Abstract

A method of and electrical connector for positioning wires in a slot of a bifurcated insulation displacement contact are described. The wires are positioned in the slot alternatively disposed with respect to the side-to-side direction ("A") of the slot. As between the or each successive pair of wires in the slot, the angle made between the wires of the pair is greater than that made by one of the wires with respect to the side-to-side direction of the slot.
