Abstract

In order to produce a cleaning device for cleaning a workpiece (104) comprising a suction apparatus (100) for sucking out impurities from an interior of the work piece wherein the suction apparatus has a particularly large suction effect, it is proposed that the suction apparatus at least one vacuum tank (106), at least one evacuation device (128) for evacuating the vacuum tank, at least one ventilation line (108) for connecting the vacuum tank to the workpiece and at least one blocking device (110) for blocking off the connection between the vacuum tank and the workpiece.

Claims (46)

1. A cleaning device for cleaning a workpiece (104) comprising a suction apparatus (100) for sucking out impurities from an interior (102) of the workpiece (104), characterized in that the suction apparatus (100) comprises at least one vacuum tank (106), at least one evacuation device (128) for evacuating the vacuum tank (106), at least one ventilation line (108) for connecting the vacuum tank (106) to the workpiece (104) and at least one blocking device (110) for blocking off the connection between the vacuum tank (106) and the workpiece (104).
2. A cleaning device in accordance with Claim 1, characterized in that the vacuum tank (106) can be evacuated to a pressure of at most approximately 100 mbar, preferably of at most approximately 50 mbar.
3. A cleaning device in accordance with either of the Claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the blocking device (110) can be opened abruptly.
4. A cleaning device in accordance with any of the Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the blocking device (110) can be fully opened within a period of at most approximately 2 seconds, and preferably of at most approximately 0.5 seconds.

A cleaning device in accordance with any of the Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the vacuum tank (106) is adapted to be ventilated within an opening time of the blocking device (110) of at most approximately 2 seconds in such a manner that its internal pressure amounts to at least 90 % of the external pressure.
6. A cleaning device in accordance with any of the Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the workpiece (104) comprises at least one cavity (118) which opens out at at least one point (116) on the exterior of the workpiece (104).
7. A cleaning device in accordance with any of the Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the suction apparatus (100) comprises a plurality of ventilation lines (108, 108') which can be arranged at different positions (116, 116') on the exterior of the workpiece (104) at the same time.
8. A cleaning device in accordance with Claim 7, characterized in that at least two of the ventilation lines (108, 108') are adapted to be blocked separately by means of at least two mutually different blocking devices (110, 110').
9. A cleaning device in accordance with Claim 8, characterized in that the at least two blocking devices (110, 110') can be opened at the same time.
10. A cleaning device in accordance with either of the Claims 8 or 9, characterized in that the at least two blocking devices (110, 110') can be opened successively.

A cleaning device in accordance with any of the Claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the suction apparatus (100) comprises at least two vacuum tanks (106, 106') and, for each of the vacuum tanks (106, 106'), at least one ventilation line (108, 108') for connecting the vacuum tank (106, 106') to the workpiece (104) and at least one blocking device (110, 110') for blocking off the connection between the respective vacuum tank (106, 106') and the workpiece (104).
12. A cleaning device in accordance with Claim 11, characterized in that the cleaning device (152) comprises at least one evacuation device (128) by means of which at least two vacuum tanks (106, 106') of the suction apparatus (100) can be evacuated.

A cleaning device in accordance with any of the Claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the evacuation device (128) comprises at least one vacuum pump (126), at least one suction line (120) for connecting the vacuum pump (126) to at least one vacuum tank (106) and at least one blocking device (122) for blocking off the connection between the vacuum pump (126) and the vacuum tank (106).
14. A cleaning device in accordance with any of the Claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the suction apparatus (100) comprises at least one separating device (132) for separating impurities from an air stream which flows from the workpiece (104) to the vacuum tank (106).
15. A cleaning device in accordance with Claim 14, characterized in that the at least one separating device (132) comprises a gravity separator (134).
16. A cleaning device in accordance with either of the Claims 14 or 15, characterized in that the at least one separating device (132) comprises a filter element (160).
17. A cleaning device in accordance with any of the Claims 14 to 16, characterized in that the suction apparatus (100) comprises an extraction device (144) by means of which separated impurities are removable from the separating device (132).
18. A cleaning device in accordance with any of the Claims 14 to 17, characterized in that the separating device (132) is provided downstream of the blocking device (110).
19. A cleaning device in accordance with any of the Claims 14 to 17, characterized in that the separating device (132) is provided upstream of the blocking device (110).
20. A cleaning device in accordance with any of the Claims 14 to 18, characterized in that the separating device (132) is arranged within the vacuum tank (106).
21. A cleaning device in accordance with any of the Claims 14 to 19, characterized in that the separating device (132) is arranged between the workpiece (104) and the vacuum tank (106).
22. A cleaning device in accordance with any of the Claims 1 to 21, characterized in that the vacuum tank (106) is in the form of a vacuum chamber (154) into which a workpiece (104') can be placed.
23. A cleaning device in accordance with Claim 22, characterized in that the vacuum tank (106) is in the form of a vacuum drying chamber (154).
24. A method for cleaning a workpiece (104), comprising the following processing steps:

