Yo.Sup.STICKY NOTES are a good reminder for important things and if you have tried the gadget coundown, you might see that they're pretty much... well... THE EXACT SAME THING!(as long as you put the date.duh. :P)
don't understand the concept of "sticky notes." Who journals or keeps longterm, sensitive info on stick notes in the real world?? Their whole appeal is that they're cheap, convenient and disposable--perfect for quick and easy reminders, notes, etc. that can be thrown away when no longer applicable or transferred to more permanent solutions when time permits.
This is not a full note taking system. This is more like the real sticky notes. I wouldn't use this for long term saving of any notes or any long notes or journals. For that i would use Google Tasks for a to do list and Google Docs for a journal or long notes. For other types of notes I use Evernote. Anyone who thought this was for permanent notes, long notes, etc was incorrect.
Anybody (developer?) know the maximum buffer size of this gadget, in other words is it going to freeze up on me some day? I am using this gadget to keep a diary journal of my weight loss notes to myself, each day wondering if after such and such a length, so many lines of text, this gadget will freeze up or worse I would lose all my text notes?
How do you add more sticky notes in one single gadget?

I just clicked control "Z" to undo something I had typed and the entire pad swiped clean, after over a years worth of saved notes stored on it. Feel sick.
Same thing just happened to me - had a list of ideas from over 3 months or so on one sticky note and was adding a new one - hit the back key on my browser, and when I came back the latest entry was gone. Hit refresh and the whole list disappeared!!! Does the list exist in the ethernet out there anywhere?
I absolutely LOVED this gadget until today. I had a big to-do list typed on there and today it's all gone. Unfortunately that was the only place those lists were so now I'm lost. I'm very disappointed.
I have used this gadget for almost a year and have it running several times (usually 3 or 4 seperate Sticky note gadgets) on multiple desktops. I have never lost any information and have never had a problem with it that needed more than the page refreshed.
