充电器的电缆、耳机的电缆或将移动电话连接到个人计算机上的电缆连接的连接器。通常,有几个间隔很小的分开的连接器设置在电话的一个区域上。为了使移动设备维持所需的小间隔增大了用户错误地将电缆连接到电话的不正确连接器上的可能性。此外,许多当前用于移动电话的连接器类似于插孔或插头,形成电话上的会聚集灰尘和脏物的开口。在大部分所用的连接器类型中,连接器部件之间的啮合由锁扣连接保证。在其他类型的连接器中,连接器部件之间的啮合由摩擦作用保证。对于所有这些啮合保证措施来说共同的是,在电缆被拉动时由于轻的移动设备将会跟随电缆因此啮合不会拆开。例如,在用户将他的电话放在桌上后戴着他的耳机走开时,将会使电话被拖离桌子,从而可能会从桌上掉下受到冲击而损坏。
发明内容
在此背景下,本发明的目的是提供一种用于将电缆连接到移动电子设备的连接器,这种连接器可以克服或至少减少与上面所说明的传统连接器关联的缺点。
这个目的是通过提供一种用于电和机械地将电缆连接到移动电子设备的连接器来达到的,这种连接器包括一个设置在电缆端部的第一连接器部件和一个设置在移动电子设备上的第二连接器部件,第一和/或第二连接器部件包括一个被磁力吸附到设置在另一个连接器上的磁性材料的磁体,使得在磁体与磁性材料之间或者在两个磁体之间生成的磁力可以被用来使第一连接器和第二连接器相互啮合,从而在电缆与移动电子设备之间建立电连接。
这种以磁性建立的机械连接可以用相对小的力分开,从而保证移动电子设备在电缆受拉动时不会被拖动。因此,在用户忘记将他的耳机或他的电池充电器脱离接触而走开时,相应的电缆与移动电子设备之间的连接就会被拆开,从而移动电子设备不会被拖离它的位置,或者不会有过大的力施加到电缆和电子设备上。
连接器可以构造成使得电连接由磁体接触到磁性材料而建立。因此,不需要接触件,因为磁体本身就用作接触件。
第二连接器部件可以包括一个磁激活的开关,该磁激活的开关在第一连接器部件连接到第二连接器部件上时处在一个位置,并且在第一连接器部件没有连接到第二连接器部件上时处在另一个位置。优选的是,电子设备与电缆之间的电连接只能在第一连接器部件连接到第二连接器部件上时磁激活开关所处的位置建立。
第二连接器部件还可以连接到一个第三连接器部件上,其中第二和/或第三连接器部件包括一个磁吸附到设置在另一个连接器部件上的磁性材料的磁体。
优选的是,在第二连接器部件连接到第一连接器部件上时建立一个第一电通路,并且其中在第二连接器部件连接到第三连接器部件上时建立一个与第一电通路不同的第二电通路。该不同的通路可以由连接到第二连接器部件上的磁开关建立,并且磁开关在第一连接器部件连接到第二连接器部件上时处在第一位置而在第二连接器部件连接到第三连接器部件上时处在第二位置。
本发明的另一个目的是提供一种包括上面所说明的类型的第一连接器的移动电子设备。
该移动电子设备可以包括上面所说明的类型的第二连接器。在此情况下,磁体的极性设置使得第一连接器的第一连接器部件被第二连接器的第二连接器部件排斥。优选的是,磁体的极性设置还使得第二连接器的第一连接器部件被第一连接器的第二连接器部件排斥。
从以下详细的说明中,按照本发明的连接器和移动充电设备的其他目的、特征、优点和属性将变得显而易见。

具体实施方式
在下面的详细说明中,以移动电话的形式来说明按照本发明的连接器和移动电子设备。
图1和图2例示了具有机壳2、显示器3和小键盘7的移动电话1。所例示的这种移动电话1在该技术领域内是众所周知的,因此它的操作和电子器件在这里就不再详细说明。
连接器部件30设置在移动电话1的底部。处在电缆50端部的连接器部件40设置在连接器部件30附近。电缆50可以是连接到电池充电器(未示出)上的电缆、连接到耳机(未示出)上的电缆或连接到个人计算机(未示出)上的电缆。连接器40还可以设置在可用来与移动电子设备连接的其他电缆的端部。
连接器部件30和连接器部件40相互磁吸引,这在图1中用磁力线示意性示出。
图3示出了移动电话1与电缆50利用连接器部件30与连接器部件40磁啮合而连接在一起的情况。在啮合位置的磁引力使电缆50不需要对移动电话1施加多大的力就可以很容易从移动电话1上被取下。
图4和图5说明了按照本发明的第一优选实施例的连接器。连接器部件40包括(永磁性)环形磁体44和同心地定位在环形磁体44内的(永磁性)杆形磁体42。杆形磁体42可以具有圆柱形的形状,因此可以称为棒磁体。一根电线43连接到杆磁体42上,而另一根电线45连接到环形磁体44上。在连接到连接器部件40的电缆50是充电电缆的情况下,其中一根电线将连接到负端子,而另一根电线将连接到正端子。环形磁体44的北磁极设置在连接器部件40的接触侧,而杆磁体43的南磁极设置在连接器部件40的接触侧。