- connecting a vacuum tank (106) to the workpiece (104) by means of a ventilation line (108) in which a blocking device (110) is arranged for blocking off the connection between the vacuum tank (106) and the workpiece (104);

- evacuating the vacuum tank (106) by means of an evacuation device (128);

- ventilating the vacuum tank (106) by opening the blocking device (110) whereby impurities are sucked out from an interior (102) of the workpiece (104).
25. A method in accordance with Claim 24, characterized in that the vacuum tank (106) is evacuated to a pressure of at most approximately 100 mbar, preferably of at most approximately 50 mbar.
26. A method in accordance with either of the Claims 24 or 25, characterized in that the blocking device (110) is opened abruptly.
27. A method in accordance with any of the Claims 24 to 26, characterized in that the blocking device (110) is fully opened within a period of at most approximately 2 seconds, preferably of at most approximately 0.5 seconds.
28. A method in accordance with any of the Claims 24 to 27, characterized in that the vacuum tank (106) is ventilated within an opening time of the blocking device (110) of at most approximately 2 seconds in such a manner that its internal pressure amounts to at least 90 % of the external pressure.
29. A method in accordance with any of the Claims 24 to 28, characterized in that the workpiece (104) comprises at least one cavity (118) which opens out at at least one point (116) on an exterior of the workpiece (104).
30. A method in accordance with any of the Claims 24 to 29, characterized in that a plurality of ventilation lines (108, 108') are arranged at different points (116, 116') on the exterior of the workpiece (104) at the same time.
31. A method in accordance with Claim 30, characterized in that at least two of the ventilation lines (108, 108') are separately closed by means of at least two mutually different blocking devices (110, 110').
32. A method in accordance with Claim 31, characterized in that the at least two blocking devices (110, 110') are opened at the same time.
33. A method in accordance with Claim 31, characterized in that the at least two blocking devices (110, 110') are opened successively.
34. A method in accordance with any of the Claims 24 to 33, characterized in that at least two vacuum tanks (106, 106') are connected to the workpiece (104) by at least one respective ventilation line (108, 108') in which at least one respective blocking device (110, 110') for blocking off the connection between the respective vacuum tank (106, 106') and the workpiece (104) is arranged.
35. A method in accordance with Claim 34, characterized in that at least two vacuum tanks (106, 106') are evacuated by means of the same evacuation device (128).
36. A method in accordance with any of the Claims 24 to 35, characterized in that the evacuation device (128) comprises at least one vacuum pump (126), at least one suction line (120) for connecting the vacuum pump (126) to at least one vacuum tank (106) and at least one blocking device (122) for blocking off the connection between the vacuum pump (126) and the vacuum tank (106).
37. A method in accordance with any of the Claims 24 to 36, characterized in that impurities are separated out from an air stream which flows from the workpiece (104) to the vacuum tank (106) by means of a separating device (132).
38. A method in accordance with Claim 37, characterized in that the impurities are separated from the air stream by means of a gravity separator (134).
39. A method in accordance with either of the Claims 37 or 38, characterized in that impurities are separated from the air stream by means of a filter element (160).
40. A method in accordance with any of the Claims 37 to 39, characterized in that separated impurities are removed from the separating device (132) by means of an extraction device (144).
41. A method in accordance with any of the Claims 37 to 40, characterized in that the impurities are separated downstream of the blocking device (110).
42. A method in accordance with any of the Claims 24 to 41, characterized in that the impurities are separated upstream of the blocking device (110).
43. A method in accordance with any of the Claims 24 to 42, characterized in that the impurities are separated within the vacuum tank (106).
44. A method in accordance with any of the Claims 24 to 42, characterized in that the impurities are separated externally of the vacuum tank (106).
45. A method in accordance with any of the Claims 24 to 44, characterized in that a workpiece (104') is brought into the vacuum tank (106).
46. A method in accordance with Claim 45, characterized in that the workpiece placed in the vacuum tank (106) is subjected to a vacuum drying process.
