Doodle 4 Google - My
Future Australia
Doodle 4 Google is returning again in 2013! We will be sending out information to schools and have updated 2013 details on this site from 6 June so check back then for more details. Until then Happy Doodlin'. If you 'd like your school to be sent out information please email d4g-au@google.com.
At Google, we like to reflect the ever-changing world of our users through the logo designs on our homepage. These ‘doodles’ celebrate different people, events or special dates and are designed by a team of Google Doodlers.
In 2011, we’re asking young people from across Australia to design their own doodle. This year’s theme is ‘My Future Australia’. We’d love to see what young people want the future of Australia to look like.
The best doodles will be voted on by the public, and one winner will be shown on the Google Australia homepage for a day, to be viewed by millions of people.
My Future Australia
My Future Australia is creating more National Parks and saving the environment. I want a place to go when the world around me darkens, and the only place I could find refuge in is nature itself, away from man-made environment and people. Sometimes nature is such a good refuge that I escape my own self. The environment saves me, so I am responsible enough to save it.