连接器部件40与连接器部件30是互补的。
连接器部件30包括用诸如含铁材料之类的磁性材料制成的环34和同心设置在环形磁体34内部的永磁性杆磁体32。杆磁体32由空心的圆柱形衬套36固定就位于环形磁体内部。杆磁体32的北磁极朝向连接器部件30的接触侧。连接器部件30还包括由磁性材料制成的弹性悬挂的接触环37。接触环37由轻型弹簧61推离环34。
可移动环形磁体37在连接器部件40没有与连接器部件30啮合之处在不与环34接触的位置。电线33连接到杆磁体32上,并且电线35连接到环接触件37上。
连接器部件40的磁性产生对连接器部件30内的磁性材料的引力。在连接器部件30与40啮合时,杆磁体43与杆磁体32接触,并且在电线43与电线33之间建立电连接。同时,环形磁体44与环34接触。在这种情况下,环34变得被磁化,因此在环34与环接触件37之间产生磁引力,强到足以推动环接触件37克服弹簧61的弹力而与环34接触,从而在电线45与电线35之间建立电连接。
在本实施例的一个变形中,电线43和45可以连接到电池充电器(未示出)上,而电线33和35与移动电话1的电气器件(未示出)和电池连接。
按照图4和图5的实施例的一个未示出的可供选择的方案,电连接通过专用的电极建立。通过专用电极的电连接可以是除了通过磁体建立的电连接之外的电连接,或者通过专用电极的电连接可以是由于连接器部件相互啮合而建立的仅有电连接。
图6示出了本发明的第二实施例,其中移动电子设备1配备有两个连接器部件。连接器部件30a包括永磁性杆磁体32b,定向为它的南磁极朝向它的接触面33a。连接器部件30b包括永磁性杆磁体32b,定向为它的北磁极朝向它的接触面33b。接触面33a和33b配备有与导向移动电子设备1内部的电子器件的电线(未示出)连接的电接触件(未示出)。
一根电缆50a的端部配备有连接器部件40a。另一根电缆50b的端部配备有连接器部件40b。电缆50a和50b是具有不同功能的不同电缆,例如充电电缆50a和用于将移动电子设备1连接到个人计算机的电缆50b。
连接器部件40a包括杆磁体42a,定向为它的北磁极朝向它的接触面43a。连接器部件40b包括杆磁体42b,定向为它的南磁极朝向它的接触面43b。
接触面43a和43c上配备有与相应电缆50a和50b内的电线(未示出)连接的电接触件(未示出)。
由于这种极性安排,连接器部件40b是被连接器部件30a排斥的,而连接器部件40a是被连接器部件30b排斥的。因此,将连接器部件40a和40b放置在移动电子设备1上的错误的对应部分实际上是不可能的。在将连接器部件40a或40b靠近正确的对应部分30a或30b时,永磁性杆磁体之间的磁引力将使相应的连接器保持啮合。
图7和图8示出了按照本发明的连接器的第四实施例。这种连接器包括例如设置在移动电子设备1内的连接器部件130和例如与各自电缆(未示出)连接的连接器部件140a和140b。
连接器部件140a包括设置在连接器部件140a内的平板磁体142a,它的南磁极朝向连接器140a的接触侧。连接器140a包括三个同心设置的电接触件143、144和145,它们由绝缘衬套隔离。电接触件145设置在连接器正面形成的中央圆柱形凹口的底部。这个凹口用来容纳由从连接器部件130的接触面凸出的电接触件135形成的圆柱形凸台。电接触件143、144和145与连接到连接器部件140的电缆内的引线(未示出)连接。
连接器部件130配备有同心环接触件133、134和135。接触件133、134和135用磁性材料制成,因此受到平板磁体142a磁性的接触件143、144和145被磁力吸引到电接触件133、134和135上,从而使连接器部件140a和130保持啮合。电接触件133、134和135通过相应引线与磁操作的开关131连接。
可滑动永久磁体139设置在磁操作的开关131内部,它的南磁极朝向连接器部件130的接触面。可滑动永久磁体139配备有三个纵向隔开的电接触件136、137和138。在连接器部件140a处于与连接器部件130啮合时,在其南磁极彼此面对的平板磁体142与可滑动永久磁体139之间的磁斥力使可滑动永久磁体139被推离连接器部件140a。因此,可滑动永久磁体139呈现为处在图7中所示的“较低”位置,从而在电接触件133、134、135与将连接器部件130连接到移动电子设备1的电子器件上的引线132之间建立第一电通路。
