Abstract

Improved methods of detecting and/or treating lesions in a patient are provided, wherein a conjugate of biotin or avidin and a targeting protein, and an avidin or biotin conjugate of a chelated metal detection or treatment agent, are used, with amplification, to detect or treat a targeted lesion.
