Thought it was just me that couldn't get a new puzzle. Is this APP neglect the beginning of iIGoogle's demise? Some of my other gadgets (some newsfeeds) & my much loved AbeBowman graphics like the Koi fish, turtles and Hamster) aren't always visible either, but sometimes I can get them back later. I love iGoogle and it's apps, and will so miss it when it's gone. I keep praying for a reconsideration, but wonder if this is really just the beginning.

I can't get rid of the puzzle that has been around since December. I thought it was updated weekly. Am about to lose this app.

I love this app ... I look forward each week to doing a new crossword. Unfortunately, I've been waiting for over 5 weeks for a new crossword. Seriously, what's the deal? This app needs to be turned over to someone who knows what they're doing.

I would like to continue solving the NY Times puzzle, however, it is not being updated each week. So, what's the problem?? Let us know so we can find an alternate puzzle!

I completed Crossword Oct 3, 2002 last week and submitted the answers. When Monday arrived, the Crossword didn't update. I deleted the gadget and reinstalled it, but I'm still stuck with the same puzzle for Oct 3, 2002, Can anyone help?

I am unable to fill in the squares -- it won't accept my typing. I deleted and reinstalled the gadget and still not able to fill in words.

LOVE doing the puzzle but this week it wont show me both the across and down columns making it almost impossible to work the puzzle VERY frustrating!

The problem has re-occured, similar to last fall. This time I can't display the puzzle by clicking on the gadget. Instead, it can be opened by clicking the menu bar on the left of using the open symbol in the upper right corner. Also, and more irritating is that the puzzle does not save, either if it is complete or partially so. It is not displaying the accumulated points either. I do have a friend who says it is working for him. Help!!

The New York Times crossword used to save filled-in answers. Now if you leave the crossword to, say, look at the news, when you come back to it, it is blank. All answers are gone. Also, if you're working on the puzzle for a while and Google decides to "refresh" the page, all the answers are wiped out. This bug makes the puzzle useless. Come on, Lab Pixies! You had it right before. What happened?

This is the same problem Summer Crabtree posted on 2/14/12: "Would you please make your gadget work so I can enjoy it during my workday? This week, it won't save any clues I've solved." This is the eMail I sent to the New York Times Crossword department telling them of problem: I've attempted to do the weekly crossword puzzle three, possibly four) times in as many days on my Google home page. Every time I had to leave it for any length of time, the puzzle goes back to a blank puzzle form. It would be nice if I could do the puzzle in one sitting, but I can't (try that when you have to care for an 88 year old mother who can't walk and who, just this morning threw up her breakfast- lift, move, bathe, redress, move back to her chair- and a half hour letter had a major booboo in her pants- lift, move, etc.). Here I am again at a blank form. I don't know whose problem it is- I suspect Google- but I'm frustrated and not just a bit ticked off. Please fix this. Nancy Palmer P.S. I have finally deleted this gadget. the response time is abysmally slow, both in IE and Firefox. Too bad, as I enjoy a good crossword. It's gotten worse with latest version of Firefox and consumes so much CPU in IE that I get alerts.

Why do you offer gadgets then not maintain them? Same is true for the bookmarks. Please do something about this issue?
