Same thing just happened to me - had a list of ideas from over 3 months or so on one sticky note and was adding a new one - hit the back key on my browser, and when I came back the latest entry was gone. Hit refresh and the whole list disappeared!!! Does the list exist in the ethernet out there anywhere?
I absolutely LOVED this gadget until today. I had a big to-do list typed on there and today it's all gone. Unfortunately that was the only place those lists were so now I'm lost. I'm very disappointed.
I have used this gadget for almost a year and have it running several times (usually 3 or 4 seperate Sticky note gadgets) on multiple desktops. I have never lost any information and have never had a problem with it that needed more than the page refreshed.
I was happy with this for a long time, but recently discovered that if you hit ctrl-z (typically "undo") when there is nothing to undo, it blanks the whole field. Must Be Fixed!
I added this on 10-12-09 and it worked for a couple of days. I liked the very simple interface. BUT today I opened the computer and typed a revised note. Left the screen on, came back and it was gone. couldn't get it back. worse than no good! i've deleted it and recommend you don't rely on it for anything even mildly important.
This make me mad. The gadget erased all my notes. I will not use this gadget again

The best part of this gadget was the ability to share contents with other family members and we could all update the same list. However, this functionality seems to have stopped working and the "View my Content" option is no longer present when you try and share the gadget. Does anyone know if the ability to share your contents feature will be added back to the sticky note gadget?
Second time this year my Sticky Note has randomly erased itself. So frustrating. This thing needs a backup/recover/roll back 10 minutes feature. This was the last time, widget removed.
I've been used that widget for a couple months and I took many many notes. Today ALL OF THEM are disappear It deletes itself so I've a big lost. My advice is not to write important things in this widget one day all of them can be disappear.
I used to love this gadget. I used it for reminders and text that I have to copy and paste allot to client's emails. I just lost all of my notes. Very disturbing. Don't ever press cntrl-z (undo) in this gadget. Apparently the 1st time you press cntrl-z it will undo one item, then second cntrl-z wiped out all of my notes.

Hi - I >was< sharing this sticky gadget with edit and view with family membe It seems this has disappeared from other family igoogle page, and now when I try to share the igoogle sticky gadget, it only has an option to share my settings. There is no option to share for view and or edit the >contents< of my sticky gadget. The help page at http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2008/04/sharing-gadgets-just-got-better.html shows how it was working before, but this no longer seems to be working. There isn't an option to allow shared edit and view of my sticky. any help would be appreciated!
this note gave me lots of problems. It always brought up a confirmation box to leave the igoogle page. After I deleted it, it continued to do this, on two different computers...
