Abstract
An inlet (12) of a portable waterproof carrying case (4) of a programmably controlled water sampling apparatus (2) includes a pre-treatment filter unit (14), Case (4) includes clasps (6, 8) and a handle (10). A pump (18) is connected by tubing (16) to male and female lockable fitting containing and filter membrane replacement allowing filter unit (14) and by tubing (20) to three way electrically controlled valve (22). Valve (22) is in fluid communication with backflush serving liquid container (32) via tubing (28). Valve (22) also communicates through tubing (30) with solid phase analyte extraction device (34) which discharges through tubing (35). Battery (36) is connected to electronics (38) via elements (42, 44) while electric pump motor (40) is connected to electronics (38) via elements (45, 46).
