Worked fine, put in your stock symbol, the number of shares you own and the price you purchased them at and it monitors them. I inserted stocks and mutual funds using the edit function on the gadget

I have been trading GOOG for a while now. I got alerted well before the volume started to pick up and because of this I was able to score a nice profit a few times. Like its simplicity, but each time it comes up, the order of stocks that I've entered changes! That makes it unusable for copying and pasting into a spreadsheet that keeps track of my investments (the wrong prices keep getting entered for different stocks!) Please let it be standard fixed order! By the way, folks, whatever happened to iGoogle own stock market column entry?

I agree with the other comments, I should have read them first, lol. This does not work as advertised. I entered a stock and it does not appear. Thus far having looked at 3 stock portfolio aps for i-google, the yahoo stock portfolio is superior, TOO BAD Yahoo has decided to chase away its customers by degrading the functionality of the My Yahoo product to almost zero in order (I guess) to force customers into using their new yahoo toolbar. I was hoping i-google would be a good replacement, but if I can't find a stock portfolio app that will display all of my portfolio and show its total, then igoogle is not for me.

I have the same problem where my stocks are not displayed in my portfolio window. You can display them temporarily by clicking on the upper right side of the portfolio window, select edit settings and then select Save. Hopefully, a clean fix is coming soon.

I am looking for a simple gadget that shows symbol, price paid, current price, current value. Does anyone know of any gadgets that do that that actually work? MyYahoo used to have a good one until they redesigned and built in slow and stupid.

This gadget worked fine for about 6 months. Now I cannot access any of the daily stock quotes. It no longer displays the symbols. If you try and go into the edit portion, it will bring up a screen to modify or delete symbols, but when you save them, they are no longer displayed! Not a reliable program!!!
