anybody have an updated list of viable indicies to include in this widget that actually work? I can't get any data to appear for any indicies. I'm giving it a few more tries then dumping this for another option. Any suggestions?

it would be nice to be able to arrange the order of the index display, instead of strictly alphabetical. i know that your setup is best for a list of stocks, but i like to see DJI at the top of the indecies, and not have to hunt for it.

Due to some restrictions by the Dow Jones Index, ^DJI is no longer supported.

One can use ^DJX or ^DXL to replace the malfunctioning ^DJI (1/100th and 1/10th of the Dow, respectively).

Great gadget, but not so great since it stopped showing the DJI. It seems that it is there for a brief second and then it is not showing in the final display. It would be great again it it would show this.

This stopped working several weeks ago. Once fixed, this is the best gadget for getting stock information.

Is there something wrong with ^DJI displaying? The widget accepts the ticker but won't show it, either on the graph or numerically. Is this a licensing issue with Dow Jones?

Looks like yahoo moved the dow listing above the graph, so now the gadget cant find the the value.

Hi, I've noticed that if I have 6-5 stocks in my tracking list, the gadget's length does not increase to display them all. Also, there is no scroll bar to use to scroll down and view the ones which are beyond the bottom edge of the viewport. Can you fix this? Very useful tool. Thanks!

Thanks for your comments and suggestions. For the first suggestion, stocks are already sorted according to the symbol name. For grouping, I do suggest adding another instance of the gadget which is easier to manage. For the second suggestion, the default graph can be updated through "Edit Setting" > "Default Symbol" dialog.

just a couple of suggestions: 1. sorting & grouping will be helpful for large lists of quotes (instead of creating multiple instances of the gadget). 2. the default graph is always the STI (even if it is not included in the list).

Data for this gadget is retrieved from Yahoo Finance. DXM09.NYB is a "future", which is not fully supported by Yahoo Finance. I cannot find it on google finance and CNBC either.

Thanks for bring it out. Never notice this since the first day of this gadget. The link points to Yahoo US now. And you can customize it to another yahoo local locations in "Edit Settings" page.

The problem is due to a recent upgrade in igoogle backend library. Sorry for the late fix as I am just aware of it recently. Please email me if the problem still exists or if you have any good suggestion.

live - almost steaming update every min ....also from yahoo feeds. Index is live, stocks is 15min delay.... unlike Y! which is all live

weak tool. "object error" is given with no indication where the error is. Works for 2 days and then doesn't. needs multiple ticker input capabilities. no symbol lookup.
