Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de visioconférence entre participants localisés sur des sites distants, comprenant sur chaque site un écran de visualisation. Selon l'invention, l'écran de visualisation est un grand écran (10) du type écran de projection ou de rétroprojection ou de type à vision directe, formé par un ou plusieurs systèmes de visualisation formant un mur d'images pour visualiser simultanément tous les participants distants dans un espace reconstitué sur le mur d'images que forme cet écran (10), et le système comprend pour chaque site donné des moyens de répartition spatiale du son (100A, 100K, Hi, Mj) pour établir une correspondance entre le son généré par chaque participant distant et son image visualisée sur l'écran du site considéré.
