Abstract

A chair back for a wire rod type stacking office chair is in the form of an assembly including a mounting pan fixed between right and left side shoulder forming loops of the chair, an inner opaque back member, and an outer opaque back member, the back members are secured to the mounting pan on opposite sides thereof and in encapsulating relation thereto. Securement is by concealed interfitting devices. The exposed surfaces of the chair back may be upholstered at the option of the chair assembler.