连接器部件140b(图8)基本上与连接器部件140a相同,然而连接器部件140b内的平板磁体142b设置在连接器部件140b内,它的北磁极朝向连接器部件140b的接触侧。
因此,在连接器部件140b与连接器部件130啮合时(图8),平板磁体142b与可滑动永久磁体139之间的磁吸引力迫使可滑动永久磁体139朝连接器142b移动。因此,可滑动永久磁体139呈现为处在图8中所示的“较高”位置,从而在电接触件133、134、135与将连接器部件130连接到移动电子设备1的电子器件上的引线132之间建立第二电通路。
在移动电子设备1和与移动电子设备1内的连接器部件啮合的外连接器部件之间建立的这种类型的电连接是受外连接器部件的磁特性控制的。因此,视觉和机械上完全相同的外连接器部件可以建立不同的电连接。这样,就有可能在需连接到移动电子设备上的不同的电缆上使用机械和视觉上相同的连接器部件。连接器部件140a例如可以设置在电池充电器的电缆的端部,而连接器部件140b可以例如设置在将移动电子设备连接到个人计算机上的电缆的端部。在这两个连接器部件之间的磁性差别保证了与移动电子设备1的电子器件的正确连接。这种构思有助于移动电子设备的使用,因为用户可以在移动电子设备1上的同一个连接器部件上放置不同电缆的连接器部件,并且因此不需要正确的选择在移动电子设备1上的什么地方放置连接到电缆上的连接器部件。此外,移动电子设备上只有单个连接器部件具有在移动电子设备上占用较小的空间的优点。
虽然按照以上所公开的实施例的连接器示为旋转对称的(具有圆形的剖面),但应该理解的是,这些连接器不一定要是旋转对称的,可以具有任何其他适当形状的剖面,例如矩形或三角形的。
在权利要求书中所用的术语“包括”并不是排除其他元件或步骤。在权利要求书中所使用的术语“一个”并不排除多个。在权利要求书中所使用的参考标号不应该视为对范围的限制。

Claims (13)
1.一种用于电和机械地将电缆连接到移动电子设备的连接器,该连接器包括一个设置在该电缆端部的第一连接器部件和一个设置在该移动电子设备上的第二连接器部件,所述第一和/或所述第二连接器部件包括一个被磁力吸附到设置在所述第一或所述第二连接器部件中的另一个连接器部件上的磁性材料的磁体,使得在该磁体与该磁性材料之间或者在该两个磁体之间生成的该磁力可以被用来使该第一连接器部件和该第二连接器部件相互啮合,从而在该电缆与该移动电子设备之间建立电连接,其中该电连接由该磁体接触到该磁性材料上而建立。
2.按照权利要求1所述的连接器,其中该第二连接器部件包括一个磁激活的开关,该磁激活的开关在该第一连接器部件连接到该第二连接器部件上时处在一个位置,并且在该第一连接器部件没有连接到该第二连接器部件上时处在另一个位置。
3.按照权利要求2所述的连接器,其中该电子设备与该电缆之间的电连接只能建立在当该第一连接器部件连接到该第二连接器部件上时该磁激活的开关所处的位置。
4.按照权利要求1所述的连接器,其中所述第二连接器部件可以连接到一个第三连接器部件,其中所述第二和/或所述第三连接器部件包括一个磁吸附到设置在另一个连接器部件上的磁性材料的磁体。
5.按照权利要求4所述的连接器,其中当所述第二连接器部件连接到所述第一连接器部件上时建立一个第一电通路,并且其中当所述第二连接器部件连接到所述第三连接器部件上时建立一个与该第一电通路不同的第二电通路。
6.按照权利要求5所述的连接器,其中所述不同的通路由连接到所述第二连接器部件的磁开关建立,并且所述磁开关在所述第一连接器部件连接到所述第二连接器部件上时处在该第一位置而所述磁开关在所述第二连接器部件连接到所述第三连接器部件上时处在第二位置。
7.一种移动电子设备,包括按照权利要求1所述的连接器的第一连接器。
8.按照权利要求7所述的移动电子设备,包括第二连接器,其中该第一连接器的该第一连接器部件被该第二连接器的第二连接器部件排斥。
9.按照权利要求8所述的移动电子设备,其中该第二连接器的该第一连接器部件被该第一连接器的该第二连接器部件排斥。
10.按照权利要求7所述的移动电子设备,其中所述移动电子设备是移动电话。
11.按照权利要求7所述的移动电子设备,其中所述移动电子设备是电池充电器。
12.按照权利要求11所述的移动电子设备,还包括另一个电缆,其中该电缆的一端连接到所述充电器而所述电缆的另一端连接到所述第一或第二连接器部件。
13.一种电缆,包括按照权利要求1所述的连接器的第一连接器和/或第二连接器。
